I love the atmosphere here. It's the local place to go, and staff always make a table available. The outdoor tables are sticky; I notice this every time. It has become something of a novelty. The live music can get too loud too early for those trying to have a conversation. I do love this place, though!

Just went to have a catch up and few beers with some old friends. Had a plate of yummy chips. Staff are friendly and helpful. They appear to be running things professionally and well organised considering the current climate, trying to keep everyone safe. Good work guys👍

Beautiful Kai decided on a whim to take the whanau out for lunch had a variety on the menu. I had the Moroccon salad DLISH 🥗 Clean and tidy area and the air con was on full blast as it was a scorcher whiched helped enjoy the enviroment! Staff are helpful and friendly, big covered area outside. Travelled from melville was worth the ride. Thank you

Love this place, very traditional inside- even train signs from where I used to live in the UK. Plenty of beer and food options although i always go for the roast beef in a giant Yorkshire pudding- if you have never tried this you are missing out. Drive down from the North Shore in Auckland just to have it. Staff are friendly plenty of seating and parking.

1st visit since L4 lockdown, under the current government challenging guidelines staff were welcoming, friendly, polite and service was great, meals were quick to arrive & very tasty. The only disappointment was to see bar staff serving patrons coming to the bar in front of the 'Table Only Service' signs.

Had dinner there tonight for my daughter's birthday. Food and service excellent. The closest to a real English pub I've found since moving to NZ (from London). Only one observation; I had a pint of Kilkenny, all good....but it was chilled, it really should be served at room temperature (same with the Guinness and Boddington). Despite this, highly recommended 😀.

Slightly slow on bringing the drinks out the last time we went there, the kids meals ended up arriving before our drinks did (great for the two kids, not so much for the four adults). When we ordered dessert we tried to order coffee but were told they were so far behind on drinks orders that it would be a 20-min wait... apart from the service issues the food is always great and usually no complaints from us. Overall a great place for family meals.

Absolutely loves the live music we had when we went, made the ambience so cozy. Has quick amd efficient service! and when we found a red chicken wing they dealt with it professionally and offered them to us free of charge. Love the chicken parmigiana and kids pizza was a decent size too. Will definitely be back 😊

Had a great lunch here today and the place was packed. My Chicken Parmigiana was cooked and seasoned well. The service was wonderful couldn't have asked for better. Hubby mentioned to the waitress that the disabled toilets were a bit of a mess and within a minute someone was cleaning and mopping them. I can't get to grips with people who let their children run wild in a restaurant. The staff were so good with them doing the job that the parents should have been doing. Will be back again but perhaps not during school holidays next time.

We come almost weekly and are always greeted at the door with a charismatic smile. The service is quick, efficient and light hearted. The kitchen is fast paced so not a long wait on food. Keep up the great work!🥰

My steak was cooked perfectly but a little under seasoned. Salad was a bit bland, fries were very good. The service was a little lacking. Even though they were quiet with plenty of staff I had to go to the bar for more drinks as nobody came to the table. Same for dessert. Everyone enjoyed the food though and it was quiet enough for conversation.

Always great food, and pretty good service, have been a few times, one time, I accidentally forgot my ID, was with a big group of people who all had their ID, just wanted to have dinner, didn't even want to order alcohol and got told none of us could eat there because I didnt have my ID as I had lost my wallet which I explained to the waitress. Dont know weather this is company policy but, was very disappointed as we came to celebrate one of my accomplishments at work. Will be coming again tho as my other experiences have been very good.

Went to eat here to celebrate a birthday for a teenager. Caters for smaller children and there is a good selection on the menu. The starters we had were a bit small for the price but the mains were good value for money. Good deals on different nights of the week (e.g. half price dessert on Wednesdays). All in all a nice venue, with an English pub feel. Easy parking, great service and a decent pub feed!

Awesome English pub style venue. At a dead end of the night and with no children at home we decided to go and try out Cock & Bull for dinner. I rang first just to see if they could accommodate us, phone was answered by a lovely British lady who let us know they were very busy with having a boxing night on the big screen and racing had finished with people choosing to head out of town for their nights entertainment, but yes she could fit us in. Fit was right as it was very packed but the atmosphere was friendly and happy and that just added to the fun evening. Food was amazing!!! Unfortunately a date stamp was found in my salad, just paper, but the manager and staff fell over themselves to correct the issue even giving us 10% off our meals!!! Wonderful service, great food, fun atmosphere!!!

The Cock & Bull is a pub, & I'm not into pubs, BUT apart from that, I enjoyed sitting in a cozy spot inside, in the sun. My husband had a chicken burger & fries, & I had a Ceasar salad. Yum!!! The food was great. At 4pm on a Saturday & having few patrons, the service was prompt & pleasant.

After reading a couple of negative reviews in here we went along to the Cock & Bull with open eyes. Nothing to worry about! The wait was short, about 10 minutes, the food was delicious - plenty to eat, the staff were wonderful. The price? Well... I don't mind paying a little more for top quality food. Good food here with nice seating either inside or outside.outside area has the heatlamps when it gets either late in the evening or cold. Has a.pool table and tv's to watch sports on. Food is actually good for a bar wouldn't actually consider it bar food more restraunt food. Good selection of mains and starters but lacking on selections of deserts. Only 4 different deserts most of the time but like 20ish choises of mains.

The C & B is an English style pub, fairly modern, but atmospheric, with nice food, good service, a covered outdoors area and good value. There is a lot of pub paraphernalia around the walls and roof adding tho the charm. I'm fussy and I like it. The best pub in Hamilton by far!
