Reviews of Dusk bar
I love Dusk! My friend and I come once a week for their incredible pizza, glass of wine and a catch up.
The food, service and views are always 10/10. A true local hidden gem.
I had the eggs Benedict, the eggs were the smallest I've ever had for eggs Benedict, I usually order this every sunday in different cafes, for the last three months, in Christchurch/Canterbury, I enjoyed my meal with the marvelous view,
Food was delicious and good atmosphere with amazing views over the city. I downgraded the service to 4 as there was quite a bit of wait for both clearing my table from the previous customers and also for the food...which was worth waiting for. A heaven for celiacs with freshly baked gf bread and good variety of gf food available
Great view! Service could be a bit faster 😁
Edit: Second time around, much faster service even with a packed venue. The mustard aoli on the steak sandwich blew my mind, highly recommended. The French toast was great too.
Amazing relaxing view, good place to unwind alone or with friends and special someone. Not so sure about the service though, must be an early in the morning type of mood. Love the coffee, pie and quiche. Will definetely come back on sunny weather. Hopefully, the staff smile more..😊
Exceptional food! My seafood chowder was full of an assortment of seafood, thick creamy and flavourful. I tried my friend's open omelette and it was fluffy and full of vegetables and feta cheese and quite substantial. The service was top notch considering it was the day after the terrorist attack and they were also low on staff. Views are always beautiful. A real Christchurch classic.
I came here for a coffee and brownie, great coffee but the brownie was on the dry side though. Lovely views of Christchurch which is what makes it special here. It's clean and Overall a nice place to stop at for a quick or long stop
A great experience all around. Made a lunchtime reservation with special request for seating. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Even the owner/manager? who was immersed in paperwork had time for a smile & greeting. We both got caesar salads & they were exquisite. My coffee was perfect. THE VIEW was incredible over the city & to the mtns, I could see forever. I absolutely loved this place and will certainly be back.
Great food, very friendly service, and a great location with view. We had a dinner of seafood chowder, slow cooked beef cheek, and dumplings, really enjoyed it. Saturday evening, live music and great atmosphere of a cozy bar. The price was good too.
Absolutely love dining here! Staff are so friendly and welcoming, view is amazing, atmosphere is so relaxing and the food is fantastic! The seafood chowder is the best in the country in our opinion. They make awesome coffees as well! Would dine here every day if we could. Thanks guys for making our day
Best view in Christchurch from a cafe/restaurant. Creamy coffee... Slow cooked meat dishes for dinner are fab..
Have been here every time I visit chch....the view is amazing! Unfortunately the food was disappointing for the first time ever. Eggs beni ...they forgot the spinach, egg whites uncooked and salmon overcooked. Hopefully next time they get it right...apparently new chef ...waitress was lovely and very apologetic.
stuning views in winter, you can see the snow mountains in front of you.
The food was first class and the service the same. Prices are good and the scenery topped off a great time. I will definitely be going there again.
Came here for a quick take away coffee, lovely views and excellent coffee but slow service.
We love this place - Dusk, now, not Cup.
Comfy window seats, lovely views, sun and tasty food.
Sadly our usual Eggs Bene has shrunk! The yummy layered potato underneath has halved in serving size. It was tiny!
We had a good time drinking delicious chips and coffee~^^ This is my favorite place~^^
Great place in the evening for a glass of wine or a beer and delicious food! The view is incredible and there are often events on in the evenings! The monthly Thursday sing-along is amazing!!!
