Went here on good friday night for dinner - worth every cent! Ordered Chicken, steak & side of ribs all of which tasted amazing. Food was nice and hot to enjoy, flavours we’re mouthwatering! Couldn’t finish everything and still had left overs to take home. This will absolutely be me & my gfs go to spot from now on!

Legit BOMB as food 😍 had lunch with my sisters yesterday. Every single meal was BOMB and soooo hearty and full. We island girls we love our food. Good home delivered 💯 Worth every cent. To top it off service was 💯 joe warm greeting well he seated us all and the young woman who took our order forgot to ask her name 🤦🏽‍♀️ Honestly hands down made us feel welcomed ❤️ You guys ticked off all the boxes. Had birthday dinner, due to my limited hearing in both ears asked for a quiet table. On arrival we were shown to a room on the right hand side. Our party were the only diners in the room. Prior to arrival rang and asked about part payment of the bill with a prezzy card - no problem. Likewise one of our party requires gluten free food. There is a number of food options on the menu. For dessert no options on the menu, after discussions they advised they would make a gluten free dessert available. The phone call was with Louise who was most helpful. On the night, Ali looked after us very well, good beer/drink options and the food was very good. Thanks to 'the team' for making the evening stress free. Would have no hesitation in returning and will definitely do this.

Great experience. The food is superb and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was super friendly and always checked on us regardless of how busy it was. Child friendly as they have a play area + crayons and colouring activities.

Had dinner here on a Thursday night. Such lovely and friendly staff. Especially Allie thank you for being such an energetic and fun waiter/bartender! The whole vibe here was awesome! You have one nice side of the place to enjoy a nice meal which is where we sat. The other side has a lot more seating available to those who just want to drink and enjoy watching the footy. We all had the burgers and tenderloins and wow what a hit! Burgers were stacked and they were so good. We also had dessert omg the Apple rhubarb crumble, sticky toffee pudding and the dessert of the moment which was a cheesecake was all soo delicious and filling we couldn’t finish it sadly. But overall it is a great place to go to, huge outdoor area as well. Great music, good vibes and yummy food.

Came here for lunch with a collegue. The staff working here were super friendly, helpful and just had overall great service. The portions of the food are quite generous too! Just had a double cheeseburger and could hardly get to the coleslaw and chips it was served with! So definitely value for money here. Will hopefully be back on another lunch break! Also its a plus that in such a busy area they have off road parking.

We really enjoyed our tuna salad: it was fresh and delicious. It was probably the only choice for those who are interested in things on the healthier edge of the scale. On the other hand, if you want healthy food you probably shouldn't go to a gastropub.

Went here for a casual Sunday lunch. Very spacious, nice ambience, especially Lagaluvin lounge. Menu had good choices well described. My ploughmans was excellent generous portions and nicely balanced. Staff were friendly. Meals took a bit long to come out but we ordered just after a larger party. Parking available on site Update: went with larger group of us again for Sunday lunch again great food but ran out of ribs which was disappointing. Also took over 1hr for our mains to come out, not good enough

AMAZING AND WONDERFUL! It's a real Brewery with one Pub (and barbecue point). The beers are very nice, the food too. The menu of beer has frequently changed...perfect to try new flavors etc. The place is perfect to meet friends or just drinking.

They lost our credit card after they asked for one to set up a tab. To correct the inconvenience, they did give us some of our tab for free, but made it sound as if an additional round would be on them to apologise. Turns out that last round wasn't, so we ended up paying for a round of drinks we wouldn't have as we were keen to leave before we found out they had lost our card.

Great pub, part of a group of pubs all over Auckland. Always have different deals each day for food. Good entertainment in evenings. Food is good quality pub food, all your normal favourites plus some great local dishes. Good place for kids as nice kids menu. A few big tv's to watch sports on. Also has about 20 car parks so good for the area they are in.

Firstly we had amazing service from Chrissy, she is no doubt the best waitress you could hope for. The 2 main Pork dishes we had were phenomenal. Only little downside is there were so many kids running around making noise etc with control from parents.

My go to on a Wednesday night with a great pub quiz. Ambiance is great, they have the restaurant on one side and then the bar side which has big screens for sport. Over the last year the food and menu has improved and is now on par with other gastropubs. (It was dire a year a go).

The best kid friendly area that I've seen in a restaurant. Food is a bit overpriced but it's worth it if you go with kids as you can relax and stay for a while. Beautiful decoration, clean toilets, friendly staff.

Went with friends to the Good Home Mt Eden and found, not only the food very good, but the service excellent as well. From the seating (as requested for low chairs) and moving outside if the weather was warm, the staff were very attentive and the meals were delicious. The free parking next door was a bonus and all this was on a busy Sat afternoon. Definitely go again.

The Good Home staff, venue, drinks and food was absolutely amazing for my 21st party function! Stevie and Louise were fabulous with planning everything for my event and during the party we had the most amazing bar tenders Renee and Sharne (hope I spelt your names right!). All my guests raved about the food we selected and you guys had amazing vegetarian and vegan options! The DJ was a great guy who accepted my drunken song requests like a champ :) I had the most amazing night thanks to the fabulous hospitality of the Good Home, could not recommend these guys enough!!

We had a great time here with our friends. The atmosphere is viby and upbeat. Nice music but not overbearing so you can't have conversations. We had 3 platters which was def worth every cent - more than sufficient for 8 people. The drinks were affordable and service was great. All in all, would recommend.

Great place with wonderful atmosphere for lunch. It was a little hot inside, but that was probably because of the meat sweats. The pork ribs are to die for. It was so soft and just fell off the bone. I ate it with only a knife and fork. I was almost disappointed that I didnt get my hands dirty. Very well seasoned and served with some great fat chips. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 10/10 will go there again

We have been here a few times and have enjoyed the food. It was a game night and so it was lively, loud and buzzing. We ordered a plate of full ribs, Steak pie and Chicken burger. The ribs were delicious, the steak pie was really good but unfortunately the grilled Chicken burger was a disappointment. The chicken patty in the burger was very bland and dry. I have pointed this out to the person waiting at our table at the end of our evening. All in all it was a good evening though they need to work on ensuring that patties in their burgers are succulent and well-seasoned.

Beautiful decor, and clean presentation of the restaurant. However the food took way too long to come, e.g. 45 minutes for two plates of mushrooms on toast. We asked for a cold brew or iced coffee of some sort but this couldn't be accommodated so we just had water, their loss of circa $12. The meals were beautifully presented, and the other meals we saw coming out looked great and were of a good size. However, the creamy balsamic mushrooms were disappointing as there was more poached egg than mushrooms on the plate, after taking 45 minutes to come out and us being starving this was not cool, also the price tag of $36 for the two. No apology from the servers for the wait time either when delivered or when I mentioned it at the till, so unfortunately we decided not to return for dinner with the kids tonight as planned (we're staying nearby).

Stevie was very helpful with the planning process and giving us ideas on how best to use the space. The night itself was a great success. Everyone loved the food and the use of the jukebox was a hit. Nice place but the food was a bit average. We ordered the Guinness beef pie with seasonal veges. Peas and round cut carrot which was unseasoned and uninspired. The pie was enormous with soggy uncooked pastry on the bottom. The filling was way over salted and no Guinness flavors at all except salt. That left a bad taste I our mouth for ages after finishing the meal. Not interesting but had plenty of meat. The mash was not freshly made that day. It looked and tasted like it had been refrigerated. No one likes mash like that. Plus there was way too much of it. Pitty it was not as described in the menu.

This place looks great and there is a nice selection of beers and stuff on tap. The service by the staff was also pretty good. The only reason I give this a 3 instead of a different rating is due to the experience I had and the food. My table and I were seated by 1:05 and had ordered our drinks shortly after. It would be another 50 minutes before our food actually showed up however. When It finally did arrive some of the people in our party said it was cold. The rack of ribs that i had were sub par. Dont get me wrong, the ribs themselves were cooked perfectly, but the sauce that was labeled on top of them was quite sweet and overpowered the ribs flavour a bit. It tasted like ketchup someone had thrown some molasses in to change the flavour. So that want particularly nice to eat. The sale was nice though. All that being said the customer service was excellent and we were given a discount on our food because of how late/cold done of it was so credit where it's due. The customer service at the good home can't be faulted. However, i can't say I'd eat there again myself unless someone insisted. As a side note the beers on tap are pretty good.

I've been here a couple of times and it is one of my favourite places to meet up with friends as in the Mt Eden area. Consistent good food and service and at the ti.es I've been there was never any issues getting a table. Had the vegetable lasagne twice and both times it was delicious. They also serve The Ned Pinot Gris so that's an instant tick for me.

My first time at Good Home Mt Eden was such a positive experience. The food was delicious; big servings for small price. Service was great and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, but the best thing - the highlight of the night for me - the live entertainment. Two members of a trio cover band (ELEVATE) were AWESOME!! Had a great night! I would go back again and recommend it to family and friends (especially if ELEVATE are playing 😉)

They host a good “Believe it or Not” quiz night on Wednesdays... it’s a fun time but make sure you book in advance! They also do bingo on Mondays but it doesn’t get as busy. The house beer is cheap enough but the food seems a little over priced for mediocre pub grub.

Chicken burger is a good time although they are a bit stingey with the chips - 4-5 handcut chips with each burger is a bit on the cheap side. Otherwise, good place for a group meal and beer

Spacious and started to fill up around 4pm on a Saturday, and a solo live guitarist began. I ordered the Panhead APA and was disappointed. Maybe the glass had detergent residue, I'm not sure, but it was sour. We also shared the prime burger for lunch. Wasn't asked how we would like it done. Arrived with a cold, untoasted bun, overdone and dry, with a very artificial smoke flavour. Fat fried were good. It was cold outside, but warm and comfortable inside.
