I Had a steak meal with veges and mushroom sauce.Hubby had steak chips and salad with mushroom sauce.Meals cost $30.00 . Which is the average cost in any restaurant. So why do have to clear our own plates.Any other restaurant at those prices clear your table for you.I will say the steaks were cooked perfect. But veges were boring .

Staff are lovely and friendly Food wasn't fantastic my steak wasn't medium rare it was still mooing, my Sons fettuccine was lacking flavour but my Mum enjoyed her fish and chips. The salad did not look apealing in the salad bar so didn't have any which I am very pleased about because I later witnessed one of the male bar staff member's putting his hand in the salad and eating some of it. It's such a shame because I remember the Hawera club from many year's ago when in the old building and the restaurant was amazing.

This is a fantastic place for the family, or even a date. The club offers a range of activities including pool, dart, live music (usually on Saturdays) and much more. With very affordable good meals and a bar, you've got all you need for the perfect night out. The staff are always friendly and I'm sure you'll find that the South Taranaki Club is 'the place to be'

Attended a large birthday lunch. Nothing was any trouble for friendly efficient staff. Price very good as was presentation and quality of food. Bar staff friendly and nicely cheeky felt welcome. Great place

Nice meal with family on Saturday night. The food here is always good, good pricing and generous servings - best place to eat in town! Only downside is Thursdays are very popular so you may have a wait if dining in that day.

The staff there where so down to earth and really easy on the eyes. Atmosphere was intense due to the rugby how ever the beverages inticed me to stay followed by more hospitality. All in all a really nice place to take friends and family. Ps the aunty that drives the shuttle will pick up and drop off how cool is that.
