The local in Hāwera, where everybody knows your name. Good ole sports bar, with down to earth patrons. Always a favourite after rugaz on a Saturday and good place to pick up a few tips as well.

Mate. Mate. Dude. Bro. Do Not go to the white heart in this town. The Local is exactly what you're after if youre into your pokies , jump on the TAB or sitting in the sun with a smoke and a beer, watch the traffic go by. Not great food avaliable but the staff are just fantastic. Would recommend this place for a beer in Hawera.
