Such an amazing bar and restaurant, $12 hot plate steak meals on a Tuesday, ended up being 17 of us on our last day in christchurch and we had a blast, bonus was they had my favorite beer .... waikato :)

Excellent range of Boundary Road beers, incredibly cheap Stone Grill on a Tuesday night, excellent stay. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious! My first time experiencing a stone grill steak and it was amazing. We also ordered some wedges (WoWee) and nachos. Highly recommended. They also have take away boxes if you order too much like we did haha friendly staff and great service. A hidden gem.

Very good atmosphere and excellent service from friendly helpful staff. Indoor and outdoor seating and table service in both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Good food cooked and served on site. Parking available at the hotel. Poker machines on site and darts and pool available. Wide range of drinks, both alcohol and non available. Well with a visit. One other attraction is that the pub is dog friendly.

The stonegrill is not to be missed - a volcanic slab heated to 400 degrees is served to you with steak or chicken and you cook it yourself, exactly how you want, while you're eating! Especially with it's ten bucks on Tuesdays it's ridiculously good, and great value any time. Tops staff, too, and great indoor and outdoor areas :-)
