B.TA walker, got picked up by Dan together with two others and driven to Tavern. Had a great chicken burger. Really enjoyed the food, drinks and hospitality of Shane. Highly recommended.🙂
H.Brillant tavern. Great decor. Yummy food. Perfect hospitality. Please support these guys they are wonderful. Take a drive out in the weekend cos the scenery isn't too bad either.
V.Really good pub meals, can recommend the bangers and mash. Good beverage selection. As a city person this place has the character and charm I imagine rural town pubs to have. Especially recommend that Te Araroa walkers go here when you're staying at Birchwood Station.

J.This country pub is a hidden gem. Recently renovated. Great food and certainly worth the trip. Check out the motorbike hanging from the men's toilet ceiling!

Check out the toilet deco. Had a great meal as well. Watch out for Milo in the basket. Thanks Karen, the perfect hostess. Plus 49 VCC members arrived to a very cost establishment and we were greeted by the tavern team. They prepared the most delicious 2 coarse meal fit for royalty, yummmy. Thanks again Karen, and kitchen staff. A happy kitchen is a good kitchen. I'll be back, until then keep up the excellent work and yes, thank you all🌻🙃👍
