The food was OK, a little undersalted to my taste. Service was good.

Great little spot! Stopped in for a quick ale on our way to Long Bay...really nice atmosphere, and we could sit outside with a beach view and watch the world go by! Ordered a bowl of chips as well which were beautiful!

Great position right by Brown's Bay beach. Good food except for one steak meal, but cost of that meal refunded. Good service on such a busy day

Kia ora, I had dinner with my 1 year old son here a few nights ago and I was told to try the guiness pie, well what I can say I was shocked honestly how delicious it was! I recommend this pie 100% it came with mushy peas that my son loves! And also came with fries, dip your fries in the pie it's delicious! I cant stop talking about how good the pie! Thank you speakers corner 🙏🏾

Was a pleasant Saturday arvo to sit outside and enjoy a few beers with great surroundings also had a massive plate of wedges with a monster amount of sour cream ...almost too big .will be back for sure

The only truly independent pub I know. Great selection of tap and bottle beer and not tied to any single brewery. Food is great value - get the curry of the day with half chips and half rice!

Great price, good portions. I had the ham steak and pineapple on chips with salad and it was tasty. Great atmosphere, would go again.

Great pub in that resembles a British pub. Great outside area with a view of the beach. Tasty pub grub with excellent prices and amazing selection of drinks however the service wasn't good but i feel the girl was new. Recommended coming here if your in the area.

Food was great and it is always good to go with a tap beer. Especially after a busy day ! Highly recommend the service as well.

Love the old English pub style. Staff are lovely!! Got a plate of Wedges was huge and had plenty of the toppings. Food has changed alot since I was last here. Atmosphere can be serene during the day or on a quiet night to all out fun and rowdy when a big game is on. Highly recommend

it has beautiful view of Browns bay face to Rangitoto island. Highly recommend to try lunch special which is only $20 includes a pint of bear and good size lunch dishes. Tasty foods and kind staffs.

Speakers corner is legendary for a reason. An English pub wonderland

Good place to sit outside and watch the ocean while drinking a Guinness. Excellent pricing on that too. Food is good to above average pub fare. Guinness pour is usually good, but the younger temp staff on quiet nights will do it wrong. Overall one of the best pubs on the North Shore.

Great typical British pub food and environment pretty clever as it’s in browns bay in New Zealand 😊 good quality food on a regular basis. Great position right by the beach good outside seating area. Perfect position for long afternoons people watching with friends. Great staff.

A proper pub with a great atmosphere especially if you are a sports fan. As the name would suggest, it is right on the corner across the road from Browns Bay Beach, so stunning views guaranteed.

Good ale on tap, food was what is expected from pub meal but took time to deliver. Waitress / barmaid was new and did not have a good knowledge of the specialty sales on offer. Despite this it was a good visit and recomend to anybody who likes a good English ale

I've been several time at speakers, service is great, especially Sandy's one. The food quality is going down big time. I love my steak MR but for some reason, always been getting it MW or WD. Maybe cos steak night is cheaper than regular price, so less quality on the promos???

We love this place. My family always feels welcome here. Their food is good value for money and the Guiness is at its cheapest price in Auckland. The fire place is a great feature, we really enjoy the warmth of that space and coziness of the couch during a week's night when it's quieter.

Has a nice view of the beach out the back. Food can be ordered via the kitchen and drinks are reasonably priced.

I like Speakers. As do many others I'm sure. Lots of different beers or other drinks to choose from. A good outside area to sit in. A good range of pub meals to choose from. Close to the beach. Parking can be a bit challenging at times but last time I went there I got rock star parking right outside the door! Staff are always friendly.

Great place to go for dinners with family or friends. The place has great atmosphere and you can choose to either sit inside or outside. They are generally busy every time that we have gone for dinner so you normally get to have a few drinks while waiting for the food. I have not tried all their dinner selections but have found that it is mostly edible :)

Very loud inside, but was a busy Friday night. Very large portions of food. Cheap drinks. Worst Gin n tonic I've ever had though. I think someone was learning the ropes that night. But not bad overall.

Great food and drink with great service

The owner is an amazingly lovable person and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely environment and frequent fun activities. Would recommend to anyone.

Good spot. A pints not that pricey and nors a decent meal. Good ambience and a nice location to boot. Finding a car park can be tricky but you can always poach a spot at the supermarket if needs be. Mix of beers/ales on tap.. something for most palettes IMHO. Oh and the music isnt stupid loud so you can actually talk without having to shout.

It's pub food, great view, and the local Hang out for the Saturday afternoon beer or chit chat...it's relaxing and great to meet friends .Food is pretty good ...and tasty ..they have some tv screens for the games and everyone loves the friendly staff. Please avoid the Nachos they have maybe only a table spoon of mince yet an entire container full of cream cheese ontop to hide the fact that there is no mince only beans. I had this twice now and both times they had this lack of meat. The young manager were a bit rude and then very unprofessional when i told him i was not pleased with this and offered me more mince, instead of just giving an appropriate helping in the first place. He pulled his face to his friends when he walked back to the desk , a bit to learn from the saying the "client is always right". I still had to pay the full price for this plate of nachos and container of cream cheese.

Good deal on Bateman's. My husband and I have had a hard time finding a good English ale in new Zealand. Really nice setting and feels like a true English pub, but with the ocean out the back door.

Probably the best value pub on the shore. My grandson had fish and chips and I was overwhelmed at the plate full. Beer selection is second to non and all enjoyed whilst on the sea front.

Unfortunately very busy with only two on in L2 lockdown. They did as good a job as they could but was under staffed. Got caught out as whole area very busy.

Great place to sink a Kilkenny. Fair prices on drinks and a great view. Could smell someone smoking weed the whole time we were there though. It's not legal yet mate.
