First visit here. Hopeless table service, had to order at the bar. However the food certainly made up for it, it was delicious and the meals were very large. Entree calamari was easily a main meal size. Spicy crumbed chicken Burger was also massive with 2 breasts, huge onion rings and bacon etc. I couldn't finish my meal. Super full. Def would visit again.

Excellent beer, food, staff and atmosphere. Comes with a pool table and a few gambling games if that's what you're interested in.

Decent food and good size portions. The steak fries are a little underwhelming and food can take a while to arrive. Not much parking available and need to order food at counter. The stone grill food options are pretty cool.

AMAZING... Had my daughters 21st at this regular venue for my dad, so had a basic idea of the Service and quality we were investing in....blown away...totally loved the evening, the staff are amazing, no Request was to small no Amount of supplies were to big. So glad we chose The venue. The staff are awesome and fully recommend this place To anybody, service and professional manner was above and beyond, very polite and also went above and beyond. The chef, omg Totally knocked the food out of the building, BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL 😍, was always flowing, took the stress of everything, kept us all feed and never Short of a nibble or the main meal, thank you for an Fantastic evening. Opening up extra early for the Breakfast the following day was also an added service that we absolutely appreciated due too out of town guests, having a another beautiful menu to pick from and kept up with the number of orders, fantastic and highly appreciated this, it was delicious and just what we needed...Thank you so much, Candice was very pleased and extremely grateful Highly recommend, fantastic and will definitely be a first choice for future functions. I enjoyed the beef burger, it was quite big size. The chicken burger was a bit spicy. I also enjoyed the wild buck lager. The prices are reasonable!

First time visit and will definitely not be the last! Went in the evening on a Friday night when both the warriors were playing as with the hurricanes so the place was very busy. Despite that our large group who had booked tables got our dinner orders very fast and was of excellent quality and at pretty good prices. The sizes of the meals were very very generous so if you order the nachos then you probably won't eat them all by yourself!! The staff were super friendly and really made you feel welcome. Thankyou for an excellent experience and I'll definitely be back.

We participate in quiz night held there every Wednesday, been going for years. The DH has changed hands a few times but service and vibe remains the same. The food is good, great portions, value for money. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and always very helpful. Great culture, enjoy going there.

This place was awesome, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had the beef burger and pulled pork tacos. Both meals were good size and so so tasty! The steak fries and aioli were also amazing, cooked perfectly and lovely seasoning. The meals took maybe 15minutes to arrive which was pretty good considering the quality! Would highly recommend!!

Awesome Father's Day celebration welcome in L2.5 .. meals were delicious... my brother had inadvertently left his gift on the table when we left but when I called an hour later they had already realised and held safely until we returned to pick up.

Pleasant helpful staff but only 3 stars as I am a vegan and having looked at the menu b4 thought there were some options. However upon arrival my choices 2/3 not there. I choose a pizza w cheese in the end and as it was my goodbye from work bit disappointing. I also got my pizza well b4 the other guests got their food but then I did not get charged which was good again. The others food was nice they said.

Place was packed because I went during Wilder VS Fury 2. So didn't get much to drink but atmosphere was amazing with crowd cheering and so many TVs. 1 start deducted cause I don't know how the food or drinks taste like.

Butter my butt and call me a biscuit. I can definitely recommend that you visit Black Rice. This place is the terrific. The Asion fusion Food is creative and very very tasty.I went with a group of friends and not one of the dishes was bad. We all ordered different dishes so we could try different things. It was a terrific night of tasting. The only negative was the lighting. It was too dark to read the menu but the wait staff came and explained what each dish was and was a font of information about the dishes. A great experience definitely a 9 out of 10 and fully recommend that you give this a try.

i played the pokies here... had great luck the first day. not so the next. place seemed clean and organized. staff presentation wasnt the best. mixed matched clothing. could be better in appearance with a generic black professional uniform for each staff member. food menu was standard - prices just above average 7/10

Great food, Standard service, Good atmosphere. Slightly better than your average local pub. Though some of the regular customers can get a bit roudy while the staff let it go on. However, if you mention anything to the staff they will definitely make your experience better.

Nice place. The tab felt private which is good. Parking can be a little annoying. Staff are ok, never talked to us though. Should pinch the manager at mayfield and you will make a killing haha

If your looking to chuck a cheeky $20 on the ponies, or are jonesing for a mid-morning drink then the Dark Horse is the spot for you. Highlights were the large deck where you can chain smoke while you pray your box trifecta comes in and the lack of judgement from staff while ordering a bourbon and coke at 10am.

If you're into sports then this is the place for you! Several large TV's are on the walls showing various sports stations. There's a TAB next door and a pokies room. There is a variety of food on offer, which is a notch above the usual pub food (my favourite is the toasted club sandwichs).
