Great place to get a free, drink a few beers, hit the pokies and watch some sport on the Telly. Regularly do meal specials such as the famous $15 steak Thursday night and $18 burger and beer night on Monday. The photo in the review is the great fall back option - the 3 person platter which gives a great 2 person meal with left overs for the next day. And staffed by a top crew

Had a lovely day with some family members. Service was great , food delicious and it was my first time there. Even though it was in a level two still had an fabulous time. Though the food was more on a masculine side meals burgers, lamb shanks ribs, beef and Chicken. Though there was a couple of salsas and kids meals. Though that is my opinion and point of view and would never say not to give it ago if you have never been there. As I still would back there. Other than that it was great.

Very nice place to grab some lunch. I had the Chicken Parmigiana. The portion size was great and the chips were delicious. One of the meals that was ordered was the roast of the day. It was only $13 on a Sunday. This was really good value for $13 but it was a little smaller than what was expected. Overall a really nice place for some food. I would definitely recommend trying the food here.

Very friendly staff and very nice meals

Service was timely, menu knowledge very high, quality of food consistent. Atmosphere in the restaurant excellent. We were early and our table was already set and with water too. Menu selection covers everything required even for children too. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years for a meal every now and then. Every time service has been cruisey, have always had good quality food and enjoyed the warm atmosphere. They do need to upgrade their women’s bathroom though. Few dinks to sort out.

We had a good meal here. I had the beef burger that was excellent. Marg had Chicken Parmagiani that also got a thumbs up. Ice cream sundae for dessert. The lovely young lady that served us was efficient and welcoming. Nice decor and clean toilets. The Famous Grouse had good, well-priced meals and a good selection of drinks. I'll be back!

What a fantastic place!!! 7of us came for a Sunday breakfast and enjoyed every moment. Service was fantastic and food delicious. Highly recommended French toast, eggs Benedict and big breakfast. Music was good too They've been very accommodating with kids as well and will definitely coming back. What a gem!

Excellent atmosphere n friendly staff.. Live Band playing so we got to kick up our heels for a coupley dances.. Definately went Above n Beyond at our night spent here after the Selwyn Sounds.. Much Thanks to the rebulicans who helped fix me up after a wee mishap with the car window, and helping the man and I carry on home safely.. Many Thanks guys at Famous Grouse Lincoln.. Very accommodating when we arrived without a booking for 14 people. The meals were large. The ribs would feed two people.

Friday lunch stop in. Friendly staff. Lots of menu options. Nice atmosphere. Started with starters but had to stop there as we didnt realise we had ordered so much food. Ribs and chicken. Ribs were the pick of the day. Will be coming back to try something different.

For how much they charge for motel it is not great. No internet, no sky tv, no smart tv. The coffee was yuck and no continental breakfast. The man staying down by the outside exit with his kids(must be the builder) the whole hallway smelt of stale cigarettes and had just dumped his big load of butts on the outside stairwell, so gross!!! The only thing that was reasonable in the room was the shower. Had dinner in the Hotel was real good. Great friendly staff

Newly rebuilt on the site of the historic pub site the rooms over the bar are clean, smoke-free and well sound-proofed. Very friendly staff.

Go for the quiz night every Tuesday which are a blast and definitely made by the host Leroy. Surprisingly good food for a rural pub and club prices on the drinks are always a treat. 5 stars

Pleasant pub to go to. As an older person I felt that it got a little noisy on a Friday or Saturday night with the students, but that's me and not the pup.
