Awesome service, good food...good following of COVID protocols. Not wheelchair accessible unless you ask at the moment due to only one entrance being open to follow COVID restrictions...but just ask in advance and the awesome staff will sort it for you😉Everything is clean and inviting. Totally recommend, especially two for one pizza nights on a Tuesday!😊 Great environment guys! Well done💜

Had a excellent evening. The customer service was fantastic and we were well looked after. The food was delicious and I had a Gnocchi and Garlic bread and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Highly recommend this place and will be back again.

Been there today with a friend. First impression was fine, ample place, lots of seats and friendly atmosphere. Waiters were fast to attend customers and serving food. We had two different beers made in house, IPA and another one that I forgot. We had as jugs, a large and a regular one. Tasted very good, worth every drop. Fettuccine with mushrooms were delicious and enough for a hunger. Toilets were clean. It has an small outdoor area, wish it was larger because of the great weather. There is a small game lounge for the addictive players. Good for couples and groups as well. Worth coming and will be back again soon.

Food was ok, not bad, not great. More concerning is paying for a pint but only getting 425mls, as indicated on the bottom of the glasses. I believe this is called fraud?

Kids friendly environment. Good George beers on tap. Great friendly staff with table service. Plenty of street parking in easy walking distance to the bar. Plenty of seating inside with inside being bright and open. Good selection of drinks from behind the bar. Clean and tidy pub.

We have been meaning to try the Cook Street Social since it opened, finally we're able to with a grabone voucher. It was really good. Great service for a Saturday (lunch time) I had the gingerbread French toast, while my husband had the brisket pizza. We also tried the cornbread. We really liked our meals, but the cornbread wasn't to my taste (I'm from the US, and quite enjoy cornbread) All in all it was a really pleasant experience, and we would be happy to go back.

One of the most calm and peaceful place to spend your evening with yourself or with your mates and cheer up over some fine brewed beers on tap and bottles and had pleasure being served by welcoming and friendly staff they are very gaiety people there. Had an amazing time and have been to this place frequently. All in all they deserve all the stars.

Great atmosphere, decent food. The taco platter is huge so it's a good choice if a few of you are out for drinks. They have a quiz night which I hope to attend at some point. Mojitos wasn't that great though, stick with the cider as it was much better.

Had a trainee working in the bar and to serve. I noticed she took direction from her experienced coworkers when she needed to. Bar man was great, so friendly and made our night more enjoyable. We were all a bit underwhelmed with our food though. I got the Buddha Burger (I think it was called), looked a bit sad in comparison with all the other burgers but still tasted alright. Gnocchi had more beans than gnocchi itself, was a bit disappointing. Would not recommend the margarita, sorry 😅 The boards to share, I would highly recommend!!

We've been in to Good George a few times for a beer/ cider (my boyfriend is not a cider guy and he loves theirs), but today we had lunch. Their chefs are cullinary geniuses. We are vegan and this was the best meal we've had our entire stay in NZ (we spent some time in Auckland and then spent the rest of our time in Raglan/Hamilton/Rotorua). We didn't really see anything vegan on the menu and they seemed like one of the *least* vegan friendly places we'd visited, but boy were we wrong! They whipped up a vegan pizza and some vegan tacos for us and we were in heaven 😍 Their fries are also to die for (and we've been eating quite a bit of fries on this trip, since that is about the only vegan thing you can find some places)... The cider is great, the people are spectacular and the food is out of this world. HIGHLY reccommened 💕

Hands down the best place in Hamilton. I love the student discount too it’s incredibly helpful. I like that you can pick the music and the staff are always very helpful. The fried cauliflower is to die for and they’ve got great vegetarian options :) The only thing I would change is get rid of the pokies!

This is an awesome spot to visit over in Hamilton east, watched the Abs vs Tonga here 😂 I'll definitely go back again. I have not been here for quite sometime. Having now reached the ripe old age of 32 (dutifully verified by staff completing their due diligence) I was accompanied by some of my family for a casual night out... this turned into being treated to the best rendition of happy birthday in English and Teo Reo that would be the envy of our home grown L.A.B and Six60 alike, enough to make me blush and gush with awe and embarrassment in equal standing. Followed with a candle beholding melt in the mouth Icecream and decandant brownie. Thanks boys. I wont forget 32 in a hurry and ishall return! Ps. The food was pretty good too!

This place is nice. Came here to catch up with my dad. That staff were nice, the food was nice and so was the beer. I have nothing to complain about. My dad didn't like the musicians song choices though. He reckons no one should cover Neil Young because Neil Young is untouchable haha.

Not a bad place to go if you're looking for a beer, cider, something to eat, or a game that's on TV. The staff can be friendly but sometimes get pulled in too many directions or just forgets about you (happened to me more than once). Their beer selection is pretty good for the area, and so is their rewards program. The food is nothing special, haven't found anything great or awful yet. Just a good local hangout.

I'm sorry the pizza was terrible. The nachos were great, but you need an Italian in there to sort those pizzas. I felt like we were forgotten about. After ordering we watched people who arrived at least 10 - 15min later than us, 40 min later, they were served their food before us. I'd give at least 4 stars based on the nachos alone. I'm sure some of the other menu items are awesome, but too many other factors involved. However we got an offer for a free drink because of the pizza. Thanks.

What a relief to find a lovey bistro, that serves unpretentious well prepared well priced meals, served by friendly helpful staff without the ubiquitous deafening inappropriate music, that I have had to endure in every other establishment of the same ilk I have frequented. One suggestion for improvement. The hard wooden chairs are very uncomfortable for people with no bottoms, some spongy cushions would be appreciated. I'll be back.
