A great Bar, went for dinner with friends, we had awesome service, food was tasty and a great price. Just a bit disappointed that there was no pork crackling with the roast pork meal though.

This would have to be one of the best bars I've been into for a meal. The staff were both helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The meals were both visually inviting and smelt good as well as being value for money. If you are in Dunedin I recommend you give them a try.

I rather liked it here, will be back for sure! The ribs were good and the burgers looked like a good time too, even had a vegetarian burger option which isn't always common. If you're sober driving some mates, they have a free coke for the driver too which is really thoughtful. 5 Stars

Had the open sandwiches from the lunch menu. Steak was quiet chewy and a bit hard to eat. That said the chips tasted great and we were served by a very friendly employee.

Went to gamble whilst waiting for a student across the road at the stadium,Minimal gaming machines, didnt win anything so i didnt think much of that,however the one man band wasnt too bad,mixture of music.crowd was behaved and multi aged

From the minute we walked in here the staff were AMAZING, we never had to ask for a drink or for service, it was just there when we needed it without having them hovering over you, it's a fine line and they nailed it!!. The serving sizes are on the slightly smaller side but still plenty enough food, the fish was a little bit over battered but otherwise nice, the steak was cooked to perfection but the peppercorn sauce tasted like it wasn't fresh or had been sitting for a few days. All and all would definitely dine here again

So what can I say about this place? Well I asked for a Big mac or quarter pounder. Turns out that's not on the menu and I definitely had come to the wrong place. Nevertheless my belly was telling me that I needed food and who am I to argue with my stomach. So I partook in the eating of foods to quench my insatiable hunger. Let me tell you....afterwards I had no craving for either a big mac or quarter pounder. The food was amazing and I have no complaints (other than no big mac's or quarter pounders on the menu) 10/10 absolutely reccomend. Well actually 5/5 because google cant count to 10 stars it seems. Did I mention I like big mac's and quarter pounders? But in all seriousness great place great food. Well done 👍

Got the steak Sammie, bit light on the fries but the steak was cooked perfectly even though I didn't get an option. Very yummy meal for $12! Recommended :)

Good atmosphere and staff but my steak was cold and overcooked, my mums and partners meal didnt come with scallops as listed on the menu. To which the person at bar who we paid the bill only had "oh sorry" to say. As we were paying for our meals and leaving I noticed a few meals sitting ready to be taken by waiters for quite a while when other meals were getting prepared so thats probably why my steal was cold... first and last time ill be eating here unfortunately.

The Baaa is a typical sports bar. The location is excellent as is working distance to a lot of motels. We have always found the staff to be friendly and have excellent customer service skills.
