This place has an amazing and great food! Big breakfast plate for a reasonable price! Haven't had this big plate of breakfast for that price and the service wow! Very passionate in great customer service. We'll done guys! Worth your time a d money. We had to stop over here to have breakfast and I definitely recommend this one!

Dinner was fantastic, presented beautifully, cooked beautifully, tasted amazing, service was great, very accommodating and friendly. I would say that the atmosphere on a Saturday night can be quite loud/rowdy and what you would expect of a pub vibe, if you want a quiet dinner I probably wouldn’t recommend here on a weekend night. Otherwise had a great & and enjoyable meal.

Great value for money. Food was really good. Quantity and quality of food was far better than so called high class pub restaurants. Very friendly staffs. Interior works , lighting and chairs gives a nice ambiance. We tried one mixed grill platter $24. They suggested and served it in two separate plates. That was enough for two of us. Their service should be appreciated.

My family & I came here to celebrate our son's 13th Bday, We all ordered steaks for our mains, & each was cooked to perfection & served with a smile. And the desserts were even better. We found the staff to be very polite, friendly & kind. They even put a candle on our son's dessert to help celebrate his special day. Meals very reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast of pancakes with everything and real whipped cream, not from a gas bottle. My friend had Seafood Chowder and also enjoyed hers. I would definitely go back. Very reasonably priced as well.

We were impressed by how friendly the staff was. When we entered, we were promptly greeted by the waitress with a friendly smile. We ordered fish and chips, and chicken parmigiana. The fish blue cod and very delicious. The only thing was that there was too much salt on the chips. The chicken was very tasty and hubby loved the salad. We really enjoyed the food and the pleasant ambience. Another staff member thanked us as we were leaving. In all, a wonderful dining experience. Plenty of free parking which was a bonus.

Great food, friendly staff and overall 9.5 out of 10. It isn't the Ritz and doesn't pretend to be but the meals were far better than a lot of more upmarket establishments. Well worth a visit, and the Creme Brulee and a Mochachino really finished the night off.

Rated as a pub. Great value for money with meals! (brunch) Generous portions, and one of the cheapest pubs in Christchurch. Food was straight to the point, up the guts, with no pretentiousness. Nothing to fault there. Service was good. Open early to late, will come back for dinner.

We really loved our time at Bridies. The service was impeccable and the menu presented us with many irresistible offerings. We both agreed that the pan seared salmon in miso broth with Asian vegetables was a classy signature dish for this bustling little bistro. Their calamari entree was very bountiful and their roast meals looked very enticing. They also have a lovely looking children's menu and an ample assortment of beverages. The place is open from 8am until late and they have a lovely friendly mix of patrons that come in. I loved the jukebox and the positive vibes that came from this jolly establishment. I'd happily return back and would highly recommend this place for those seeking a lovely bar to grab a pint to families, friends or colleagues wanting to have an enjoyable meal. The plates are very gregarious and tasty and their puddings look exquisite too! I We were served by two very graceful and charming ladies and the counter staff were absolutely outstanding. The chef was a culinary wizard! We left very replete and satisfied 😊 We were very grateful we had the privilege of picking our own table and this allowed us to get a lovely seat beside a nice refreshing breeze. Our table came complete with serviettes, sauces and utensils. They have a beautiful outdoor courtyard and their indoor seating is cosy and homely. I did not use the rest rooms but all in all was impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment. And, I loved the ample parking! Well done, Bridies!

First time visit, with a First Table brunch booking. Great food and friendly service. We had the Huevos Rancheros and Big Breakfast. Would visit again, even without a FT voucher as the pricing is very reasonable. Only improvement would be to make the outside area non-smoking so everyone can enjoy it. Otherwise a very pleasant experience!

Food & atmosphere is great

This place is expensive, but very nice and clean! The people are friendly and if it's not to busy, they're always ready for a talk. The pool table is very nice and there's even a jukebox with all the songs you can think of. All the chairs and tables are made out of wood, so the place looks old school and clean at the same time. You should definitely check it out!

Can not fault the food here if I tried, always perfect meals that are tastey and dont cost an arm and a leg. The bar tenders are friendly as and the atmosphere is all good. If you haven't been here, get you butt donw here and give it a go 👌🏽

A good hearty meal at a very reasonable price. There is no where else you can get a lamb shank and roast veggies for $15. The bar was redone after the quakes and is well set out, with either booths or separate tables to set out. The staff are friendly and efficient without being in your face. The customers are typical kiwis from around this area. No airs and Grace's but they are always polite and friendly. We eat here probably every 2 weeks and take our grandkids most times. This is not fine dining, just good value kiwi food.

This is a great Place for affordable restaurant meals. Good range of beers, spirits, wines, And non alcoholic drinks. Pool table, small casino, And outstanding friendly staff. Wheel chair access, And toilet facilities which are kept in top shape. This bar offers a very affordable experience. Plenty of parking, ATM machine in house in addition to a Kiwi bank AMD Westpac atm's across the road.

Excellent food at great prices. The staff were super friendly and the service was fast. They have different meal specials during the week. The roast was awesome and only $18 and the steak perfectly cooked.
