Great bar, that has everything you need for a good night. During the day, it's a very nice Cafe that has great coffee and offer some great hand made pizza, amongst other great food. All of which are very good value for money. We also did their hot chicolate challenge. The unicorn themed beverage is amazing and not as sweet as it looks. As you would imagine the kids loved it and would be hard to beat. It's also very reasonably priced. Staff here are fantastic and always on hand for help.

Great chill place for a couple after work. Staff have always been interactive with customers, regardless of the turnover of staff over the years. They always seem to hire good quality barstaff...met so many over the years & they're all really great people. 5/5 stars.

I have been here a lot over the last few years. Had my 30th birthday here a few years back (when it was Chappelis) A couple of weeks ago on a Tuesday, my friend and I went there for lunch and then we went back today. $14 large pizzas on a Tuesday! The pizzas are amazing! Very friendly staff. Really recommend. Very good prices. Can't fault anything 😃❤

Quick and easy. Staff were good. Pizza is OK I dropped in when it was $10.00 pizza night. Parking available on road or in riverbank carpark. Went back today to try burger offering for WOAP, I had "The Heatwave" burger fairly bland tasting. Staff related well with patrons I guess they were regulars. Interior has been improved with themed memorabilia on the walls. Note surprised when the person I was eating with was asked to remove cap or turn it around for security reasons. I was OK with that but the person on a table behind us had a cap on facing forward he didn't come across as a regular? Three stars is too high and two stars is too low, I will stick with 3 after this visit. Nice relaxed atmosphere but food was short of the mark.

Came in tonight close to closing with two best mates, we hadn’t caught up in ten years - the two female staff were awesome and let us request/played our tunes which brought back so many memories and nostalgia. That’s really what it’s all about, isn’t it? 💙

I’ve been this establishment many times. The staff are extremely kind and professional. The food is excellent, they have a wide range of food so there should be something for everyone. The bartender has always been able to recommend a great beer. Hope to continue to eat and drink at this outstanding venue for years to come.

This place has a lot of potential with great staff ( truly brilliant in welcoming and service and meals, definitely doing their best) and a great central location in Lower Hutt CBD. I rate 3 stars on staff effort alone. This was the first post lockdown opening up of bars and restaurants, so I take that into consideration. Its been a long time for staff and owners to wonder and worry about when they can open again. It seems to me to need the manager to take an honest look at the food ordering and the time taken to get ordered food to customers. Please note I am not criticising the three staff I saw in action, they were having a super human go at keeping everyone happy. I saw one staff member doing reception, bar, food orders and service, one chef and one other kitchen staff. All were flat out. At times no one seemed to know who had ordered what while staff member was balancing a couple of plates full of food and trying to serve.....not knowing who.... A very long wait from ordering to service. Is it possible to use numbers is take orders and give each person a number in front of them. Maybe get the first orders to the chef asap so meals can start being prepared? Please improve on this, Roadhouse, and I'll be recommending you to everyone. Also friend ordered one small serve of chips and one beer ( Steinlarger I think) costing $16. So, how much were the chips and how much was the beer ? Great potential, I'd be happy to go there again when they get the too slow order/ service issue resolved.

Very friendly and welcoming. Good service. Perhaps lacked ambience , but it was empty on a summer Friday evening. Pizza's freshly prepared, wouldn't call it gourmet but would be easy to fix. We were there for a meal rather than an experience and the staff made it a good one.

Good bar and restuarant in the heart of Lower Hutt. Good range of reasonably priced drinks and food. Definitely worth checking out the oven-fired pizzas. The staff are friendly and professional. Lots of space, plenty of tables. Worth a look.

My husband and I ate here last week for our weekly date. Service was average (nothing bad but nothing to push it above average). Food was outstanding. Delicious and good value as well. May want to warn people that the garlic breads are quite large! Cheers

Sorry but not great! Food took forever to turn up. Pizza was cold however was reheated when requested! Staff very friendly, and helpful, however felt there was some communication, confusion between bar staff and kitchen staff.

We had a party there on the 13.1.18 and the manager there Nick was great ,he cratered to every need to that night ,was very friendly and helpful and made or night easy and relaxed .platters came out on time , all round was great and we would deffently go back in the near future. Also slots of the friends, family said that it was a great night and will us the service due to the relaxed and chill environment.

Now has a new name, something along the lines of Roadhouse. Another table had ordered burgers and when they were brought out they looked huge. We had the Tuesday night special, $10 pizza, they were quite good value, freshly hand made and tasted great.

On Saturday 23 June 2018, we held a fundraiser Karaoke night @ Chapelli's. It was easy to organise, the platter food was great and everyone had a great time. Nick and the other staff were helpful, fun and helped make the evening a success in spite of the low turnout.

Part sports bar (on the account of having 4 flat screen TVs) but mainly a bar. The side orders are good with the chips having a real crisp chips thing in them. Have kareoke which we all used. All-in-all the proprietor was pretty cool about it.
