We had a meat dish and that was nice. The pizza tasted like it was brought at Pam j Save and they just threw some olives and garlic prawns on top. It's okay food. Good but deffs not great. The crepes were atleast fresh fruit. It's a dece place for food.

Meal was very nice. A bit to much for me to eat but I tried. It's worth a try if you have never been there before. Support local.

Nice staff, nice pool table, nice chips. Murphy on tab. A bit expensive and pool table on the smoking area (good for smokers less for non-smokers 😏)

Friendly cool staff, food is well presented and is very delicious. You also get a complementary side dish if you order a large jug of beer! Worth visiting with friendly locals, pokies, smoking and non smoking areas for dinners or patrons... pool table with a newly formed 8 ball team ( new members welcome ) I would have joined but I live in Auckland.. will definitely visit when I return.

Lovely food, great service, great cocktails, just got a bit of a hurry up to leave 1/2 before sign said closing. But I do understand with Covid, even L2, everyone just wants to go home!

The service was wonderfully, I thought the menu was great but the pork belly was very stringy. Bacon rolled prawns were great. I had the lamb shanks which could have done with more Redwine sauce, and remove the silver skin from the meat. My partner didn't appreciate the smell of smoke inside the restaurant. All good otherwise

Great little place, the meat platter was impressive though I didn't enjoy everything on it the selection was great. Staff was friendly, nachos were pretty good too but I'd probably go with the kidney beans instead of bolognese sauce next time.

Group dining: we had two of the pasta dishes, a pizza, and fish & chips. Staff was attentive, food was generously portioned, and the fish tasted fresh as. The pizza was a little overcooked and could've done with scoring the dough before cooking; some of it bubbled up quite a lot. Had a good lunch overall, and would visit again if we're in the area and hungry.

The food we ordered I felt was value for money. My eggs benedict was in my books cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef. Good variety of meals on the menu. Friendly staff whom looked after us very well. Definitely will recommend this place to family and friends.

One of the nicest meals I've had in a while, and my 5 companions all said the same. And we were allowed to use discount vouchers we'd received even though we were 3 days early. Great customer service for your out of town customers

We ate lunch here. I had steak, mushroom sauce with salad & fries. I asked for med rare steak and it was perfect. Sauce was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Everyone else enjoyed the steak, spare ribs and burgers. Big meals.

Excellent food, generous portions, and friendly service. The atmosphere was quiet, but very warm and inviting on a cold night. The risotto was great, not stodgy at all (marvellous, why cant others do it?).

Once you get over the cigarette smell smacking you in the face like a wet towel, the service was very polite and friendly, the fish lunch was cooked to perfection and was very tasty, with probably the most delicious batter I've ever tasted on Snapper. The chips we're a little undercooked and soggy but not enough to leave me unhappy. Were there no cigarette smell, I would gladly have rated this 5*'s!

First time dining here, probably be the last, while the staff were amazing and the place itself was nice, the food was a NO!!! I had the pork belly which was dry as hell and whatever the purple thing was underneath(Think it was kumara mash) it tasted off! The rest of whatever was on my plate was just okay!

Second time here, first time for breakfast. Absolutely amazing, just because it's Hamilton's cheapest Eggs Benedict don't think that means a reduction in quality. The free flat white was the icing on the cake, total bill was half of what you would pay elsewhere. Great service, very clean, relaxed, great food. Will be back often.

Ahhh yes... The good old TDO. This place is bloody gold I'm telling you. Best pub in Hamilton by far. If your a local, you get treated like royalty, if not, still get excellent service. Grab yourself a membership and have a crack at the weekly draws. A lot of bar tabs to be won folks! Restaurant food is of amazing quality. Cheers to the TDO crew.

The wait was long and we were the only one's in the restaurant . Kids for cheese pizza that was burnt and the kids wouldn't eat it. So they did make another one that we got when we had finshed- The staff were nice- but the food was average for price. And being called "dear" every 5 mins became super annoying also-

Great environment , just one thing needs to be addressed, serving food on a wooden board,should be a No No, as even though the board might get washed, wooden boards obsorbe bacteria, so I suggest, replace wooden boards with plastic Boards, apart from that, great bar and very friendly service ,

Have been here twice, the first time it was okay but the second time I ordered the seafood chowder and it was terrible had clumps of flour or something (thickener I suppose) it was very bland and I couldn't really eat it informed wait stuff but no refund or anything was offered.
