Fantastic Restaurant. Reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff. A brilliant menu selection..especially for hungry teenagers. We had the Burger...cooked to our specific requirements and the Steak & Stout Pie, both were delicious and full of flavour!! We will be back.

Just had a fabulous steak & mushroom pot pie and partner had the beef burger. They were delicious! Staff were friendly, they even gave me mashed spud, no charge, when I asked for it. Highly recommend.

Husband and I got the lamb shanks 2/$31 with garlic potatoes & peas. Definitely would not try this meal again (did not care for the meat's flavour and texture; did not care for the potatoes-was expecting garlic flavour, not garlic chunks); might try a different meal if I found myself back in this area though.

Great food, free WiFi, and awesome drinks. Come here strictly on Thursdays since they have a $20 NZD ribs meal special. I got 1/2kg of ribs, a full plate of steak fries, and a pint of beer! All for $20, that's a deal you can't beat. The ribs were one of the best ribs I have ever had in my life time. The steak fries were soaked in the rib sauces, but they still tasted fantastic! The beer, they served was Tui; a pretty good beer. If I ever go back to Hanmer Springs, O'Flynns would be my first stop.

Beautiful service n with a beautiful front of house n personality amongst the team they have. I highly recommend this place for meat eaters to vegans also! The food options are great n have plenty of choices for kids too! Unlike S&P they are willing to make changes to your orders to suit your food or dietary preferences!

Popular Hanmer Springs pub. Couldn't get a table the first night, so went early the next night. Family friendly. Pool table. Good food. The menu has it's own special section for sausages - much to my husband's delight.

Very friendly staff, but the food was average. Irish sausages were good, beef cobbler was warmed up and not even warmed properly, lamb shank was good but a little chewy, gravy was very salty, tasted like gravy from a packet. The atmosphere was nice so would come again for drinks, but not for food.

They work together with Monteith's it seems so you could order from either menu. They let us customise the things we ordered with different sides etc., and I was able to order a cocktail that wasn't even in the menu. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. Meals were priced as you would expect for that quality.

Fun, fun, fun all round. I've had my work function twice in Hanmer now and O'Flynns is the place we love. Friendly staff can name them all, great atmosphere and don't forget the boogie with life music on a Saturday night. Safe place for us ladies to laugh and have fun with once again another evening to remember and talk about. Keep up the great work.

The pub itself its alright, but it's one of the most popular pub in Hanmer Springs for travellers, so it's pretty busy!! Had good time playing pool and a lot of dancing with live music. Can be a good night out!

Me (sez) & best mate (lisa) went to hamner for Labour weekend. Friday / Saturday we went to O'Flynns , we experienced 10/10 service! T the bouncer AA+ we need bouncers like you back home in chch. You made both our nights , checking we were good. The bar staff also exceptional ! friendly , always smiling. We had a primo time. We have never laughed so much.
