This place was positively pumping when we turned up Friday night. Staff were great even though they were under pressure. We had booked ahead and lucky that we did as most of the tables were taken. The servings were huge. Absolutely huge. And we didn't expect it. Plus quite delicious 😋

Nice atmosphere and sunny spot when it’s out. Pub style, good food and regular beer choices. Have their own in house brew which is a goof lager option.

We went for a drink but decided to eat here also. Friendly genuine staff, great service and food really tasty. Around $32 for a meal. Our last dining out meal on our holiday. Nice finish to our trip.

We were there on Friday for lunch and was such great service. Great fish and chips and the berrie white chocolate cheesecake was so delicious.

Great location inside and out. Burger was hot favorite, juicy and full of flavor. Service was excellent. Lost 1 star for the fish it was tough and chewy with a texture like chicken not fish. Will visit again to try other items.

Went here for lunch with family. Very spacious inside. Not a bad place. Plenty to choose from on the menu and the food was ok. Very nice fries. A bit of a wait for the food even with it not looking very busy. I would return again for drinks and sides, as it seemed to cater more to the bar side of things, but probably not for a full meal.

Friendly staff, good meals, relaxed atmosphere and plenty of choices in seating styles and areas.

Pub grub that has gone up market. Hearty portions of tasty food. However they need to rethink their gluten free options. The friendly and helpful staff would benefit from some training on how to mix ups.

Lovely to sit outside on the hot day. Good choices on menu. Food served in good time and attractively presented. We'll return!

Probably the best service we have ever had! We went for our wedding anniversary and the young lady serving us (who's name I stupidly forgot to get, long hair and glasses) was an absolute gem! Excellent food, but the service from both her and the other staff really made our meal out that bit more special. We will definitely be back!

Pork belly was great. A very enjoyable evening with a great group of Aorangi Eagles.

A great pub with a good atmosphere, the food is fantastic and always a good sigh when it’s rammed with the locals! Well worth a stop when passing through or if in town for longer.

Wow. What an awesome place. Big screens inside and out. Had the pleasure of our Swedish Frankie service for the night. Watched her over couple of hours making drinks with an eye for detail. Amazing service. Girl you need a pay rise. Will definitely be back for your service. AWESOME. XX

9/2/21.(Visitor's) From the moment we stepped foot inside this awesome Bar & Grill was amazing. Food was beyond words apart from bloody amazing. Service is the best we had in a long time from a restaurant. We both had steak and it was cooked to perfection with 1 rare and 1 medium rare. Shared the chicken wings with the bourbon BBQ sauce was just yummy.( had to get a doggie bag for these) Well done to every one. Will be back one day.

Good atmosphere and welcoming staff. Food was great and tables were comfortable. Though quiz night was abit loud. Its a commuinty pub, so embrace that. Unless you join in one the fun.

Nice selection of beers on tap. Food is at a decent price. Reccomend the fried chicken. Staff were friendly, even though I had to return food with it being too spicy they offered me milk an gave me a free beer as an apology.

Always great service here. Good variety of tap beers and a great wine list. Food is delicious, the menu has a range of tasty small dishes and satisfying mains with generous portions.

Outstanding food, fried chicken was amazing, fresh pesto with garlic bread clearly just made, pork belly delightful, burger fantastic. Staff great, house IPA and sav both super drinkable. Wish we could eat here every week!

First rate. Highly recommended. Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff, great beer and wine selection. Lamb salad was stellar and burger was huge and delicious. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Blenheim this is it.

Perfectly fine family bar. Good menu, plenty of beer choice, and excellent bar service (gave us tasters and guided my brother through the Kiwi beers they have). Worthy of a second visit to have food ... discovering what that's like in a few minutes. Oh, and they definitely have live music as two guitar stands and speakers are all setup to rock the clientele.

I looked around Blenheim to find the busiest pub Friday afternoon and this place seemed to have the most people so I went in. It was busy with after work groups but also several diners. The decor was nice and newish with lots of timber furniture. I ordered a drink and like most NZ drinking establishments they had a heap of beers that I have never heard of before. I usually order an IPA. The drink was $12, which I consider an outrageous price for a beer but this is an average price in NZ. I sat inside at a bar like table as there were no free small tables.the people next to me were loud but the establishment was generally low in volume and I did notice any music playing and no band. There were two outdoor seating areas. One on the veranda I think it was a smoking area. The other outdoor area was grass with a few tables and no roof. Overall a pleasant pub, worth visiting.

I went there twice when I was in Blenheim and received excellent service. Food and drinks were great, and the staff are so friendly :)

A wonderful place with a relaxed atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the half a dozen times I've been there already. Good selection of beverages and I really enjoyed my meals Ive eaten there. Has an awesome outdoor area on those hot summer days as well.

Staff great and glad to see they had a band last night just wish the band had started playing earlier 9pm was a bit late for a blues band to start.

Sat down with drinks at a table then told 10mins later the table was reserved. Very busy place but poor service.

Charming bar with beautiful and quirky interior. Impressive selection of wine and craft beers, friendly staff and very generous and tasty meals. Had a great time relaxing by the open fire here.

Went in here for a drink on a quiet Sunday night, and maybe some food. Good selection of entry level craft beer, but sat there with an empty glass for about 15 minutes with no service - to be asked if I need a menu or another drink would be nice. Wandered out again with no staff making eye contact. And please, playing slightly less intrusive fast paced music, to turn tables, would be really nice.

I had THE BEST pasta of the day here (fish and capers) on my birthday last Friday night. So good we went back on the Monday for round two but unfortunately it was closed😭😭 also service was amazing, friendly staff with quick service.

Went to lunch today with my mother and fiancé. Great service from both Ladies Hannah and her co worker. Fantastic assortment of food on the menu, it was nice to see different food on the menu that other places don't have. 5 star service and food.

Great spot for drinks and food with friends after work or evenings. Modern bar grill with a good variety of options for all. I organised a surprise party here and the staff were very accommodating. Compared to most other bar/grills in NZ, they do offer service as best as they can (but common practice in NZ is to get drinks from the bar yourself, order from the bar, pay at the counter - not common practice to deliver a bill to the table). These guys exceeded the standard practice of NZ service for our party. Good for groups. I've heard others rave about the steak for dinner. We'll be back!

Not aligned with db or lion so has some interesting beers on tap which is by far the best thing about it. Otherwise lacking character and is a bit of a beer hall. Did not eat so no opinion on the food.

Distinctly Average. Food is hit and miss. Friends I dined with rated the steak, but the fish was not good. They have a good selection of beer on tap, and overall a wide selection of drinks and cocktails.

Locals meeting point for the weekend, great atmosphere, good choice of drinks and nice service. Love the outside as well, perfect for sunny afternoons. Definitely recommend ;)

Lovely sitting out on the verandah for lunch. Staff are friendly and attentive....we had a delicious sharing platter and it was more than enough for 2. For a lovely tasty relaxing lunch i highly recommend the Public House.

The place is a good to hang out and have beers , however when it comes to food, the menu says vegetarian friendly , but the menu has only fries and garlic bread and a salad for vegetarian people which was disappointing.

A great makeover from what was a run down place. Still seem to have a few teething probs but the staff are keen as and food is good. Overall well worth a visit

Great food and great beer on tap. Turned up with 8 people on a busy saturday night and the staff managed to seat. Us with 2 tables 1 for the kids and 1 for the adults. Thank you
