Used to love this place. Appears to have lost quality in food and prices for alcohol have notably gone up. Also booked a table and they didn’t have one for us where we asked even though they confirmed the booking, but staff were still hospitable

3.5 stars. Came to Hamilton for a day trip. Stopped here with friends for a meal. Ordered Ribs, whoopin burger, mac & cheese bites, tacos and chilli cheese fries. The food was decent and fairly priced, I personally enjoyed the chilli cheese fries however the fishbowls were probably the highlight of our meal.

We dined in at the house on hood for their 'limitless lunch' promotion. The outdoor areas were spacious and had a retractable roof. There were a couple of seating arrangements available inside aswell. Their customer service were attentive to our table. We were allowed limitless pizza, garlic bread and hot chips. The fish bowls were portions were big and they had some refreshing flavors.

Had an amazing 21st party in their function area upstairs on Sat night!! The venue is awesome, the staff were brilliant and the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a space for 60 - 80 people.

Good food and good price. I would've left five stars but the service needs improving. Came here with my family to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary. It was a quiet lunch time but we were served like we were bothering the waiter.

Decided to go on a sunny sunday afternoon and i was largely happy with the place. Great food ; you have to try their soft shell tacos. Amazing. The customer service is warm and welcoming. But, a lack of parking (an issue that the entire CBD area faces in Hamilton) was a hassle. Lastly, sitting outside looks and sounds great but the sitting area has a lot of flies, and ants. Beware of the white wooden benches;they have ants on them and are a little dirty. But to be honest, the cons may sounds horrible but they aren't that big of a deal. Bonus tip: on Mondays, the tacos are for $2 each.

Booked, got there at 6:36, got drinks at 6:50, ordered food at 7:15, being told that order didn’t go through at 7:40, offered 3 free drinks, waited till 7:56, got 2 pizzas, complained, left, paid for half price. Pizza was 6.5$ instead of 20$ that night, but if that’s the quality when others paying 20$ other time..

Decent $5 pizza, good size but they charge $2 for a takeaway box if you don’t finish it and want to take some home. I wouldn’t recommend going here on $5 pizza night without a reservation because you’ll get stuck in a table outside in the cold with no heat lamp, whereas Little George’s next door runs the same deal

The food was absolutely delicious! 😋 Great prices for their specials on tacos. Drinks were yum! 😋 The only let down and deal breaker of sitting outside was a smoker sitting at a table behind us, blowing smoke in our direction while we ate!😡🤬 She couldn't walk the 5 to 6 steps to get into the fresh air and pollute that! 👎 Staff were friendly but service was slow.

Reasonably priced. Went for the $5 deserts and got the pecan pie! Was worth every penny (and definetly at full price)! Also got tacos and loaded fries, was delicious and resonably priced. However for the price of the tacos I would expect 3 rather only 2.... Love the atmosphere. I want to come back!

Took my mrs out to eat Friday 30/10/20 and we both didn't know what to expect walking in I was thinking is it a pub or a restaurant and we got the menus and was shocked by the lack of items on it(where's the steak meal and a chicken equivalent) we each had the grilled chicken burger it came with a handful of chips with small aioli sauce for $15 each (which were great) my burger at least looked like it had formed itself but it tasted okay overall 3/5 seems fair. The positives the staff were friendly. Won't be back unless the owners were to add to the menu with at least a good steak and chicken meal that's affordable around the $20 mark

Haven’t been here in a long time, but went on Tuesday night for a few drinks and all the staff were super friendly and very polite. My waiter Woody was absolutely amazing and he definitely needs a pay rise for sure! He went above and beyond to make out night great and purely because of his service I will be going back there. One of the kindest waiters I have ever come across!

I've been to house three times. First the good. The restaurant has a good sized inside and a very expansive patio. There are good specials most nights whether it's two for one Tuesday or bar food specials on weekdays afternoons. If you like a big giant drink for a fair price this is the place to get it. The service has always been quick and friendly. The only downside is that the food is just average, every dish on the menu is surpassed by a restaurant within a short walk. Overall good value but if it's a great meal you're after you're better off almost anywhere else on the three surrounding blocks.

Great nightly food specials, cool outdoor area on the deck out front, always nice for an afternoon drink in the sun until the live music starts and it turns into a dancefloor. The crowd is usually friendly and fun and the music great. Best place for a night out with a group of people, big or small. Really well set up for all weather with umbrellas and a retractable roof over the deck if it rains, heaters in the winter and airconditioned comfort inside. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend!

Beautiful building, went for lunch yesterday, had a great band, a bit loud but nice for afternoon chillin. U won't regret going here 👌👍 Just delicious Meals & Service. 9 adults & 2 kiddos - our table ordered steak, lamb shank, burger, fish n chips, 3 different types of dessert. The Steaks were cooked to order, lamb shanks fell off the bone, the burger had a homemade feel but 100x better. And the desserts were just perfect, KEEP that chef, theyre worth their weight in gold. And to top that off is the amazing wait staff theyre all A1, patient and courteous with skills that cant be faulted. Just perfect!

The food is decent and the staff are friendly. Major down falls- they don't have enough smaller table options outside only bar cleaners, not ideal for sitting to have a meal. The dj had good music but too loud during peak dinner time which made it hard to talk. And the biggest problem; they serve Pepsi instead of coke. It just isn't as nice and if your any sort of spirit drinker you'll know that a Pepsi mixer is terrible unless you like sickly sweet drinks.

Pizza, burger and mexican deals are very nice, and they worth the price you pay. Though, I suggest the tacco breads to be a bit crispy. Real tacco breads are crispy! The tables are a bit dirty, and dont know why, when you seat on them they are a bit sticky. But generally, I recommend it to any body as a nice place

BBQ beef pizza is amazing, would very much recommend, and for $10 at lunch it's a great deal. Drinks are averagely priced, lunches and dinners are very reasonably priced. Their 'specials' though are rather disappointing in terms of portion size and content. I have asked and apparently their special and non special items are meant to be exactly the same - but from experience they're not. The on special $2 chicken taco has half the amount of chicken in it as the regular chicken taco, which is similar for all the on special items. The food is still great tasting just don't expect the same size/quality for the on special items. Speed of food is good too, even if with large group, usually the service is very quick. Venue also has fun nights with oom-pah bands etc on Octoberfests etc. Final note, as this is a Lawrenson Group business, if you have Goody Card (available at counter) you earn 10% of your bill as credit at any Lawrenson Group business, e.g. The Bank, etc.
