Reviews of Parnell Baths
Awesome spot in the summer, 50m length pool. Great ‘playground’ for kids, nice loungers to
relax on while the kids rip around!
Lovely facilities here. We enjoyed two visits here recently. The pool is very big and ideal for swimmers.
There is a great play area for children in the pool, they loved the inflatable.
The area is well run with a very good amount of lifeguards.
There is plenty of different seating areas, in the sun and shaded. Good changing facilities. Two lovely ladies run the food and drinks kiosk and there are some lovely cakes. There is a well stocked shop with swimming costumes etc.
Reception staff are polite and friendly.
Great all round. .
Parking is very good close by.
What amazing pools, wow!!! It's massive, with pools to suit all ages and abilities. Toilets, showers and changing rooms available. Parking is super limited and one narrow road leading in and out. Worth the walk though 👌🏻
Excellent for kids and family. Fair price.
1. Great place, lovely staff, BUT run-down! No shade over hot adult spa pool. RUSTY pipe stuck! SUNBURN hazard.
2. Shade over family spa, also needs MORE shade PLEASE.
3. Shower head disabled shower, broken holder - trip hazard!
4. Huge-size plastic waste in mud by carpark, terrible eye-sore.
Kindly make Council FIX trouble spots, thanks! Love The Baths -Do please Fix Hazards Thanks. *hugs*
I love this swimming pool.
60 m length, four lanes for training.
Friendly staff to welcome you, affordable prices for entry. Clean bathrooms and showers. Lifeguards around for safety.
The cafe has good and affordable food.
Arrive early to get a place to park.
Great day out for the kids - very clean nice friendly staff costs about $7 for adults kids under 16 free recommend you check it out it’s salt water 💦 so just be aware 👍🏽parking on judges bay road quite busy so you might want to park on Tāmaki Drive and walk across the bridge
Fantastic time, place had less than 10 other patrons. Very clean, and very attentive staff. For a quiet relaxing time during school terms this is unbeatable. Highly recommend.
The best part about this place is the adult spa pool. It is spacious and at good temperature. The largest part of the pool is deep (1.6-2.3m), so not suitable for learners. Only small part at 1.3m depth. The lido pool was closed during our visit. The cleanliness of the pool and changing should be improved. No door on the female shower rooms and no lockers.
It's a great swimming pool! It's free for kids under 16. It's an Olympic pool size. It's a salted pool with moderate temperatures. The deepest end is 2.4m. life guards are not available at the deep ends so you gotta make sure you know how to swim well. There's a small restaurant that's not worth buying food from since it's overpriced.
The pool is not clean but it's safer than the ocean since there are no sharks/animals in it, but I guarantee you it has some human fluids in it 😣. I saw a kid throwing up in there and all they did was cleaning that spot lol.
Awesome pools. The kiddie pool is shallower and heated and the larger pool is unheated and super deep, which is fantastic in summer when you need to cool off. Swim lanes are roped off
Lots of cool water toys - an aqua obstacle course, diving board and an in pool playground. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Being a hot summer weekend day it was jam packed today but unfortunately this also meant extra pressure on the changing rooms/bathrooms. Can't speak for the male change rooms but unfortunately while the female changing rooms were bright, airy and clean the female bathrooms were absolutely beyond atrocious. The toilets stank like a pot of marinated mussels that had been sitting in the sun for 3 days and the shower drains were completely clogged and the murky shower water was backed up to ankle deep with clumps of hair floating round in it 🤮🤮🤮🤮
I let the desk staff know but honestly it was so gross and off putting...

Best salty water pool at auckland
limitd carpark!
60m lane pool great !but it cold!
recommended
Fantastic pool and staff we’re really helpful, I had the pools to myself most of the time,
Nice facility. Enjoy the outdoor pool and spa except the pool continues to have problems with the unreliable filtration pumps. Many times the pool was closed when l arrived in the morning. Overall there is way too much chlorine in the water. I suffered from sore red eyes and skin rashes on multiple occasions. Many other swimmers have said they experienced the same problems. I have mentioned this to the different pool managers over the years but the problem has never really been fully resolved.
Possibly a funding issue by council? An upgraded saltwater UV system would enhance the complex.
Nice pool to have a dip with the family. It has limited public parkings for 180 min. There is swimming lanes, kids pool and play slides, family spa, and adults spa. Lockers for $4 each and changing rooms are large. They also have a swimming school. Entry fees are the usual council fee of $1 as an adult spectator and free for kids.
Really good pools. Salt water makes floating around really easy. Lots to do for the kids. Nice cafe too.
The kids loved these salt water pools. The shallow pools are really warm and have a playground in the water, as well as some fountains. The deep pool gets deep very quickly but is nice and refreshing and cooler than the other pools.
The changing room facilities look ancient and need upgrading.
Ideal for kids or a
This place was amazing, i when as a school to this place and i very much enjoyed it, the only problem was like it was a salt water pool so everytime u go under water ur eyes hurt alot but its great, also try the spa💯
Nice place would have been better if ticket staff put more effort into customer service and if she didn't know the answer find out instead of guessing and being wrong.
Lovely day out. Just don't forget your sunblock. Love that the lifeguards kept telling the people not to jump. High five to them for keeping it safer.
Hi
Team I was trying to call up but no one is picking up, I was there today with my family and lost a gold pendant on the pool if you found it can you please call me.
Such a cool pool, great for kids !
Only downside is very very limited parking!
Ur fav place during summer 🌞
Friendly well priced and 60m salt water pool that’s 2.45m deep- what a pleasure to swim here!
Great pool for kids, lots of swallow water for the little ones and a slide for slightly older. Family spa areas and adult ones. Shaded water areas too. Two negatives, they could do with more shaded areas for for sitting and the lift was out of order which made it difficult with a pram.
There was not many parking spaces available, my kid and I had to park about a 5 min walk away. We went on a weekend so it was understandably quite busy but it was overall a really nice place to go for a swim! The water is quite salty, I’d recommend wearing goggles if you have sensitive eyes
Parking was an absolute nightmare!
People always cutting everyone off in a one laned car park.
The pool:
The pool was lukewarm and was quite crowded at times but it was good. Good fun for adults and kids. If at all, it's really salty and it will burn your eyes. Pretty mediocre experience overall.
Had so much fun today with my friends.
Loved the aqua run and the donut floaties.
pool was very salty, to much salt for me. you could see the salt in the water when swimming. I suggest to bring goggles and don't go under water with out them. The water stings if gets in your eyes. Trust me I know bc it happened to me. changing/showers rooms and bathrooms we basically out in the open. every girl in the changing room could see everyone changing. the shower had no curtain everyone could see you, wear togs and jandals in the shower. Over all really fun day. Lifeguards on duty every where keeping us safe. had so much fun though.
The place that made me fall in love with New Zealand!! Amazing pool and facility!! Such a reasonable price for what you're getting!! 100% recommend!!
Awesome place to swim, saltwater pool with a very nice heated spa pool .
Can be nice if you go in the right weather but it's salt water so it leaves a pretty bad taste in the mouth. Also the changing rooms/bathrooms and the main pool are a bit gross. The family pool+spa is nice and warm though, and there's a mini little water slide which is pretty neat. There's also a shop that usually sells ice cream cones.
Love this place!
The coffee shop is not bad!
Love the 60m (or is it 70m?) saltwater lap pool. Had a great swim.
The changing rooms are, however, looking very tired. The women’s toilets and showers were also in great need of a good clean (I actually decided to skip showering afterwards as I didn’t want to stand on those tiles). I found the 4 dollar non-refundable charge for the lockers extortionate.
Awesome place to take the family! Only downfalls are the stairs to the women's change rooms are beyond slippery and as a first time visitor there isn't signage of where to go to pay for your entry so that took a few mins to figure out and the lift was broken so we had to go back down the ramp and come in the exit for stroller/wheelchair access. There is minimal parking and it was full at 9.30am
Great place to take the kids on a nice summer day. There's also a little cafe for a quick takeaway lunch and coffee while you watch the kids play.
Really good place for the kids. Not too busy. Staff are lovely. The bathroom/ changing facility could do with an upgrade. Other than that it’s a solid 4/5
Thank you :)
Parnell Baths is an iconic Auckland place, a must go destination. It's ideal for under 7yo children. My teenage boys love it too - the spa for adults is hot + if you don't like it Hot, there is another mixed spa, just right to stay warm. That's just to mention the bare minimum
Very clean compared to other public pools
Beautiful space hidden in Parnell! Only open for summer time and wish they had hairdryers and lockers :(
It’s a great place perfect for the kids & to relax don’t get me wrong but there is one thing that seriously needs to be changed & that is the water quality something is not right every time we go there my kids eyes and my eyes sting & that’s not even with eyes opened in water plus the water tastes like literal salt it’s so potent & strong that’s the only down fall about this pool and honestly that’s the reason why I don’t like going there anymore so until there water quality is fixed I will not be going back.
Nice place but SUPER SALTY water and VERY chlorinated to the point of burning your eyes etc from the salt levels. End of the large pool was very dirty with grass and rubbish floating and the spa was pretty dirty as well.
The pools are great!
Toilets need some update, but we had a wonderful day there.
Parking is limited.
Great selection of pools for adults and kids reasonable price for entry only problem was not enough parking for disabled parking, should be monitored, normal cars parking in disabled parking without permits is unfair they should be towed....
This is by far my favourite outdoor hot pool in Auckland! My kids love it as well 😊 Entrance fee is reasonable (the little shop at the reception desk that sell swim wear and accessories is not so reasonable), there's a little café that sell cold drinks /water, snacks (crisps and sweets), American hotdogs, hot chips and ice cream. If you get there early you can grab a spot in the shade. The change rooms are a little outdated and relatively clean depending on what time of the day you get there.
Fantastic pools for a great price, the staff were lovely and the pool facilities were great fun for my daughters second birthday. The lifeguards really went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy the pools. Downside is you need to be up early for the parking but apart from that my family LOVED IT, thank you! I will definitely be back again:)
Lovely pool but limited car parking. Lots of large families from the communities attend and for every code brown that closes down one of the pools I'd imagine a few go unreported...
Great for children, only downside I found was parking is limited and can be a bit crowded on holidays.
Other than that, would go again.
Great value (kids under 16 are free), and quite a bit to keep them entertained. It's a pretty big place too, and even at peak there seemed to be a decent amount of space to go around. Only minor point is there's a limited amount of shade, so on sunny days you may end up sitting by the changing rooms!
Best pool ever, especially for kids, with there water play ground. Only costed me $ 7.70 for me ( dad ) and the kids where free 🙂
Very nice facility we enjoyed our day there the staff were very friendly and the lifeguards were on point. However if you were there just to do laps in the pool great. But as a family day out we were let down by the fact that parts of the facility needed repairs and were out of order from broken tiles in the pool to the jungle jim slide for kids were out of order. The grass area mmm well it's not grass at all and the extreme lack of shade was a bit of a let down. I hope that these things get improved.
Pools looked lovely. I was a spectator. More seating under the overhang area so grandparents can interact with swimming children would be good. The picnic table we finally found was wobbly and needs repair.
Absolutely great for lane swimming.60 my swimming pool.
Great pool for the summer months. It’s a salt-water, outdoor pool, so it’s good to bring water, sunscreen, covered swimwear, and hats.
The pools here are awesome. Even when it was busy their was still space to move around. Good shaded areas for kids and a cool playground with slide in the water for them to play in.
The only negative for me was the parking. Had to wait a while for someone to come out so that we could have a parking.
What a cute place :) I loved the tile artwork on the wall too!
Friendly staff and well maintained facilities. Good idea to arrive early if you want a carpark near the entrance. Auckland needs more of these outdoor salt water pools. A new favourite swimming location for me and my family.
It's like a small aqua park for the kids. Pools water is sea water
awesome facility for people of all ages. my daughter loved the kids pool and playground! it's got a depth to suit every child to enjoy a good swim. definitely a summer spot! don't get water in your eyes though, its super salty
We love it. A good good day to get salty
Finally made my way to these pools for the first time. Its quite a big complex with a few different pools. The salt water pools are definitely a cool experience. I do really like that they have some quite deeps ends of the main pool here.
Parking here seems to be a bit crazy - so get in early otherwise its seems to be luck of the draw.
My only complaint about this place is that they dont seem to enforce any of their 'pool rules' that they clearly have posted everywhere? There were people wearing jean shorts, cotton t-shirts and full clothing in the pools. Also didn't appreciate that the lifeguards standing right next to the Adults only spa didn't seem to care that people were letting their children (under 3's) into the pool? They have a family spa for this reason!
Awesome place to swim
Everyone's favourite outdoor pool in Auckland. Popular facilities that keeps a high level of safety, security and a super clean environment. Frontline customer service staff are always welcoming, efficient and informative. Life guards are informative and professional in their communication with the public. Well done team another fabulous summer spot to enjoy! Ill be singing you soon.
Lido was closed due to high chemical treatment concentration. When it opened lots of kids still had sore eyes and were crying. Otherwise awesome time, great temperatures, good clean facilities, attentive and friendly staff. Even though these are council run pools with entry fees we're definitely coming back!
For the most part it was good, the parking on the other hand was Crazy,
Tip#1
Get there early for good parking,
Tip#2
Book an umbrella with a table $40 for 2 hours, but book it for at least 2 hours after being there, so lunch will be enjoyable and cool
Favorite pool for swimming (laps) in the summer.
The salt water facilitates the use of wetsuits for those so inclined. 60 metre length allows one to focus longer on stroke mechanics before executing a turn. Even on busy holidays I have always found a swim lane that I may have to share with one or two others. Yes it can be crowded for those looking to simply splash about during the summer holidays.
Could indeed use a little freshen up, but it is clean and well maintained.
So nice to go for a swim here. If you’re not a family with children, I tend to avoid in the weekends. Often packed and hard for adults to relax when there’s kids going everywhere in the pools. I often come down on week night evening and it’s lovely, the pool is the perfect temperature and adults only spa is nice.
Was lovely to finally be out after a long lockdown, and im glad we made the trip out to Parnell Baths. We have a 3yr old with special needs and she loves water, so this seemed like the perfect place to take her. Our family really enjoyed it. I wouldve given 5 stars but my son got a nasty cut on his hand from the toddler spa pool and no incident form was written up. Other than that, we had great time!
Such a cool swimming pool. The kids had an amazing time in the kids pool, very cool slide set up and the pool is nice and warm. The larger pool is colder but refreshing, lanes available for proper swimming. Spa pool for the adults. Cafe on site and tables under the trees.
It is Nice place to spend time with the family on the hot day. Very hotday. pool temperature wasn't anything closer to 29 degrees as advertised. Stuff mentioned "our boilers shows it is" but almost everyone were in spa as it was almost impossible stay in the water :(
Children under 18 are free. Love the warm family pool, cool kids slide, salty water instead of chlorine is nice. There are some family hot pools too, but they are way too hot for children.
Sadly, they've banned chilly bins and "Commercial food" due to the café there now. Sad to have to hide food instead of just having a great day.
Very good place to swim with toddlers but BEWARE of 🐝 !! they are on the water and on the floor sometimes you might get bee sting.
Hurts the eyes really bad, huge lines to get in too many people in a pool also why do you have to book a table for $40 for 3 hrs! What if some family is there first are you expected to move upon there arrival makes no sense fifs! I think! And tables still have reserved on them the next day, So people dont use them!
Outdoor salt water pools to suit a family or individuals. The kiddie pools are nice and heated while the big swim lanes pool is out not. They have covered heated Spas for kids and adults. Cost was $6.40 for an adult and FREE for all under 16. Just don't forget to bring your swim goggles or face the burning salt in your eyes.
Great day. Had a good catch up with family. Only problem was the no chilly bin policy??????? Hot as day armed with a fantastic picnic but told you can't bring the chilly bin in to keep the food cold. The food itself was fine to bring in though. Surely running the risk of food poisoning common sense would prevail.
Wonderful pools although the inside of the 60mt lane could do with a good wipe down and a lick of paint wouldnt hurt either. Otherwise, love the pools, staff and the safety aspect on the whole..
Our FAVOURITE public swimming pool in Auckland. Heaps of fun for the kids while I sit in the spa pool, or go for a big swim in the extra long Olympic pool. The shop sells quality togs and there is also a good cafe. You can't bring in your own commercial food, but picnic baskets are OK. I LOVE this place and would go every day if I could!!!
Went with friends 30th March, before 10am so plenty of parking available. Enjoyed salt water and spa, had iced chocolate and hot dog. Few people about, lovely time
Enjoyable in the water and out, found some shade and a picnic table free😀👍
Not enough parking for Summer, had to park along way away. Thankfully my car wasn't ticketed or towed with only 2 hours allowed.
Have been taking our kids here for many years now and will continue to do so. Very clean venue with the option of picnic tables and lots of other seating. Lots of different swimming options for a range of ages. Reccomend for all the family!
Great for kids. Lots of shallow place for them to swim. And the price is just $6.40 per adult! It has the largest saltwater pool in New Zealand, along with spa pools, a heated Lido pool and interactive aqua playground.
My kids loved it. Thats all that matters. But parking is a hugh headache and the taste of the water regardless of my efforts to not get any, anywhere near my mouth is disgusting. It stings the eyes and all u can taste is alot of salt and chlorine 🤢
Favorite swimming spot in Auckland.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The facility is in desperate need of a spruce up. Seems very run down. Female changing rooms were not great. Needs way more shade too. However we enjoyed our time with our friends.
Perfect for a sunny day out with kids. Café a bit slow and doesn't have a lot of healthy food options so if you want anything other than chips and hotdog on a stick, bring a picnic. The toilets are really gross but the rest of the facilities are fine.
Great area for toddlers so they are separated from the big kids. Good temperature but can get very salty at times so googles help. Best to go when it's not too busy.
It was OK but it was very deep for my 11 year old daughter and way too salty
Wonderful on a sunny day. Great place to swim longer laps.
The Parnell Baths are my favourite public swimming pools in Auckland. I am not able to say when they were built. They have an art - deco style. The water in the pools is sea water which may not please everyone.
Also there is no diving facilities here either. The style and location of this complex for me is what appeals. There is also a spa pool, good shower facilities, a shop for snacks & drinks along with friendly, helpful staff. Can get very busy over summer school holidays.
Good pool. Large pool. 3m deep in some areas. Nice for a bit of diving + swimming. Have a board from where u can bomb in the water. Onmy 5.20 for students.
Nice pools. Facilities are a little tired, pool surround can be pretty hard on your feet, but generally the pool is lovely. Long 60m length, salt water, nice warm shallow pool for children etc.
Great place for a salt water swim in the Summer weather.
Cheap pools. Lifeguards were friendly and attentive. Good day out with the kids. Café being in charge of the BBQ and food rules is a bit weird and off-putting.
Very nice place but i am no fan of hot water and it has some places where the water is hot... also i did not like that once you are inside, if your kids wants to play in some inflatable games they put, you have to pay again for them to play on it.
Relaxing, warm, not too crowded, water temperatures were perfect for afternoon swimming. Lots of loungers to sunbathe on. Good entry price.
Great pool if a little rustic with the saltwater - lots of space. Length is 60 metres which is a bit odd. Parking is a shocker at times with a very rudimentary access road.
This is a great pool to go to. The prices are relatively cheep for adults and great for kids as under 16's are free. The changing rooms are not in the best of conditions and could do with a spruce up. Be warned, the water is salt water and stings your eyes so it's a good idea to bring googles especially for the younger ones. There is a cold pool with a diving board and lanes roped off for more serious swimmers. There is also a warmer, shallow pool with a water playground which is ideal for kids of all ages as well as a family spa, adult spa and some hot pools that are extremely shallow for parents with babies. You are also able to hire a inflated doughnut for $2. There is a overpriced cafe which also sells ice creams but I would recommend bringing a packed lunch and enjoy eating it on the grassy area provided. This is allowed however large chilly bins are not.
Pro:
60m outdoor pool
Outdoor lounge chairs
3 hour parking
Swim shop
Neutral:
Salt water. It's very salty, more than you might be used to from ocean swimming elsewhere
Con:
$6.40 price
Weirdly high pool walls that mean you can't put kickboards etc near where you swim
Tired facilities that need maintenance
$4 locker that only takes $2 coins. Meaning that this is a $10.40 visit if you have anything worth securing
Nice pools mostly. Service a bit poor. Staff not that friendly, look unenthusiastic and not very helpful. Need goggles for kids. Salt water really stings. Keep a hold of your belongings. Apparently they don't keep lost property!
Big pools...lovely place for kids
Fantastic pools. Friendly and helpful staff.
A great place to read a book in the sun.
Very cool place to have some awesome fun with the family just remember the pools are salt water pools but nice options for the whole family with dedicated children's pool with water slide ample space for sun bathing and relaxing and a cafe indoors for family cravings
We enjoyed our swim and showers. It's a really nice facility with friendly attentive staff! I just wish there were exit and entrance signs. Also the showers could be a bit cleaner.
Great, but more shade would be beneficial during the hot summer months. Fabulous for children of all ages. Great facilities and staff brilliant. Well maintained and very clean.
What a beautiful place on a beautiful day!! 👍👍👍
Free for 16 years and under.
Lots of different pools.
The chemicals they use in the water hurt the eyes too much
Not enough shade on hot days nor seats
Overall it looks lovely
Best outdoor pool in Auckland! free entry for kids and some days the have inflatables -$3 per kid. Hours of fun!
Front counter service is great. Feels like you have to go over a mountain just to get to the actual pools. The stones on the ground ripped up the bottom of my feet. Toilets and showers etc are clean just seem really outdated.
I liked it but there was an issue that is annoying for me. In the changing room and shower room ,you can't find any privacy. A simple curtain might help it.
Great place for younger children. Heated salt water pools with a playground in the pool :-) it hasn't been too busy the last two tim
es I have been which has been nice too.
Despite it's busy in holidays but it's a nice pool to spend time with the family.
Kids (under 16) can go for free and adult's ticket costs 6.40$ each.
Very crowded pools but expected for a large city, kids hated the salt haha so warn your children that the pools are salted. Good place to take the kids for a swim in the city though
I really enjoyed the pools very relaxed and good exercise
There's no better way to get the best of two worlds. Warm Sea water without the beach sand on your bottom, can you believe it? I thought this was something that you'd find only in dreams.
The only down bit - parking is at a premium (so if you decide to go after 12, chances of getting a space are minimal, but even before it's a bit of a struggle), and the café is a bit pricey.
If you want to take food, commercial food (for example - KFC, MacDonald's) isn't allowed. Also, no chilly bins/BBQ's etc. Individually packed lunches are okay, or if you're a smuggling Master, go ahead and conceal that roast pork somewhere! 😁
Great place to take the kids cold pools hot spas easy access to all pools kids free beach water front if u dont like pools salty water all pools
fantastic historic outdoor pools that are still fun today. Good variety of areas to swim and play for adults and kids. Changing facilities and toilets could be better.
I enjoyed my time there and there was a good space and not too busy.
would recommend that you visit on a weekday because weekends are pretty busy as.
I showed up naked and ready for a bath and was given the opportunity to wash my body down amongst other sexy singles 70+. Thank you for this opportunity to be on Love Island,
It was awesome too spend the day at the pools ,lovely and warm in the shallow and the family spa was great salt water.
Kids love it here, water sometimes stings the eyes so bring goggles. Plenty of loungers, spas, huge 1m deep pool great for the kids
The best Outdoor pool in Auckland. 60 metre for lane swimmers and large graduated depth family friendly pool with slides.
Its a good family pool. They have separate pools for all ages. The staff is friendly and always willing to help 😊
Great pool, ideal for families and groups.
Love going there. Only thing I dislike is the pathways. Very sharp on feet. My nephew fell over & skinned his feet, knees & hands.
This is the best public pool Auckland has!
Outdoor, saltwater amazingness!
Free entry for all under the age of 16.
Love it!
Been going here for years love these pools kids can stay here all day and if they get cold can have a nice spa in the family one❤️
This place was good. It was really crowded because of summer. Excellent splashing for kids. Cafeteria was good too. It was a great experience.
Decent price for the family. The pools are in good condition and the temperatures were great.
Probably best / cleanest pools in Auckland
My kids love these pools minus the stinging in the nose and eyes when diving
Overall I’d recommend these pools to families with small children 👍
It's a bit of a patient, but it's charming deposit. I've been coming here all my life and I just love it. It's perfect for kids of all ages.
Really fun pool for the whole family. 4 stars because you can't dive off the diving board and the water is very very salty.
Nice family friendly pool. Good value for money. Kids area great for the little ones.
Salty warm water and great kids experience
Good place, but cannot bring a esky or gazebo in. Chlorine in the pools are strong enough to sting your eyes.
Its a good place to be but its salt water mixed with chlorine its pretty sore on the eyes but still good to go
Perfect spot on these hot summer days , lots of pools hot and cold , great views back to the city and great price for swimming
Best pool in Auckland 😎 kids enjoyed it even us adults - parking is impossible during busy season, besides that was awesome.
Had a great time there with the kids. Clean pools is a plus. Heads up -parking can be a real challenge.
Wonderful place for kids love the heated water pity we could not bring in our own food for birthday party
Nice big splash pools for smaller children with warm water. Deep main pool. Thoroughly enjoyed
Cool place to take the kids, water fountains, slides, lanes to one side for serious swimming and shop if you feel peckish.
Good pool complex. Sea water pool. Lots fo children to do and play on. Some out of pool areas are in need of a tidy up.
Cheap kids loved it toddler pool warm kids didn't want to come out of the water on a nice summery day
Salt water pools my babies loved it here might bring the whole family through next time I guess it's better than chlorine pools... 👍
Great outdoor pools! The kids pools are fantastic and the main pool is really deep with lots of space to swim and play.
My son enjoy the swimming 🏊 but the water that comes out in the shower 🚿 area was too hot ♨, we hope you can adjust it to luke warm only.
Salt water pool. Quieter before 1030.
Adult spa, family spa, kid spa too
Good value 10 session pass under $70
Love these pools! A great summer's day out with the family. Affordable prices too!
Great for summer. Cheap or free here. Little shade though so beware lots of sunscreen and hats. Thankyou
Could probably do with more seating around the place and an upgrade on the showers, but overall not bad
Best kept secret on the waterfront. Salt water pools, clean & no chlorine. great sun lounger spaces. Love it!
Love Parnell Baths.Been going to these pool's for 40 year's, especially in the school holiday's when we were growing up. Always clean and tidy
Recently renovated, nice and clean pool. Changing rooms need touch up

Awesome place, too much chlorine and salty water but definitely clean!!!
Really spacious kid friendly, heated, salt water pool.
Awesome place very clean and good for kids. Cafe has nice food as well
Great place for the kids during the summer, can't bring your own food here though!
Easily accessible and local to the Auckland region.. Of mission Bay round the Bays area opposite Judges Bay reserve Parnel Rose gardens.
Good for kids but always busy both in the pool and finding parking in the road.
Enjoyable for adults and children...parking can be difficult but not the fault of the baths.
Great pool
It’s a bit too salty but overall great pool
Awesome pools...but hard to get a park and very narrow road in to the entrance
Excellent swimming pools.salted warm pools, adult spa pools, kids fountain pools as well.small cafe and BBQ area.
Love Parnell Baths. It always delivers. Cooled down it the water, did a couple of lazy laps, then sunbathers in the late afternoon sun and day dreamed the afternoon by.
Love this place, nice for afternoon relaxing with kids. Salty, warm water q
Gorgeous on a nice day but the salt water was not what my 5 year old was expecting at a pool.
Great for the kids and adults....... All round great family outdoor pools.......
Only open in the summer months. Nice clean pool. Not so busy at 7 am
Love this place.great for kids.
Although needs much more shade!
And the cafe is pointless.
Always enjoy taking the family here.
Very age appropriate for families an children of all ages
Nice place to spend with or without kids. Outside pool, salty water and beds to relax and get some tan.

Good but lift wasn't working hard to access with a pram.
Great pools. Space for serious swimming and for play.
Great staff. A pity about the people who don't know what reserved means
Our summer hangout, especially when it's low tide and you want a swim. Heated, salt water pools.
Great way to start your day in Auckland. Friendly staff.
Favourite place to hang out in the heat of the summer and enjoy the school holidays.

Great spot for lap swimming
Our family love this place!
I went there on a weekend morning. When we arrived at 8:00 in the morning, there was plenty of parking. But when I left at 9:30, it was already full, so I think it's important to arrive early in the morning.
I was worried that the water would be cold early in the morning, but the children's pool area was not too cold and there was no problem.
The temperature in the spa is not that warm, which is a shame if you imagine a Japanese hot spring, but it's OK for adults to enjoy without getting cold.
Parking is available for a maximum of 3 hours, and lockers ($4) are available for a maximum of 3 hours.
In fact, even if the children enjoyed themselves in the water play area, about an hour and a half would be enough, so there was no problem with the time limit.
I was also concerned about the comments about the hygiene of the changing room, but there was no particular odor, and although it may have been because it was the first thing in the morning, I didn't have any unpleasant impressions.
It's the perfect place to enjoy a cheap summer with your family.
By the way, the water was really salty, and when the kids went on the waterslide, it seemed like it would hurt a lot if they got water in their eyes.
Also, there are limited shade areas when you're in the pool, so it might be important for adults to take sun protection.
We had a sunny, relaxing day. We'd love to come back!
Very clean establishment, good welcome
different pools for children and a large pool for those who want to swim...several spas...very pleasant water temperature
on the other hand, the lawn space is limited and the distance between the pools and this lawn is on a concrete floor so it burns with the sun!
Only problem is parking! It is tiny and the sector is in the 120 mins zone!!🤨
I recommend the place… quiet family, the children have a lot of fun 😘
The swimming pool is okay, but the check-in staff was too lazy, resulting in a long queue to get in.
It looks impressive - it's a pity it's closed in winter
The outdoor swimming pool by the sea is beautiful!
Great place for timepass
