A. V.Great place for a sit down and yarn with your mates over a pint of beer. They've got a great variety of tap beers and will likely always have something on tap that you'll like. There's usually even a couple of ciders too!

B. U.Stopped by for one of the fresh hop beers event in Auckland. We came here since they were one of the few bars that were participating. It is located between Queen and High Street on Vulcan lane.
Friendly service and they do have small bites and burgers available. The buttermilk fried chicken was nuggets of chicken served with BBQ sauce.
Fairly small pub with seating both inside and out.
M. S.Randomly stopped here for a few pints while exploring Auckland; friendly bartenders, great selection of awesome beers, decent prices, staff was constantly picking up glasses and keeping tables clear, and the food ain’t bad for a pub. We ended up coming back a couple more times, especially for the red ipa they had on tap.
Place gets quite busy after work hours, good loud bustling vibe. Recommended.
T. D.Vulcan Lane, The iconic place to be for quick lunch or a cigarette under the tree. You can find burger restaurant, Japanese restaurant in a few pubs here. There are seven public benches What are you to sit down and relax. One thing I notice is that the building has the classic look and design from the early 1930’s - Greek triangles and Roman columns architectural design style.

F. G.Never seen a place with such a huge selection of craft beer and good food at the same time. The staff helps you finding the perfect beer for you and they also have a nice terrace to enjoy the weather and people walking by. Definitely can recommend this place and would go there again.
J. s.Went to try their infamous pie- and a wee beer. Couldn't believe the queue standing in the rain waiting for the door to open. The pie is .... yummy/outstanding... was not disappointed when we got in BUT you have to be early as they sell out very quickly.
