j.A bit of a hard to find tin shed, but worth the effort. I always struggle with these places - dozens of craft beers that are just a name to me, never heard of them. However, they were reasonably helpful finding something I like (and I did like it!), without making me feel like an idiot. It's worth at least one visit, you'll probably spend a few quiet afternoons there!

E.Great place to get a drink with friends or family. I would like a broader range of non-alcoholic options as they have the Karma drinks range (the brand that has gingerella) and Homegrown juices, neither of which are what I would go for if there were other options. The range of beer is great and I love the sangria. They always allow you to taste before ordering so you know you'll like what you choose. They have some wine options however I haven't tried them

R.A fair brewery with a large selection of beers. The selection really does cater for all tastes, and the arrangement of the menu groups the beverages by type - this was a great way to order.
Prices are premium prices, with $10.00 NZ being the starting point for any beer (from what I could tell). I find this to be at odds to the purpose of providing an extensive selection.
The atmosphere is somewhat industrial but not too imposing. There is a small barber shop contained in the premises too.
L.Great find! Space is tucked away behind some odd shops so you might miss it! There are 40 taps to choose from, get a tasting platter if you're keen on trying several types.
There's also a food truck on weekly rotation if you need to grab a bite.

t.Only been here a couple of times but a fun atmosphere. Usually has about 20 beers on tap with some interesting flavours (last had a blackcurrant beer.) They also have a revolving food truck line up so there is always a good mix of food. Definitely recommend people check this place out if you want some unique beers.
It's also family friendly.

A.Great range of beers and good spot to catch up with mates, but was ruined by the rude service of one girl working the bar. Obviously having a bad day, but not great to be making customers feel unwelcome. Food truck setup is great though. Love checking out what you've got on offer.

Not sure how they got a licence with such poor bathrooms - be prepared to have to wait if it’s busy as there’s only one toilet for men and woman to share and no where for guys to stand and take a piss.

People playing Scrabble - barber stool for if you want a haircut - even playing 'Hedbanz' (what am I). Food truck / caravan always changing so new food to try - over 40 craft beers on tap, wine, non-alcoholic drinks. Awesome - great concept - good few hours out.
A.I like fruit or wheat beers, similar to Belgian beers. These guys have neither. Glass of beer $11 bucks. To be honest, I wouldn't want to pay that much for beer that I can get at a liquor store on tap for $13/litre. They got white lady burgers cart on site, which is a big bonus. Rather go to a good pub.

E.Doesn't seem like much when you first walk in, boy was I WRONG! The beers are impressive! The non beers are equally impressive. The bar and glasses are surgically clean. The toilets are exceptionally clean. Would definitely recommend the tasting option. This is six small (but not too small) glasses of your choice of beers. We had a great time and found some new favourites.

J.This is a good place to go if you like craft beer. they serve wine and mixes as well. There is a tuck truck caravan thing for the food, it's all good. Always busy and good atmosphere. For myself and my partner, we have had to adjust our route home from work, because we struggle to drive past without popping in for a pint and some food from the food truck that week.

F.Great selection of craft beer. There are also some interesting ciders to choose from. Pay attention to the seasonal/limited time offerings. This is a popular spot among the office workers in the area so expect to park down the street in the afternoon/evenings
S.My favorite find of the North shore. Everybody who works hear is fabulous plus the picks and atmosphere are great. They have a weekly roster of food trucks. My recommended paddle line up if available: Hawkes Brew Co. Ginger Fusion, Hawkes Bay Co. Sangria, and all the Ciders. I'm a wimp at beer but they do have heaps more beer than the tasty stuff I just listed.

With such a selection you will definitely be able to find something you like. You can also get a haircut while you drink if that is your jam.
Parking can be a bit of an issue but there is more parking behind the Chinese restaurant next door and you can just walk across. Or just uber.
Staff are really friendly and great for some good advice if you're stuck due to there being too much choice!

E.Best beer place in Auckland! Around 40-50 different sorts of beers. They don’t serve food. However, there is a food truck outside (rotate every week). The only place for improvements is a toilet, one cabin for the whole bar.

There are cultish followings for a lot of things these days... Star Wars, Hobbits, Pokemon's and Coffee brands come to mind... "The Beer Spot" is a brilliant concept. Actually its way more than a concept, its now part of our lives. We've been "indoctrinated" by the variety of smooth, sweet, raw, exotic, real and unpretentious beers on tap. We're already planning our next visit and my colleagues at the office are keen to drop in to enjoy a craft beer, cider, or even a wine before our year end function.
Take note though... this is not a pub, or bar, or pick up joint. Real people, with real lives, who enjoy a good laugh because they work hard, come here to shoot the breeze or spin a good yarn with their mates.

J.Cool little pub with lots of outdoor seating and a large variety of beers. The most I've seen in Auckland since coming from Vancouver. I had a feijoa Saison which was like sour and sweet and delicious in the hot afternoon. The food truck took a while to make two sandwiches though so make sure you have time to wait before ordering.
