Beautiful food, add this to list of places to dine, fresh cooked food, amazing tastes and excellent service, so many good dishes to pick from. Highly recommend

Great cocktail list and really yum food. Staff were lovely and the place has a very cool vibe plus they welcome dogs... Perfect!!

Absolutely 5 star food, loved the flavours and that the chef was not afraid to try anything new. Waitress Amber was also lovely, made us feel very welcome. Tasty cocktails too.

Well worth 2 visits while on holiday in Christchurch. Food is excellent and the staff very friendly. Stand outs were the chicken burger, the bread platter including pickles and brunch the next day. Also had amazing coffee!

Rascal is amazing. I call in often and Dan, Ruby and Toby always takes good care of me. The cocktails are always on point and the food delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The food was absolutely delicious. Done great dips as well. A lovely place for a dinner and drinks. The staff are very friendly and considerate as well. I'd definitely revisit. Great starters and dinner options. Will check out the dessert menu next time 😺😊

Great place in strangers lane, refitted from the last time I was here and now has a lot more class. Great atmosphere inside and out, really good drinks and cocktails menu and I like his they have kept the menu small but has good quality items .

Another great example of what Christchurch has to offer on a night out. Attentive staff, delicious cocktails and the atmosphere is such a vibe.

The young lady who waits on us was so friendly and helpful, we had pork, crumbed chicken so crunchy etc, the chef so smiley

A very elegant bar. Toby was a charming host/owner. Came down on Tuesday and literally every cocktail tickled my fancy. The beetroot cocktail with white chocolate shavings is a game changer in my opinion. Who would have thought? Loved the Gazpacho cocktail equally if not more. I must say Bambi has outdone himself as well. Thanks guys for challenging my palate and I’ll be back. You will definitely thrive in the upcoming months.

Had seen the post on fb so next time was in christchruch went in and was Not disappointed friendly staff fantastic service and the food was next level can't wait to go back , you must try the apple Wonton they will blow your mind, thanks for a great meal.

Went there for our daughters birthday. Very welcoming. We shared several dishes as a group although father had his own. Nice coffee. Caters for vegetarians and vegans. Menu changes weekly.

Fried chicken delicious. Chicken burger really nice. Chips underseasoned with bland sauces. Olives and bread sticks a bit dull. Pricing for the drinks somewhat mysterious from the menu so it's easy to spend more than you intend. No non alcohol drinks on the menu for eg so no idea how much a coke or orange would cost. Cocktails change every week sigh great selection but no prices on the menu.

Brunch was amazing and staff super friendly!

Four of us stumbled upon Rascal and we were welcomed in to find a cosy quiet corner next to the fire. We enjoyed chatting to knowledgeable chef about the menu and wine. The little plates were delicious. Great find, we will be back.

This place is fantastic. The chef made a point of coming over to me to advise me on the gluten-free options.My chicken was delicious, the staff were helpful & friendly, the music was not loud (10 out of 10 for that Rascals) and we will definitely go again

We visited on Saturday night for drinks while we waited for a booking at another bar - in the end I wish we’d stayed at Rascal. All three staff behind the bar were great, the drinks were all fantastic and the bar had a nice cosy feel to it - we’ll definitely be back next time we’re out in town, and we can’t wait to come and try the brunch menu too.
