Great Experience... Good range on menu & chef dealt with all our special requirements.. Serving staff were great! Definitely Recommend!!

Ribs flavour was lovely, unfortunately ribs presented individually which always sets off alarm bells. The ribs were trimmed so severally there was no meat left on the ribs. No doubt the chef used my lunch to make another dish. It wasn't a lunch special meal either as was full price $20. Lovely flavour just left feeling hungry.

On behalf of the Manawatu MX5 Club we had a fantastic place to have a group dinner. Very helpful staff went out of there way to make a great dinner night. Food and beverages were fantastic. A huge thank and we will be back.

Wonderful food, good service and typical rural pub/hotel atmosphere. They accommodated our group of twelve and we all agreed that our meals were very, very nice which included cajun chicken salad, fish and chips, pork, beef and chicken schnitzel and the ubiquitous stockyard burger!! Yum, yum. The prices for the meals were spot on.

It was alright. The chips were really nice and had a good flavour. Unfortunately the rest of the med were pretty average. My chicken burger was pretty dry, my partners steak was overcooked and my friends nachos were too spicy for her (and they were from the kids menu!)

Great destination in Fielding is this heritage building in need of TLC on the exterior but not to be judged. Inside you are greeted by very friendly staff who are courteous and attentive. With an open fire the ambience is warm and inviting.Rustic inside with deer heads and farm equipment adorning the walls. There is a variety of seating options which many a stockman has placed his weary body. From tractor seats to chunky oak bar stools. The light lunch menu offers variety and at a good price.On Thursday they have steak night half the price. Overall a relaxing warm experience with good food and great staff.

The food is good & the staff are generally good as well BUT they have some damn stupid rules for people like me who rent a room upstairs from them. I am not allowed ANY visitors after 5pm & they get upset if I have visitors earlier as well. It's as if they think they work for the Corrections Dept & we are their inmates.

Love the Denbigh Hotel, the staff are 100% focused when it comes to customer service, the food is excellent and very reasonable, what makes this place is the staff they are always smiling and go out of their way to make sure that your happy.

Standard pub fare on the low end of the quality scale. Decor a bit old and run down. Beer selection is very stock standard so nothing to interest me there. Very friendly staff though. Nothing wrong with the place just not somewhere I would normally go.

Walked past to a newer bar as it looked " tired, bit scruffy” 3 of us walked in to the newer bar, prices high, no one came to assist with our 4th member who was in a wheelchair, or offer a table. Walked back to the Denbigh, as soon as we entered, despite being very busy we had a lady come over to show us the most suitable table. The service was fantastic, the food prices came as a pleasant surprise, 3 of us had the steak as it was steak night, it was one of the best steaks any of us had had for years, my wife had the lamb and said it was very good. To round of a good meal, add a good selection of wines and beers.
