Had a party upstairs it was 21st birthday with a perfect buffet meal at the party amazing food. The Venue is excellent for a private party and staff was helpful and everyone had an amazing night with DJ.

We hired the Nectar room upstairs for a last minute change of venue for a 21st party. It is an excellent venue, plenty of room and three different areas that can be used. Staff were excellent throughout, really helpful to make arrangements, very obliging on the night and I can't think of anything they could improve. Well done.

Excellent! The entry price on Wednesday for those who like to dance Salsa is only $10 and you still get a very large glass of beer. Beautiful, cheerful people, great location... I recommend it.

Delicious food and great service! We shared a number of the small shared plates, the fried chicken and salt & pepper calamari were stand outs.

Amazing stonegrill. Angus beef, lamb shoulder and smoked chicken. Beef and lamb are tender and juicy. Smoked chicken is full of flavor. Great customer service, quick and super friendly. Love it. Will definitely come back for good vibe and food.

I loved it, excellent environment! Awesome food and dance lessons on Wednesday are spectacular.

The Kingslander is always a good night. I go on Wednesdays for the salsa night and it is always a good crowd, good music and lots of salsa and bachata. They play a bit of kizomba, merengue and cumbia too.

Thursday open mic was great, with fantastic saxophone player Andrew Miller from Mema Wilda Band jumping in with many talented singers & musicians. Will be back again! Food & service all good too, and generally a nice vibe.

Music was too loud in the dining area. Salad was lovely but sadly would not come back due to being unable to speak or hear to our friends conversations

Classic old bar, if your going to an event at Eden Park or a just wanting to have a good time you can't go past this place. Plenty of beers on tap as well as all your favourite other drinks. Projector and TV screens scattered around the venue to watch the game.

The final of the Euros was great to watch here. The staff were really trying their best to serve so many people at once, so thanks to them! Unfortunately, some not so nice England fans thought it would be funny to throw coffee cups and swear at me for being one of the very few people supporting Italy. Other than that, it was a great venue!

We came with my friend. And the staff was friendly always check if everything is okay or if we need something. You have a pool table nice game and with funny rules . I take the chicken curry loved it .

Fantastic all you can eat ribs deal on Thursdays. Great value. So much food! Ribs are super tender and delicious too. You won't be disappointed.

Great spot for TV sports and special events, clean and tidy place, food menu ok, good place for a pre-drink before Eden park games.

Good Salsa, need some other latin genre as well, such as Kizomba, Bachata and Merengue

We were lucky to spot this hidden gem and had such a lovely experience here on mother's day last week,. A big shout out to Tanya and Ash who really warmed us with their bubbliness and hospitality. Definitely coming back again for the lovely service and the food!

Bachata on Monday evening was good. Entry level lesson and then social dance. Excellent location and lovely people. I hear the Wednesday salsa are very good also.

Went here to watch the Origin and can say this place provided mean vibes, very good tasting food and staff were super friendly even though they were all going for QLD! Up the blues! Lol Great venue and would definitely go back 👌🏽

Cool venue, little tired but odds school suburban pub. Service is your average pub service, bartender at the bar kind of thing. Fold is really good for the price. A good deal on Tuesdays, $15 for drink and cheeseburger and fries. A will go again when in the area.

Nice sports bar in Kingsland, they also have dance class on Wednesdays and all you can ear ribs on Thursday. Nice service, sometimes the staff not focusing on customers but talk to each others instead. The innovated dishes towards Asian cuisine is quite nice though. In general, a nice place to chill and watch sports after work.

Always great the cocktail bar upstairs is often quiet at the right times and very cosy and welcoming. Great food try the new menu! Often has good gigs on and thursday all you can eat ribs for $20 per person. Good both indoor space and outdoor. Dogs are welcome. Salsa night Wednesday great way to meet new people.

Very handy to transport and of course eden park and cafes and restaurants whether you like to pop in for a quick pint or a few chips or snacks or to meet up before the sx60 concert or cricket etc. Good place

very great deal on Thursday's all you can eat ribs & the open-mic gig. What I know is that food in all-you-can-eat buffets is usually of very low quality, the lowest (cheapest) one can find, but I was wrong.. or maybe they provide the best one. Love the garlic bread and the chippies, friendly staffs. I couldn't finish it so did the takeaway & they gave us extra ribs. Got my 1 month food-stock. :)

Great staff, great food, great atmosphere. Awesome venue to go and watch live events on the big screen or the smaller screen outside if you are a smoker. The patrons are all friendly and the beer is cold. What more can you ask for?

10mins walk from the famous Eden Park. Craft beer on tap and enjoyed a light snack. Great location to watch televised sport, esp rugby. Small outdoor drinking area on the footpath and another wine bar/club upstairs. We went at a quiet time, but I know the place goes off in the evenings.

Not a bad experience but food needs to be improved. My lamb rack came with a dark brown sauce which was tasteless and really didn't help anything on the plate. It would have been better not to include it.

Great place with fantastic bar staff. Even security was very professional. We had a farewell event here without much notice and they really went out of their way to make room for us and make us feel valued.

This place is a very quiet place to drink during the week. Possibly good for a large bunch of people as there are lots of parts to this bar, upstairs, down stairs, or to the side. The food is typical pub type food, nothing special but you cant beat hot chips or wedges when you have been drinking.

For a busy Friday night I couldn't complain. Food was good, great atmosphere, and a nice selection of beers.

It's not the cleanest place, uncleared tables when we arrived mid afternoon. Unlike too many Auckland establishments, they didn't seem locked into limited wine choices. Very good south Australian Melbec.

Always have a fantastic time here. Brilliant staff members and service. Love their food and options. Highly recommend to everyone to give this place a go and check out the cocktail bar upstairs.

Slow service. No other patrons to be seen in bar area, but still took over half an hour to bring very simple sharing platter to our table. They did try to make amends with 1 glass of wine for free. Didn't work. Very disappointed.

Rustic pub and restaurant well worth visiting. We attended a private family function with it's own bar. Tons of space to move around in. Snack foods were great.

Went for a beer after the cricket, service was fast, beer selection not to my taste. Band playing was Ok, some drunk falling over patrons without any spacial awareness but luckily not aggressive with it. Bathrooms were a state. But big thank you to the bouncers who took the time to check that everything was Ok for me when I left and waited outside while my boyfriend went to the toilet.

Amazing food, too much even. Very casual and great for groups. Top marks, we'll be back.

Great Food!!...Great Service!!...Great Place!! Try the Hot Grill Plates..Excellent value for money and soo filling and delicious. So far I have had the 400gm Prime Angus Rump....Just WOW... And the Prime Ribeye Bone in...is to die for!!! You need to get here!!!

Always good for some brews and a yarn particularly to watch a big game - handy to Eden Park but gets very very busy if there’s an event on. Easy to pop over though from the cricket if there’s a rain delay!

I'm a big fan of the kingslander. We come to the pub quiz every week, watch rugby and other sports here, and have been to many events at the nectar lounge upstairs. The food is great, beers are cold... can't complain

Foods are not that good and appearently the sound system is bad that so annoying on Wednesday nights. They should take into account!!!

Every Friday apparently they bring in the top rated local talent, and glad they did bc they brought the jazz infused Bad Apples to the stage. Some other good acts too. Most tap choices are only Monteith's. Got some basic whiskey/Irish whiskey bottles for decent price. Couches and other seating available.

Great afternoon but ran out of house beer early and felt like they took advantage of us well we were drunk and made us pay for more expensive beer.

A nice, large pub with a good atmosphere. We went for the all you can eat ribs night. Collectively agreed that the ribs were amazing, and the sides as well!

Casual slightly upper market bar for sports and meals. Comfy with fireplace and an array of seating. Has pool table and darts board.

(Translated) I went to this place on recommendation, we went very early and it was empty, it has a lot of space, and Arcade machines that I hadn't seen for years, it was a lot of fun to play "Street fighter" again, the attention is really good, we had a great service. The food is excellent, the meat is soft, the bone comes off, and the brisket can be cut with a fork, the cuts of meat are exquisite but ask for the gravy separately. The beer is delicious, it is a great experience to eat here, they have a children's menu and they give them a little gift bag to entertain them, I highly recommend this place. (Original) Fui a este lugar por recomendacion, fuimos muy temprano y estaba vacío, tiene mucho espacio, y maquinas Árcade qué tenia años que no veía, fue muy divertido volver a jugar "Street fighter", la atención es muy buena la verdad, tuvimos un gran servicio. La comida es excelente la carne es suave, se desprende el hueso, y el brisket se puede cortar con el tenedor, los cortes de carne son exquisitos pero pidan el gravy aparte. La cerveza es deliciosa, es una gran experiencia el comer aquí, tienen un menú para niños y les dan una pequeña bolsa de regalo para entretenerlos, la vdd recomiendo ampliamente este lugar.
