S.Really glad we both got a metro card to use the buses. We found they always show up when they’re meant to & get us around really well. It is worth if you’re with another person to get another card as only getting one won’t pay for both at the discounted price. We really loved the helpful service in understanding how the bus system works & will definitely be using these cards again if we come back down again. Thanks!
O.Very convenient asset for the city with restaurants and convenience stores inside the interchange and a fresh choice supermarket just across the road. Great location and you can get anywhere in Christchurch from here. Staff and service has been good when I've needed it e.g setting up a new metro card. Public bathrooms that are always clean and always well lit in the whole complex in general. I believe there is also bike storage for anyone to use and always easy pedestrian access with street side parking for those whole need it. Great asset for the city!
P.Essential service,,helpful staff,,Orbitor for shopping,,Buses go all over Christ and outskirts,,available almost all year around,,,,support our public transport service and reduce pollution in our garden city.there are Electric buses too.GO PLACES.
j.A great place to wait for a bus. Feels safe, clean, and functional. There and lots of timetable screens showing live bus times and a info desk if you need help with anything. You can top up your metroCard or purchase one. It also has a small dairy and a few other shops. Overall it Makes bus journeys easier and more comfortable.

s.its useful and easy.. at night its scary, some dude pulled out a knife and a half bottle of vodka out of his bag.. i didnt say anything but it was quite strange and freaky! be careful! but very lovely security :)
s.Amazing bus exchange newly built post quake. Simple design easy access and clear about where which buses are. Time table easily spot. Toilet and facilities are all new and we'll kept. Located in central city. High ceiling, seats available. Easy connection for intercity bus transfer.
W.It is a very modern and beautiful bus interchange. It is spacious and clean, and there are a few eateries within to grab a quick bite when needed. There is also a clean toilet at one end of the interchange. There are clear displays to indicate when the buses are coming or leaving, and many clear signs to show us where to explore Christchurch central. A great place to come to when visiting from the outskirts to explore Christchurch.
M.This was a great idea to house the bus exchange in a building just alongside Cathedral Square. Central to the CBD it is still convenient to all who use the facility.
I like no buses parked up all the time in the Square and the tramway coming through.
The bus service is great if you need it and as they say no car parking worries.
c.To the 130 avonhead/hei hei that just went down manurere street to riccarton just now thank you so much for stopping for my girl even though she had not made it to the bus stop you were also so kind too her 😊

S.Very quiet at night kept clean for the most part
But the timing displays are not always correct and some buses dont show up so if you are hearing impaired the boards dont always help need to keep an eye on the buses coming in to the gates at the platform your bus is meant to arrive at
R.A good place to meet and greet and catching a bus to other places or just transferring to other services. Information is easy to use when looking for your transfer service.
J.When I think of public toilets, I would think badly of it but at the bus interchange it's always clean, also everything is respectful and clean because theres some occasional visit from the police so it's a very safe place.

T.Could do with central aircon/heating and wifi for long bus wait times. There is no hand sanziter dispensers anywhere either. More seating could be added along the walls too. Very clean and pleasant smelling building with awesome food outlet options when hungry. As well as helpful and friendly desk staff to help with all bus needs :)

S.Can get pretty noisy and busy during its peak times, but it's an otherwise convenient bus interchange located at the heart of the city centre.
B.The best bus stop in christchurch. The dairys are expensive but you can go across the road to fresh choice if you wish to save some coin.

C.Very efficient place to go. I had a stop over for 10 minutes and in that time I went to the bathrooms (very clean) and the sushi shop, which is a very quick and easy place to go to grab something to eat just for the fact that it is right in front of you and it's not some McDonalds where you have to order and wait.
Z.Thin place was great because I just sorta walked in, waited and after a while a lady's voice read over a speaker my bus name and where it was headed and what gate it was entering. If you need to get virtually anywhere in chch come here and take a bus.

J.What can I say! It's clean, easy to figure out where you need to go. The staff are friendly and helpful to all. Amenities are faultless. Security staff lovely. Definitely one of the best bus services in the country.

C.Generally it's ok but some young ones need to be better behaved and there language needs address to cleaner words
C.Spacious, easy and straightforward to navigate and negotiate. Always clean. Good signage when its functioning. A good amount of seating, safe with visible security. Easy to access. Plenty of toilets. There are also a few places to snack and rehydrate.
S.Bus exchange is very impressive. However I would prefer that the toilets aren't unisex. I waited for one to free up and imagined a young girl or boy waiting there alone with the man also waiting to use the facilities with me. Not a good feeling as quite cut off from rest of the station. Could leave females and children vulnerable.
D.This is a bus terminal but believe me after entering the premises you will think you entered some airport lounge. In my life I never saw such a beautiful and unique bus terminal setup. It's sheer beauty. Like the city the bus terminal is also shining like a newly constructed premises.
T.New, clean, spacious, and well designed with helpful staff. This is the only bus terminal I've ever actually enjoyed visiting. Christchurch Bus Interchange symbolizes the city's bright future. All the left luggage lockers were taken when I visited.

K.The interchange is very accessible to everyone. It is valid reason to stop on buses because of it spot in the city centre. The interchange has clean bathrooms along with many options of food. Speakers in the roof make convenient to know what bus is leaving or about to leave the interchange, along with screens showing times of busses.
n.Such an excellent and well-designed bus terminal with great architecture and climate control. Love the airport feel and the bus route announcements.

N.Nice and clean bus exchange but could do with some background music to get rid of the morgue like atmosphere. The older bald Security guy needs to be a bit more cheerful and less blunt when dealing with the public though.

K.A good bus exchange but the security just seem to mope around with sour looks on their faces. The metro help desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Please heat the exchange though, it's bitter cold even on warm/hot days!

S.Very good location and a super convenient place to hang out while waiting for our bus ride. There are also electronic boards all throughout the bus interchange making it easy to find which platform and door your bus will stop. Overall, I'd say Christchurch's transportation system is very efficient and convenient.
H.This is a new build. City buses come in one side of building. Intercity the other side. This makes travelling so easy. The local buses are announced & which of the stands they're coming into.
The whole place was very clean
There are places to plug phone etc into, no WiFi, except when a bus came in.
There are several cafes in station. We used a supermarket across the road.
M.Food options, in the CBD, access to just about all of the bus routes, Intercity has a bus stop here for passengers embarking or disembarking the buses outside of the interchange. Great air conditioning year round. You can get metro cards here for cheaper bus fares and top up the cards too ( top up starts at $10, $20, etc.).
C.Fantastic facility and location. Well done Christchurch. Great to have Intercity just outside the door as well. Bathrooms at each end of the terminal, snack and coffee shops. Close to CBD.
J.Its a good bus station, well spaces out and there are things to snack on while you wait for the bus. It's a very well placed building as its next to the movies and the city centre.
M.This is a great place to catch a bus, no matter what the weather is you will be dry and warm. There is signage to let you know when all of the buses are coming and where they go to and from. There is a help desk where they can answer any questions you may have about the buses in Christchurch. Always a good place to start a city adventure.
D.Amazing, just like an Airport! The 29 bus line is really modern and has USB charging, free wifi and is ELECTRIC. No noise what so ever and feels great!
A.A good facility to wait out of the weather for a bus. There is also a place to store your bike and lockers. Also several food places, an Intercity booking agency and an information kiosk. The departure boards could be placed better though
D.Great place. Buses arrive between 0-15 minutes when you first arrive there to take you to where you want to go. It's got 6 gender neutral toilets on each end - could do with a few more
C.Easy to find, nice lady giving information , can imagine how many times she gives the same information to us country bumping with a smile.

N.This Interchange is a nice place, it's warm and there public toilets a bike parking area, buses to the Airport and regional bus services all leave from here. There's a cafe, a dairy and a few eateries as well.
K.Nicest bus station I have ever seen. I would come here just to chill. Lots of seating, and they even have plug points. There are terminals for each bus and an airport lady making announcements.

S.A brilliant public amenity. I was staying at the nearby Ibis Hotel and found it very convenient to walk the two short blocks to bus interchange. From there, buses go everywhere. The arrivals and departures are on big screens. They are also announced on the PA. The building is spacious. Seating was adequate. There are toilets at each end. The ticket / MetroCard kiosk was centrally located and the wait want long. This is a lovely, modern, clean facility. Well done, Christchurch!
W.Very efficient and well managed facility. Incredibly central - must leave the car at home more often! Very good regular service to my part of town too.
P.Wonderful place to aim for if you don't know Christchurch. Clean, Warm and Spacious. Toilets Clean, Great access to Food outlets and Opposite the Wonderful Hoyts Cinema. Can't comment on the Bus Service itself, but again a Smart Looking Building for a City Moving Forward. For the Non Driver it is a Dream stop and Access to some pretty wonderful shops, Hop skip and a jump to Christchurchs Marvellous New Library (A HUGE ASSET)
C.Makes it so easy to transfer buses or find the right bus to take you where you need to go. Very clean and plenty of information to help you plan your trip around Christchurch.
I.A beautiful station, an example of innovation and progress in public transport. It is very spacious and well structured; lots of comfortable benches and a number of cafes to sweeten your waiting time. There are displays mounted at every gate showing current info for coming buses, as well as voice announcements once a bus has arrived, telling passengers which bus it is, what gate, and where the gate is located. Besides, the building itself is a stunning landmark for Christchurch.
K.Christchurch Bus Interchange. Staff are very helpful buses are very regular and on time, The whole place was very clean. Good signage, coffee shops and great central location.
L.Gorgeous bus exchange, very simple, modern and clean. The staff working here are very friendly, though of course sometimes you'll encounter an employee or bus driver having a bad day.
The interchange has a great location direct in central Christchurch, making it easy to get anywhere from it or use it as a landmark.
The Christchurch bus interchange also has maps, brochures, bike and luggage storage, maps, digital timetables and toilets. The seating is fairly comfortable, and there are also water taps for drinking and an information booth right by the center.
There are a few shops in it which are all easily accessible. All in all a helpful and smartly designed bus interchange.

A.Well organised and clean. Time table monitors tell you exactly which buses go to which platforms and staff and drivers are friendly and helpful if you need to ask which bus to catch

C.Great bus station. Much better than the ones in Scotland.
Clean and tidy. And unlike scotland its heated and cooled. Bicycle racks. Wide automatic entry doors. Lots of seating available.
There are multiple retails units here such as muffin break, I-sushi
Intercity bus has an office here also for longer distance travel.
16 bus bays split into 4 sections, A to D each bay has a stand with braile and speaker.
Metrocards can be bought here from the information desk.
There are large maps of the bus routes as well as smaller pocket sized versions of the individual routes.
A.Expansive and impressive design. Excellent signage so easy to navigate. also has two cafes and a convenience store which are useful if you have a long waiting time.
K.Externally it looks fantastic. A very striking design. But despite the fact it's never that busy there isn't enough waiting space or seating. Nor is there enough expansion room if patronage increases.
S.Wonderful space feels very passenger focused and safe. Friendly and relaxed interface for understanding where to go for your bus.

T.A well organised bus exchange for the city. Some of the screens could be positioned better, and have bigger text, but overall it's a really nice facility with food, drink and toilets.
Z.Clean, fresh and a striking, user-friendly space. I love the round wooden seats, the "Galaga" style roof and the use of warm red tile on the outside that recalls the old red brick buildings we no longer have. It has an ATM - very desirable in the still-damaged CBD - a useful convenience store and several cafes. You can charge your devices at the Gate 15 end, but make sure you have a plug - there's no option to go straight to USB. With airport-style arrival time boards and an automated announcement system , it's easy to use.

D.Seems like a pretty nice bus interchange, as bus interchanges go – well-lit, sheltered inside areas for commuters to rest in while they wait for their buses. Cafés right nearby, too, which is nice.

N.It's lovely and spacious however the announcements of buses Evey 30 seconds is very tense
M.It's marginly warmer than outside, adequately lit has decent toilets. The public transport system is based on here too.
R.I've enjoyed the ride with the bus interchange in the last couple of years, it interests me where it goes from the city to anywhere it goes and that keeps me happy for it, and it's a better transport

W.A modern exchange with a similar layout to an airport. However, the design is quite seriously flawed as during southerlies or easterlies (the prevailing cold winds in Chch) the doors allow cold blasts of wind and rain straight into the exchange. Poorly thought out
D.A place worth going with young kids if they haven't been to bus stations. Fun to see buses coming in and the efficiency with which they operate.

R.A modern clean facility, most local buses go through the interchange. Outside the terminal you can catch regional buses to other areas. It is a well connected network with plenty of buses running, at least 1 ever hour for each route
