C.Great beers, and a good vibe! The tasting rack is a good way to sample a bunch of beers before choosing a favourite.
N.I must say that craft beer can be a bit hit and miss with one's taste buds, but it is fair to say that one of the very best beers ever to touch my taste buds has to be Bootleg Brewery's Rum Burgundy. Not some woke 2% light beer, it comes in at a ripe 6.8% and has a taste profile that is almost heavenly. It may be the rum that enhances it - it certainly can be tasted - and it is INCREDIBLY drinkable, a point that I cannot emphasise enough.
You'll savour this, wish the bottle was bigger, and hope that someone doesn't torment you with one while you're participating in Dry July, because.......yep! Leadeth me not into temptation for I am a willing participant.

The XPA was sensational.
F.Great place and great atmosphere. Some really nice beers as well. A big selection is available. Also wines available for this who would prefer. Getting there is interesting. It's in the old Matangi Dairy Factory. You need to enter through the main gate and keep to the left.
N.Great guys with a passion for great beer! The team at Bootleg are fast becoming masters of their craft - ask anyone who has tried the award winning Apehanger IPA, which won at the 2017 Brewers Guild awards. I'm a fan of big IPA and APA beers, so if you are too, check them out. Here's one of their latest brews, the TrHOPical Paradise NZXPA

E.Wonderful atmosphere, and frankly some of the best beer in the country. We're incredibly lucky to have such a strong brewing community in the Waikato.
