A lovely lady served us. She was very kind and helped me decide what to eat as I am a picestarian.

Recently celebrated a 30th at the Zookeepers rooftop bar & everything was a solid 10/10. Staff very friendly and welcoming. All our guests could not stop complementing the food that was served ! Not only was the presentation of it excellent but it tasted good too. thank you chef. Big thank you to our two bartenders May & Fred. & lastly Thank you Lisa ! For making sure we were well looked after. Like they say if the management is good the team is good ! Thank you to the team that served us on this evening. Rooftop bar: Honestly this room saves you from decorating the place is already well set up. Cleanliness 10/10 Service 10/10 Worth your $? YES Cheers We will be back again

Great vibe! However the food leaves something to be desired. Live music, great staff. Just food could be a lot better!

Food was absolutely fantastic, steak cooked perfectly, perhaps a little too much garlic butter but better more than less. The chicken burger was sizable, and interesting style of fried but tasty none the less. With the dessert option chosen a brownie, with chocolate mousse and chocolate ice cream... the perfect level of chocolate overload. The only thing holding them back from five stars was the service was a bit haphazard. The extremely helpful bar manager had to take our order, our server never appeared and the food was quite slow... But if it takes that time to make it taste as good as it did I am glad we waited patiently.

Our dining experience was enhanced tonight thanks to our amazing waitress "Emma" . She was attentive, smiling and obviously takes her job seriously, her smile was lovely and she seemed a very happy soul. Thank you Emma. We'll be asking for Emma when we go back. The food tonight was fabulous, a plentiful bowl of caesar salad with lots of chicken and a medium sirloin which was fantastic and such a nice change to have potatoes instead of chips. Thanks everyone :-)

Was good getting back to bit bit of Normality again, but safely. May was the highlight of my first time back visit, with so much energy and customer service was the best I had ever seen. She was all over at any given time. Wow. Keep up the good work May. The food was good. Had fish and chips. I think there should be reviewed by others, think the dish lacked a bit of improvement, 4 star the salad on the dish was the winner. But that’s my opinion. The salt and pepper Squid 5 starl May 6 star.👏

Food was amazing and portions were just right! Although we only ordered the Margherita pizza and buttermilk fried chicken, we just managed to finish it. Cocktails were yummy too.

Amazing venue. Hosted my sisters 21st in 13th of May. Harrison and Stella were the best bartenders! they were so friendly and helpful throughout the whole night!

Pretty sweet spot but one of the bar lady's wasn't very fun. Also don't recommend doing the bottomless fried chicken and beers at this location because they suck at hosting it. Otherwise it's a good spot.

Good atmosphere to watch rugby at on a Saturday night. Staff frequently advised us on wait times for food and drinks. Food was all consistently delicious and well-made.

Great place to have a little cosy birthday dinner. There is an upstairs for functions or parties, which is separated from the public, along with a play space on the side to chill and sit on beanbags and play some giant connect 4. If you're looking to catch some sports games while snacking and drinking a few drinks with the boys, there are a few TVs around so you won't miss a moment. The food here is pretty good too, as you would expect from any bar. Good portion sized meals and taste great! Would recommend.

Wish they had some affordable no carb options for cold evenings. Chef did gd giving me steak, egg and bok choy though yummy. But 50 bucks? Better off Commercial Bay.

Great place, spacious, close to supermarket and parking, huge screen, gaming, outdoor sitting etc etc only problem beers are $10 glass and $8 nearby bars

For a Saturday brunch we ended up at The Zookeepers Son in Royal Oak. Service was great, prompt and we were ordered within minutes. The interior of this gastropub is stunning and very stylish with multi level seating. We ordered spicy cauliflower with Cajun aioli, baby beetroot salad with grilled chicken, chicken schnitzel with slaw and beer battered fries and papaya marinated calamari with chips. Our meals were absolutely delicious and plates were cleaned up. Highly recommended!

Food, service and drinks were soooo good! We had the Poutine and Harissa Lamb for our mains and we had the Nautica, Espresso Martini, Vodka Daisy and Old Fashioned cocktails - all were phenomenal and brought out in such a timely manner too. Perfect for a meal before going to the Stardome, definitely will be coming back

Nice place to hangout with friends or team. Spacious and good vibe. The food was great and the price is reasonable. Very few options for vegetarians. Not really busy in the daytime. The staffs were good and professional. There is car park behind the property and plenty of off-street parking nearby.

Great staff, nice food and selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from. We had burgers with beer battered fried. Very nice food. Also our waitress Theana was helpful, fast and efficient. Thanks for a great experience.

Have dropped in more than a couple of times to share a beer, food and laughs. On all occasions I have not been disappointed. Friendly staff, active, ready and willing with service. Choice variety of tap beers, food is fresh, pork ribs just fall off the bone as it should, margarita pizza is tasty. Plenty of seating indoor and out, clean facilities, pool table and a few pokie machines if its your cuppa. All in all happy to recommend.

Love the decor at the restuarant. Meals were great in this instance. Caramalised onion garlic bread 'best starter'. Beer batter fries 'get it'. Thai salad 'yum', but more noodles than salad. House slaw 'love it'. Buffalo wings 'tasty but a little dry' good if you like spicy - 1.00pm, 27.07.17.

I came here for a pub quiz not too long ago. The food specials are great and delicious. The atmosphere is quite friendly and open. We had a good time and would definitely come back in the future.

Was a great night at the Zookeepers. Service was fantastic, best we've either had. Food was delicious, Calamari entree, Buttermilk fried chicken burger OMG best I've had. Desserts excellent strawberry jam jars Yum!!!

Called in for lunch on Saturday. Lovely tall pint of Tiger, great food from the menu. Staff are fantastic. Food came out quick and was great 👍

A completely reasonable pub with gastropub aspirations. They do a reasonable range of quality bistro food, $22 Monteiths jugs (good value, at the time of writing!), and a friendly service vibe. Parking can be a bit tricky when they're busy, and all the sport on TV can mess a bit with the ambience when they're trying to pretend to be a restaurant, but the food is good value, the alcohol is good value, and the place is fun. So what the hell. Enjoy it for what it is. It does, unfortunately, have a pokies room straight off the main restaurant/bar area. This may give families a reason to ask for a table a bit further away, but there you go.

Went for bottomless chicken and waffles, Harry was our waiter. He was so patient, kind and kept topping us up throughout the night! I’d definitely recommend!!

Love the place, fresh cool beer, mussels, pork belly and chips, nothing wrong for a thirsty man in summer time. I come here at least twice a week now.

Steak is pretty good, but fries was a bit disappointing, not very fried and still soft in the inside but that might just be my preference that I like it extra crispy

Always been a popular watering-hole, with great food. Road-front garden bar. Unusually quiet due to covid.

Went here to watch the afternoon game. Since last time here they have added a roof top bar. Very nice addition. Loved the battered fried.

First time here, came for the bottomless Prosecco. My valentines was made extra special, not just from the food and company but by the great service Sina provided. Loved the little touches of a rose and choccies. Thanks Zookeepers! I will be back xx

I held an event here in the Rooftop Terrace and honestly I was so happy with everything - right from the planning and the lovely private room, to the food that was served to my guests! Huge shout out to Lisa for being so professional and understanding of all my needs right from the start. It was her planning that truly made my event so successful! Also want to commend the chefs for the beautiful food that night! And a big thank you to both Paige and Benjamin for their excellent service that night! Our guests were well looked after and we had the best night because of them! The excellent staff and their excellent service deserves an excellent review. Will absolutely be booking here again for my next event! Thank you The Zookeepers’ Son!

It's a decent local pub. A nice spot to meet friends for a pint

For 20$ I doubt u will find much better than this delicious moist steak ! Would highly recommend going on Wednesday as its 20 $ steak night and is a great bargain ! Female Staff are also very easy on the eye so will make the wait a lot more tolerable than other establishments.

Delicious chicken mango salad, lady at the counter didnt tell us that you could smoke upstairs and only found out when we left. Nice place

One of the best bar in auckland... live music, good lighting and very friendly customer service... strongly like the fondness of staff...nice setup of bar, bar staff are well knowledgeable... 5 star guys.

My friends and I had a great time when we came for the bottomless chicken and waffles. The food was great and came out very quickly and our server, Harry, was a superstar. He was really onto it and he was good to have a laugh with. 😊 he gets 5 stars. However we did notice in the last 45 minutes that Harry stopped checking on us as often. I don’t think it was any fault of his own, he was running around serving heaps of tables. He was definitely stretched to thin. It would pay to have an extra waiter on so he doesn’t need to run around like a headless chicken. We were also really bothered by the volume of the TV. We were sat in the far corner of the restaurant and I found myself having to nearly shout at my friends to be heard. Just something to keep in mind 👍🏻

We hired the Garden Bar for an event with circa 60 people and it was amazing. Juan and Ben hosted us and were so helpful, as well as Lisa who was at every beckon call of mine leading up to the day. The space was perfect, and had everything we needed. Everyone said they had brilliant time and I cant thank Lisa and the team enough for everything. 10/10

Big ups to Roma! She did an absolutely fabulous job looking after our tables when we were there for my sister birthday lunch. Food was amazing portions were huge. Everyone loved it. Great atmosphere and great for the family and kids too. Thank you Zookeepers Son would definitely return. And again a massive shout out to ROMA.

The wings on Friday are the perfect end to the week. Blue cheese sauce accompaniment is back after having gone missing for a long time. Most notably the staff are lovely. Really makes it feel like home, the way they treat you. Stand out characters for me were May and Kayla, whose hospitality and friendliness are a particular highlight.

I had my 21st birthday party in the Rooftop Garden Terrace. This venue is beautiful and spacious, and the roof is fully retractable, which was perfect for the warm summer evening that my event was held on! From start to finish, the team at The Zookeeper’s Son provided outstanding service. Preeti was instrumental in planning the event - promptly and patiently answering numerous emails and phone calls. We came by earlier in the day to set up decorations and the staff kindly checked up on us regularly. Throughout the night, food platters were brought out on time and were very well presented. Everything was absolutely delicious (my guests complimented the food during the party and the following weeks too!). I appreciate that they catered to all dietary requirements and provided various vegan options! Benjamin and Catherine were so friendly and delivered exceptional all-around service, managing the bar and ensuring that everything was running smoothly, so I didn’t need to worry about a thing! Thank you Preeti, Benjamin, Catherine, and rest of the team at the Zookeeper’s Son for making my 21st birthday celebration truly memorable. I would highly recommend booking your next event here!

Had our work Xmas party here, it was amazing! Food was excellent and really quick, and considering how busy they were this was super impressive! The star for us was our waitress May though, she was so lovely, helpful and efficient, what an absolute legend who made our work function amazing! Thanks so much to May, Lisa and the rest of the team at the Zookeepers, we’ll be back!

This place is spacious with big screens which is the perfect venue to watch sport matches. We were greeted by lovely staff. We had a delicious seafood chowder and a generous burger. Both dishes were very yummy, the staff is very attentive. The place is good for chilling out. Suitable for having a couple of drinks and relaxing.

Music is far too loud when there are less than 12 people there. There were over 30 people and within 15 minutes of the band starting at least 20 had left. The management did not think it was a problem. Average at best.

My heart was warmed today when visiting Zoos for the UFC, despite it being packed to the rafters with happy patrons, the team, with special mention to Juan and Alex, went above and beyond to help someone that needed some extra attention. So fantastic that places like this exist and can cater to people from all walks of life. Well done team Zoos and Thank you for another great day.

Great place for drinking and relaxing on Sunday, they have got play station for kids as well.

Me an my partner came in and had the Fried squid and mussels which was amazing service Was excellent and we felt like we were taken care of it wasn’t too busy but was catered for throughout the night by our lovely waiter Harry thank you for a great night will definitely return :)

The atmosphere was very cozy on the second floor albeit rowdy downstairs. Customer service was superb. Waitress were nice and very helpful and also quite attractive. Food was delicious but wasn't enough to satisfy my appetite. It's like a sexy older woman who just teases you but doesn't give you what you want. Overall, a good place for a feed and enjoying good company.

5 stars for staff especially Nadia who looked after us at the Bubbles Bottoms and Bites event, which was a lot of fun and laughter. The only downside which brought this rating to a 4, was they hadn't prepared any Gluten free pizza option, though they did make on request but we had to pay full price for it.

What a great space! I was in there the other night and it was very busy. The staff were doing a fantastic job looking after everyone. I met Lisa the manager who was super friendly and accommodating . I will definitely be back. Do you guys do anything special for State of Origin or Warriors home games? Just curious as there's nowhere decent to go these days.

We had the rooftop function room, the room was average at best, there was no air conditioning or fans so was very hot and stuffy. The food was ok but nothing to rave about. The rest was typical pub priced drinks - so nothing special. I personally wouldn't recommend hiring the function room unless they make it more attractive. The bar itself is cool, busy with patrons, and the staff are super friendly. Just a shame the function room was a let down.

Pool table and upstairs balcony were the highlights. Very yummy dessert

Great place for a 21st, hiring the upstairs area. Have had plenty of Friday night drinks there watching the sport and the staff are great. In terms of bar prices, it is pretty standard. Missing out on 5 stars because there are cheaper bars in the area (Student here) but nonetheless, it is always our number 1 spot for the atmosphere.

Had a fantastic work night out at Tuesdays quiz, Lisa's team did an amazing job of looking after us with May taking the helm and Roma and Boston keeping us fed and watered! Thanks team Zoos, we will be back to see your wonderful, welcoming faces again!

Went in for dinner on Tuesday night - it was busy as it was quiz night, so it took a while for drinks and food to come out - that is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. However, the service was excellent. Our server, Sina, was friendly and attentive. She apologised when there were delays and kept us updated on our order, so we were never left feeling forgotten about. We had the roast carving board to share - Lamb, summer veges, gravy, mint jelly - so good! The lamb was falling apart tender and it was easily enough to feed 3-4 people. Will definitely be back!

Recently held our sons 21st at the rooftop bar. Such a fantastic evening, organised by Preeti and then managed by the friendly Will on the night. So accommodating, professional and pleasant. A great atmosphere throughout the club, excellent food, great range of drinks. I can't speak highly enough. Everyone was well impressed with the venue. Thank you for such a lovely evening

Great back room available to book for functions. Wish they had a separate drink menu for the space though because there were quite a few times they had to run down to the main bar for drinks, but still great service.

Would have been 3-3.5 star if not for friendly and considerate service. Went for pub quiz and some dinner (quiz was fun and interesting, definitely aimed at 40+ generations, and dragged on a bit). Most of us ordered pizza, and they could have been great. The prosciutto was very sparse on two of them, and they all came out cold. Pasta was reported as being nice. When the waiter came to check how things were we smiled and said great thanks, but when I paid I did respond to the same question with good except that the pizzas were cold and he was genuinely concerned verging on annoyed with whatever had caused that (as the pizzas were the last food items to come out). Great range of beverages, some interesting taps (not 'craft'), and unique decor. There is also a mezzanine which would be quite cool to sit up on for dinner and observe the happenings below. We will try again :)

Wife and I had the bottomless chicken and waffles, we lasted 1 hour but ate like Kings and Queens.. Excellent flavour, well done!!

A bit of a mixed review here. The big screens for the sporting events are a good size and well placed, making it pretty easy to view from most vantage points. They have good variety of beers on tap, and the bar food looks pretty good, and the beer batter fries are definitely moreish. What let them down on our visit was their coffee making skills. We ordered a long black, topped up with milk, and a cappuccino, and received the long black, with no milk, and a mochaccino. Asked for some sugar sticks, and received artificial sweetener, but nothing to stir it in with. I could only stomach a couple of mouthfuls, before giving up and ordering a beer.

My daughter celebrated her 5th birthday party at this restaurant last week (14th March) - what an amazing team they have!!. Preeti went an extra mile in helping us booked the venue and in organising our food menu.. It was indeed hassle free. Also the staff who looked after us during the event was awesome, (I think her name is Sian) she is very helpful and looked after our guests very well and made sure that the food was served on time. Our guests really love the Rooftop Bar, they are impressed how beautiful that area is and they enjoyed the food. The food were delicious and cooked beautifully.. My daughter had an amazing birthday! Thanks to the team..

Beer battered fries! Absolutely incredible! I've been here for functions, for social catch ups and just a quiet drink with mates. It's such a great spot to unwind and enjoy a bit of time out while the world continues to revolve outside. Thoroughly enjoyed a hot, mulled cider in winter (that's going back a few years now!). Definitely recommend you pop along a see what's going on :)

An amazing venue to remember an engagement party!!! Preeti & Monique were very helpful organising our event beforehand and on the day! All our needs were looked after and our guests welcomed by Catherine & Sally!!! Plenty of space for our big number of guests, good food and lots of drink for all! A very aesthetically pleasing venue! A great day had by all and very happy with how it turned out!

We had a lovely Mother's Day lunch today thanks to the friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure our experience was a good one. Mums got free brownie and ice cream desserts, and tulip flowers to take home. Great staff, good service, and the food was yummier than expected. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family. Well done!

Lisa, Preeti and the team were amazing. They accommodated our quite unusual needs in their stride, helpfully, and with a smile. The service was great, the food (for 35) was amazing, and the venue is excellent. Two thumbs up - would dine again.

We loved our lunch today! Top service from John, food was great and the kids enjoyed the movie in the play area. Made for peaceful uninterrupted conversation and drinks for us parents. Will definitely come back.

Great food. Best beer batter fries around these parts. Great Pizzas, Burgers and more traditional meals. Only draw back is you have to work pretty hard to get attention from the staff sometimes. Food is always delivered promptly once ordered, but they’re not good at catching and seating and offering you menus when you enter. Chase them though, the beer batter fries are worth it.

Pretty good food but a bit undercooked roast veggies and they charge extra for added items but don’t adjust when items are removed. Not enough haloumi in the salad. Poor wifi. Still, a pleasant meal with the other elements nicely done. Good selection of wines and lovely staff and environs

Easy place to catch up with friends. slightly disappointed at the bar tending skill set with cocktails, Jacob however was a great waiter and was very attentive.

Great service, a wide selection of food and drink and a fine atmosphere. The main drawbacks are when they have live music - it's far far too loud (I could just be getting old). You can't escape it because even if you sit outside, they have speakers on the walls there too. Also the kids area - great that they have one - but it's pretty ordinary. Should also mention their rewards program is good value too

My wife and I go to the zookeeper's son often. It's a vibrant pub and great restaurant. It's not somewhere to go for a cheap meal, but the food is well worth the price. They serve delicate yet amazing entrees, and follow this up with hearty mains. It being a pub means they have a great selection of drinks, but the pub is a happening place with lots of events during the year. They have quiz night every Tuesday, live music at the weeks end, along with special concerts, and even a stand-up comedy night. This is the pulsing heart of Royal Oak, and we'll worth a visit if you're in the area.

I had my 70th birthday celebration in the Rooftop Garden Terrace on Saturday night. We had welcome bubbles and platters, followed by a sumptuous buffet dinner (Feasting Menu). The food was delicious, and beautifully presented. Right from the start Preeti gave us every confidence that our special requests would be provided - and they were! On the night May, Lisa and Sian did a great job to ensure everyone was well 'fed and watered'; also ?Sam, the Security guy. They were all friendly towards us and our guests. Just one little thing that could be improved - better lighting over the buffet table. The ambience in the room was fantastic, but a little dark to see what you were dishing up! Otherwise 10/10! One of my favourite pubs in the inner suburbs of Auckland. Great music, decent food and a good selection of drinks. Staff is very friendly and the whole place is cosy, even outside thanks to the electric space heaters!

What a fantastic night we had celebrating our wedding at the Zoo Keepers son! The Rooftop bar was beautiful and the staff were very helpful! Great communication by Preeti and exceptional customer service from Lisa who went above and beyond to make our day incredible!

This is your average pub. At times it gets very busy specially friday evenings. Herein mostly workers wind down after a weeks/ days work. They drinks are certainly over priced for the location and the ambiance it has to offer. It enjoys local patronage and always serve with a smile so that keeps me going back to this place again.

Not many bars around the area so this was a great find. Staff super friendly and helped save money buy offering us a deal we were not aware of. Quirky decor and nice little balcony upstairs. Also has a kids corner where they can play with toys or watch netflix

A nice big screen to watch sports on, friendly staff. Extra charge is you pay by credit card, made the experience a bit disappointing. If they had cut price food and beer I could accept a credit card charge, but well their prices are definitely not cheap, quite the opposite really.

Love this place, the food is amazing and is reasonably priced. I would recommend the buffalo wings if your going for something Spicy.

If you're looking for a quiet cosy dinner, don't go in Tuesday's - quiz night goes off! 😂😂😂 We learned this the hard way but it was still an enjoyable pub meal with friendly and attentive service.

I had my BIG party at the Rooftop Bar with over 100 people. The staff were efficient, considerate, mindful , well organised and planned. The Bar tab was managed with efficiency and consideration. The food - which was delicious- was delivered at selected , well managed times throughout the evening, to cater for friends hunger needs and to work around speeches and dancing. The Birthday Cake was stored in the chiller and the leftover cake was stored in the fridge until the next day. The staff were helpful when family were setting up posters and photos. There were facilities for internet connections and microphones. In all the evening was a HUGE SUCCESS. Friends and family made so many positive comments about the venture, the food, the facilities, the choice of beverages and the amazing staff efforts to make our night amazing. I celebrated my 50th recently and booked the mezzanine level, was a great evening, area was perfect. In particular a big thanks to Grace who was our server on the night she did an awesome job, and to Preeti who liaised with me leading up to the night.

Food was delicious and affordable, $87 for 2 seafood chowders, 1 cheese bacon wedges, 1 chips with Alioli dip, 1 flat garlic pizza and 4 drinks, atmosphere is inviting and staff very welcoming. I will visit again but not sit under balcony as smokers show no respect and throw cigarettes over balcony landing in my drink hence the 4 stars and not 5.

Went here for an event on the mezzanine, food and drinks were good, staff were friendly. The issue was the mezzanine lacked sound isolation, the noise from the bar below was very loud and made something like speeches very difficult to hear. Cool vibe though

Nice airy pub with decent service. Open on public holidays some without surcharge. It's quite a large establishment with outdoor seating and an upstairs. The food is average and the service staff is friendly.

I have always found the food ok here, a little overpriced but there are daily specials. Other patrons always seem happy. The place has a certain atmosphere and obviously has its regulars. For me it is a little too loud for any conversation however it is a favourite dine in venue for my partner.

I recently hosted a 30th birthday at the rooftop bar and it was amazing! Xanthe was very helpful with the organising and the night was just care free which is what I wanted. Jess who looked after us for the night was really great with our guests and it was nice that she was following up with me throughout the night to make sure everything was alright. This was my first time at The Zookeepers Son and it will definitely will not be my last! I highly recommend 😊

Thank you to all your friendly staff - my entire friends/family haven't stopped talking about the party - the rooftop bar was a perfect venue for a Gatsby Party. The food was great, although the Pav was a crowd divider which didn't matter as we had cake.

Well the place was good . Comfortable enviroment and good staff . The only thing that i didnt like was the slow serving speed . I just order two tap beers and wedges which i got 25 min. Rest everything was good . Good parking space behind the place.

I hosted my baby shower at Zookeepers Son and was not disappointed. We hired half of the gorgeous Rooftop Bar for a really reasonable price, had our own bar tender with great bar snacks to feed our guests and ended up moving downstairs after the alloted time to mingle in the vibe of the normal Saturday night crowd which was a good time with the league & rugby on for viewing pleasure. The staff and Xanthe, the event manager, were super helpful, effecient communicators and made me feel looked after and calm.

Zookeepers is hands down amazing!!! You have to try the Southern Chicken👌 We had our wedding reception at Zookeepers last Saturday in the Rooftop Garden Terrace. Everyone of our guests was complimenting us on how awesome the food was, the location and the staff. Xanthe, Zookeepers Event Coordinator, really helped us plan out everything to make it so much easier for us, she was fantastic with communication, fast and efficient with any ideas we had and helped us find solutions with the rainy weather. Thank you Xanthe for helping take the stress off when it came to our wedding! All the other staff were also great. Making sure guests had enough to eat, drink and cleared away plates after dinner efficiently. I have only good things to say and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an event venue with great food, attentive staff, on site parking, and amazing decor. They have options to help suit your budget with plenty of food so people dont leave hungry. Our guests even were able to take food home for the next day. We choose the Zookeepers Son for our wedding reception for its amazing roof top garden bar! The beautiful greenery and retractable roof stood out for us and made our day that little bit different! Xanthe was incredible from the beginning to the very end, helping to organise everything and catering to every little personal touch we wanted to add. The whole team had awesome communication and we’re all really easy and friendly to deal with. The food was delicious and not over prised at all, we went for the feastig platter option which was perfect and resembled every table having a sit down family meal. Knowing that Xanthe and her team were setting everything up for us and decorating the space made us really relaxed on the day so we could enjoy everything else. It's okay, i don't mind paying 3$ for a game of pool. But the table was in a rough condition. For 3$ a game i would expect a black 8 ball instead of a green one that had the number crossed out.

Handy place to visit for a meal and a beer. They always seem understaffed though. The wait for service is a bit long both at the table and at the bar.

Monday lunch. Quiet and peaceful. Very nice caesar salad. Generous sized meals and minimal waiting.

Pretty quiet on a Saturday and no drinks are allowed outside after 11. Good food and good for a couple of lazy quiet drinks, the live music is good.

The upstairs area is amazing brilliant for a private party the bar itself is cool and bar staff are really helpful

Great layout with quiet corners as well we dining area down by the bar. Live music on selected nights and weekends.

Upstairs bar is nice. Downstairs not so much...the food is good and the drinks ain't cheap.

Nice looking inside. Gets busy on a Friday afternoon. Business, working, tradies, housewives. All types are here. Abit noisy at times as it is on the mIn road.

Always enjoy going there for dinner, until last visit steak eas cold compared to price, maybe was not a good day for the chef, i'll still go there

Two man band on the night we went easy laid back music to suit theatmosphere, not crowded which was a bonus.
