B.Really decent pub grub from a pretty unassuming venue. Worth a stop if you're hungry on the way home from Arthur's Pass as we were. We had a quality chicken burger and generous serve of ribs. Blair is an excellent host.
L.I've not been to this pub before. It was lovely. Good off-street parking, great seating outside facing the road. Another old pub with history and atmosphere. I was with a group of biker friends we enjoyed our stop.

B.Get the steak! This is a typical country pub, a bit rundown on the inside, but the quality of food was unexpectedly outstanding. Steak done perfectly, great size and yummy salad. If you’re in the area, highly recommend as a place to get a good feed n water! Friendly bar keep to boot!

b.Great pub for a tasty, good sized meal. Had the crumbed dory tonight with chips and salad. Was good, clean food. Not greasy. Good selection of beers and a really friendly welcoming bloke behind the bar. Gave us some local tips and had a good chat.
S.We had dinner at the Springfield hotel and the gnocchi was without a doubt the best meal I have had so far on our travels. It was outstanding! My huge compliments to the chef.

b.Very nice room for price but let down by cheap soft bed with no back support. Spa is a great feature but let down by lack of towels. 1 each isn't enough when want spa and shower.
Shower was also impossible to use without soaking bathroom floor, curtain rail hangs outside of tray.
M.Awesome place, very friendly staff and people recommend a stop there. Food is great, hey why not stay a night then you can enjoy a drink with your meal.
