Delicious is all I can say. We had salt and pepper squid for entree and it was so tender. Hubby had lamb shanks and it fell off the bone. I had black cherry chicken and it was so tasty and tender. Highly recommend

Meals were slow arriving. Ordered with friends, their's came in reasonable time ours never arrived. Asked once and "it won't be long" waited, asked again and "it's just been plated". Told me it was because we ordered seperately - true but one behind the other. Meal tasted great once it arrived.

I like that this place is very family orientated, and that people could come in, have a meal, and browse their laptops. They had plug points at tables to charge your phones - in the bar area. We did wait quite a while for our food, the order wasn't put through properly, but they were very quick to compensate us with a free round of drinks. The food was good.

Great atmosphere! It's beautiful. Food is great! The best ribs in Blenheim hands down! It is a tad expensive but it's a great place to go and treat yourself every now again. Lovely staff, have never had a problem with them. Very attentive and helpful.

The selection is a little smaller than it previously has been, however they have some fabulous looking options, big plates, and perfectly cooked food. Would have been nice to have my ribs (falling off the bone 😍😍) on top of my chips instead of chips on the side, however it's just small and trivial issues. Overall recommend 💯%

Brilliant in every way. Good parking, nice staff, great meals and nice seating. There were 7 of us and we all liked our meals. The meat, fish and chicken were all well cooked and the vegatables were fresh and well cooked. Top marks crew!

Really good place for a meal. Was quite noisy in one part but the dining area we were placed in was far enough away from that, which was good. Food was prepared and served relatively promptly considering the crowd, and food was great. Probably a good idea to book ahead as place seemed really popular.

We enjoyed our meals, however, I think in this day and age it would appropriate to have an indication on the menu as to what meals are or could be made gluten free (a simple 'GF'). This would save guests having to ask and wait staff then delaying the order by having to go and ask the chef.

We always go here on our annual trip back to NZ. Always high standard of food, kids love their choices too. Only issue was tonight it was really busy and they were short staffed front of house with a new chef. Meals really late coming but beautifully prepared and delicious. And of course the beer is lovely!

Yes this is part of a restaurant chain but it hits the mark with good solid tucker, interesting and comfortable decor. I have been here several times - it pays to book ahead. A general criticism is that the portions are too large, if you ask they will give you a "seniors menu" which is a selection of the regular menu - but smaller portions.

I tried the Musterers prime Ribeye Sandwich for $24.00. Wasn't very impressed with it. The steak and onion rings were nice, but the rest was a soggy mass of mescalin/lettuce leaves, soggy white bread and half melted cheese. The side salad was just baby lettuce in a bowl with only a little carrot and capsicum and that was it. Disappointing for the price. Hubby had sea food chowder which as usual was nice.

Beautiful restaurant, plenty of seating, and a wide variety of beers. Food is delicious and the staff were prompt and friendly however did have a slightly poor experience with the counter staff. Would recommend the ribs and loaf.

Great atmosphere, service and meals. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The meals were fantastic. Entree of prawns was generous and cooked well with a beautiful spicy sauce on the side. I had the Flintstone rib eye steak for my main and it was huge and cooked exactly how i like it medium rare. Heaps of veges with it too.The only minor downside was that they said we couldn't eat at the bar leaners/tables and watch the Commonwealth games as no tv where we were seated. This was a shame as that's what we came in for on a cold rainy night.

It's great that they have a pensioners menu n'all. To make it easier for wheelchairs though, some way of making it easier to get through the double doors with a wheelchair would be the cherry on the top. I could have done with someone to hold a door open so I could get in more easily whilst pushing my mother in law in the wheelchair in a more dignified way.

Myself and my wife, had just finished a long days driving from Christchurch. We spotted this pub directly across from our motel. Its a quaint style pub with a good atmosphere. We sat down and had meal. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad, it was lovely. And my wife had the Bangers and Mash, she was happy as well. Reasonable price for meals. The Speight beer and cider was good. We had a trainee waitress (her first night on the job) she was greatly attentive, and her service was fantastic. Overall it was a good meal and a beer after a long day. I rarely give 5's.
