f.Nice modeler who was welcoming.
Room decor needs an update.
Clean room however bed not the most comfortable. Linen needs an update as quite faded. Bathroom cold tap worked in spurts. Shower nice and hot but very dark as no light. Soap dispenser wouldn't dispense so lucky I had my own shampoo. Hopefully it will be updated from the 70s soon as would love to stay again. Restaurant meal great.
n.Excellent place to stay! Close to beach with an awesome view! The Hosts were knowledgeable and helpfull. Our room was serviced by the great girls that work there (thanks Jade! X) Clean and tidy place to stay with a high water pressure to wash the day away. Mean surf spot as well. Thanks xx
C.The seaview is amazing but other things like outside lights were not working throughout our stay. An upgrade on decor and linen would be ideal given that the motel has been operating for several years. Other than that service and the owners were lovely. I would go again.
N.We were there for work and pleasure so the location of the Hotel being only a short drive from the town centre was perfect, as we're the views from our room. Even the overcast weather adds to the appeal of the beach and surrounds.
The rooms were lovely and clean an well maintained and included everything necessary and more.
The Staff were all kind and generous with their time. Is was awesome to get to interact with Owner's too, they were very hands-on and I like that.
I would definitely recommend a stay at #theahiparabatmotel.
P.Have to say this motel would be one of the best stays I've had in a long time , location views food cleanliness and the owners are exceptional only reason I gave 4 stars is it's summer and darn hot at night with no air conditioning in the room. Well priced though

J.We had a great stay at Ahipara Bay Motel. Our car broke down the day prior but after securing a rental, we managed to check in again after cancelling our initial booking . We thank the staff here for being accommodating of our situation.
Stunning views from the rooms.
We booked a family room which was spacious, comfortable and had a fully equipped kitchen not to mention separate Tvs with sky. Has everything you need ! We will be back.
H.AHIPARA YOU LITTLE BEAUTY!!One of NZs precious gems💚right on the coast- southern end of 90mile beach and shipwreck bay.
So sad that our two night stay wasn't long enough😢 this was our pit stop off to Cape Reinga. we stayed in room 2(right next to reception) wouldn't recommend this room for a small family. Would be more suited for a couple or if you plan just to stay a night or two. Not much privacy and got extremely hot during the night even with the fan on(summer time that is) However owners and staff we all so lovely, friendly and attentive!

Food was a hit for us, deliciousness! We'll definitely be back in the near future. This time booking the bigger room and a longer stay😊 highly recommend 10+++ from us

M.Awesome spot, rooms are good, amazing views. Very friendly service and excellent communication. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant unfortunately as it was a flying trip but would definitely stay here again and would be keen to check out the food. My only gripe would be that the shower could do with a bit more of a scrub and the microwave hadn't been cleaned with crumbs thru it - but not a major.
J.Can't go past this fantastic motel with all rooms having incredible ocean views and fantastic meals at the restaurant. The hosts have been there for years and remember my elderly parents and they make them feel very special. They have been known to stay after restaurant and drink and talk to my father, which he loves. They treat everyone with respect and friendship. Best place to stay.
Y.Wonderful view, very nice location. Our stay is very nice and comfortable, would have been even better if the weather was great. Rain starts and stop many times during day so it is hard to go for walking. Staff are kind and friendly.

B.The views are excellent out over the start of 90 mile beach. Bed was comfortable. Outdoor deck space. Sky TV in both lounge and bedroom. My bathroom had a funny smell like an old drain. Carparking directly outside the door of your unit. Restaurant does stone grill and was pretty good with great views again. Owners very friendly and helpful.
S.Awesome views & accommodation but when it came to dinner at their restaurant, I had to return my plate due being given food I cant eat or I end up on the toilet off & on for next 12-16 hours which is a problem due to us being on a motorbike. But it was lovely meal once sorted..but just makes oneself and staff uncomfortable when you point out I cant eat this, which was stated upon ordering our meal. Other than that was a lovely experience.
A.A lot of people being rowdy and drinking on a Wednesday. Hosts responded to my complaint quickly which is much appreciated. Beautiful view.
D.Brilliant views across the bay from the end of 90 mile beach, the room was ok, the owners were very friendly and the restaurant was adequate. Great walks along the beach and if you are into surfing I would imagine you would be in surfers heaven. It is a good base for the very north if you have a car or take one of the coach trips that drive along the beach up to cape Reinga.
