Reviews of Kingston Flyer Cafe and Bar
Straight forward pub food - good, fast service, plenty of it. The coffee machine was turned off at 7pm although they don't close until 9pm. Tells you about their priorities! Place was full with a cheer ambience on a Thursday night at holiday time.
Nice garden, thoughtful addition of bug spray. Friendly. Great location. Decor a bit tired and smells of old cooking greece inside... maybe its the scent of steam train?
Lovely food and coffee for a takeaway that you can eat by the lake. Everything was ready quickly and was delicious.
Lovely little historic pub cafe. The food and service was excellent.
Lovely meals - generous portions and very fast service even though cafe was 2/3 full. The coffee was good and hot, the fish was moist, the chips were crisp and the chicken burger had proper juicy chicken not a dry flat patty
Great food, loved my blue cod.
Nice and friendly pub to visit. Beautiful just by the lake
Been driving past this place for far too many times so we decided to stop for lunch this time. We ordered the fish burger and the fish and chips. They were both beautifully made with crunchy chips. The owners were super friendly. Glad we stopped by.
We had our dinner here last night probably on their busiest night of the year. It was fully packed at 30 over people and the waiting time was over 1.5hours. The manager handled us very well and served us pretty quickly. The blue cod is really good. Would recommend
This place waa a delight lovely location but the staff, food and atmosphere were 10/10. Eating a perfect medium rare steak then a lovely gooey chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and listening to The Killers Mr Brightside - could it get any better? Cafe Laffare coffee by the way. Maybe The Smiths charming man to finish off?
