Fantastic selection of craft beers. The food is very good. The selection of foods could be better but the food I had was bang on. I had the pulled pork tacos. And they were really good. The beef was also fantastic. This place does charge backs to Ramada suites also

Bar was about to close. I had just gotten off a long shift in work, never visited Auckland before and was looking for a bite to eat and drink or two. The Guy running the place took me in, made me some food and sent me on my way after. Excellent service. Sila was his name. Will be coming back next time.

Came by to check out the beer selection and wasn't let down by the impressive selection they had. They had 20 different beers on tap and changed a few at the end of the night. The hardest thing is choosing from the selection. The beer names are on the tap but there was a "pouring now" wire board with the beer currently on tap. The area isn't too bad, parking available around the Victoria street region. They had a few tables inside as well as outside and it was fairly large. The food was quite nice. Quite a few thing to choose from but I would recommend the fish and chips is it is your first time here since they are a fish and chippery. Selection of fishes with different prices and different styles of cooking. What was interesting is that they serve all their food takeaway style, wrapped in paper. Tasty food and nicely priced.

Burgers were filling and tasted good but felt like there may have been a little something missing (Chicken one could have had more flavour). Salad bar was disappointing (more something of the side rather than something you could make a meal out of). Great diverse selection of drinks. Service was friendly and reasonably fast given the busy lunch hour. Would come again and try something else :)

So close to being 5 stars - the food is good, but not as amazing as some other offers in the area. But the beer list is unbeatable. The venue is really laid back and feels like a local country pub, but with the beer selection of a much fancier venue. Definitely worth stopping by!

One visit here and this jumped up into my Top 3 craftbeer spots in Auckland for their 20 taps, good atmosphere, great fish and chips, but most importantly, the most friendly bartenders and managers and clientele. I even ended up having an hour long, very in depth educational convo with them on follow-on visa options with them who've done the residential move themselves! Just sitting there and observing you'll see how much everyone who comes in loves talking with them. I'll definitely be back soon and many times after.

A large selection of awesome beer. This is one of the few places in Auckland we found a Cherry Cider. Staff is very friendly. Food was very good, one order of fries is enough to snack of for hours. Will definitely come back.

We were delighted to find this place, which not only has knowledgeable friendly staff, but a large number of local beers (and a couple of ciders) on draft, including one which pleased my very picky brother, who particularly likes IPAs. They were even kind enough to give my brother some instructions about what NZ beers to try when he was further away from the city. We also had the fish and chips, which were outstanding. We got the recommended fish of the day. Very fresh fish cooked to perfection, and a generous serving of chips. Airy, rustic interior. A bit off the main tourist strip, so very uncrowded on the week day afternoon we were there. Highly recommended

Great pub with great beer. This place is a little off the beaten track but the best beer bar in Auckland and New Zealand. Great staff and great beer. Doesn’t get better than this. If it’s not to busy ask for some onion rings. Not on the menu but they will make for you and they are epic. Enjoy.

We were visiting Auckland for a few days and had just disembarked the hop-on-hop-off bus at the Sky Tower - looking for some good local fish and chips. This restaurant did not disappoint. I was also struck by the amazing number of local, craft beers. My friend had the popcorn shrimp which were lightly battered and nice size shrimp. We really enjoyed the meal and service was excellent as well. I definitely recommend The Brewers Co-Operative!

We came here on a Monday and it was busy but perfect for a date night. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about beer with lots of goutenfree food options. Although a smaller wine list it was good and again the staff knew their wine. The food was so good and my partner was blown away by how good the gluten free fish and chips were (of your gluten free you know this is not an easy task). The staff went above and beyond suggesting where we could go on our trip. This is a spot frequented by locals and a must try as a tourist!

Love the beer choices and constant rotating of the taps, the fish and chips is also excellent but can take a long time during busy times. We arrived during lunch and it was very slow which meant each order came out at different times. We were a group of 6 and each ordered beer and fish and chips. The beer selection was perfect with low alcohol through to high percentage IPAs available. The only issue was the wait time but the food was good and we solved the issue by getting another round of drinks

Stopped in to see if they had any gluten free fish and chips since my wife has Celiac. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and honest and said that their kitchen is a extremely gluten rich environment and they couldn't safely recommend anything, unfortunately. Rather than trying to get a sale and for us to buy some grub they put my wife's well being first! It shouldn't be shocking, but it is rare to find folks like this. We grabbed two ciders (which were delicious) and I'll be recommending this place to all my gluten eating co-workers.

Great craft beer bar which always has a decent range on their many taps. Also one of few places where you can ALWAYS get Liberty Knife Party on tap which is a very very good beer when fresh. They also do some high quality pub style foods like pies, fish and chips. Staff are always friendly and can recommend beers.

I usually like going to Breweries. This place is located on Vic St in a very busy location. Its especially packed on weekends and sunny evenings. Had a couple of beers with fries. Tjey give massive amount of fries, enough for 3! Had tap beers which are not on the menu but available over the counter. They have good spread of beers and the ambience is friendly. Not a super classy place but a good one to visit every now and then.

I loved this place. Good old fashioned pub feel with lot of nice spirits, craft beers and liqueurs. Food was great to and we had a wonderful yarn with Thomas, the Duty Manager, who really made us feel welcome and taught us a thing or two about Auckland, the pub and local beer culture. Why this pub is not on the heartofthecity.co.nz top 10 Pubs is beyond me. Stick the Belvidere in the fridge though Tom ;)

It's ok - tried beer on draft and kumara ( sweet potato) fries. The beer was fairly flat and fries were soggy like they were microwaved from the day before. The portion size was large so if all you need is to fill your stomach and don't really care much about taste it would be ok.

This is a pretty cool place with many craft beer taps and good food. The staff are friendly and kowlegeable and are happy to run you through their beer selection. Decor is uber hipster retro if that makes sense with high bar tables and low key fittings which work well. If in Auckland check this place out.

Okay. So i got a burger from here. And there was a "secret sauce" in the burger. It must've been top secret coz i couldnt taste it. And i didnt like it. I WOULD however go back coz a friend of mine got the Pork Belly Bites and OOH LORD they were good.
