We visited early post of the week and was not disappointed. The service and quality of the meal was fantastic. The surf and turf stone grill was so yummy I really could have done with another skewer of the prawns they were that good. The rib eye steak was very good too. Topped off with a side of beer. Will definitely be back.... Soon!!

Love the food, restaurant is beautiful but i didn't not like the owners (husband & wife) manner, they need to step back and let someone else run the place because their vibe aren't very welcoming. Sorry if this offense you. Stating facts Phone operator very rude!.

Friendly, helpful and warm owner and his staff. Great food! Loved the stone-grilled options. Portion sizes were perfect. Also loved the chocolate fondue. Xoxo

Not to bad. Service was probably the worst part. Older man was very rushed and panicked. Asked for water twice didn’t get it. Steak is served tomato sauce. Wouldn’t go back for the price

Went to this restaurant sat night. We're from out of town & were looking for somewhere nice. I googled masterton restaurants & found it. Arrived at 6pm & was welcomed by a very nice man ( he's the owner ) . Chose seafood chowder as a starter, it was absolutely lovely. Creamy & full of seafood. I had steak, eggs,chips, steak done perfect. Hubby had a stone grill steak, came out sizzling, just cut a piece off , turn torn done. Food was outstanding. Owner friendly & attentive. Would highly recommend this place

On this day I had the best pork belly of my life here! The 5 spice pork belly is to die for! And the service is amazing the entire staff are so friendly such a great place absolutely love it! Also the staff are amazing with kids such a child friendly atmosphere :)

The food is generally good but whenever the kids are with us we don't feel very welcome. Nice environment though, outdoor area has a nice ambience. Would give a 4 or 5 if we weren't made to feel that our kids were a hassle

Awesome service from everyone on the staff that we met tonight. They couldn't do enough to make our dinner a night out. And for the kitchen.... excellent rib-eye and generous proportions made for a great evening out.

The food here is great, as is the beer. Unfortunately on multiple occasions the owner has been quite rude. This is a shame as every time I have visitors I bring them here. On two occasions my visitors have been taken back by the way the owner has spoken to us.

Arrived in town late and decided a pub style meal was the go. Ventured into CBK and enjoyed a great meal. Good quality food at a fair price. Friendly and efficient staff and nice casual atmosphere.

Varied menu. Welcoming and prompt waitstaff. Burger a tad undercooked and not as described in menu (no avo, slaw instead of lettuce, etc) but still tasty. Hard surfaces lend to the noise if crowded.

Despite a slightly rough welcome, I think we caught the proprietor out a little by asking for food when the kitchen wasn't open for another half an hour. After that though while enjoying the craft beer and well presented food we were more than happy

Food was pretty good, service was OK but bit of a shame to have so many smokers next to us in the non smoking area outside.

Stone grills and chocolate fondue were great fun. We enjoyed the meals and drinks. The staff were friendly.

Was lovely and quick service. It was our first time going in , we were welcomed quickly and treated respectfully. Its pricey for what you get but it was worth it for the quality. We walked in with a young child under 2 and they were very accommodating for that . We had a lovely time and experience. Would definitely go back.

Stopped in for some nibbles and a beer for lunch. The chicken dishes were stunning and the curly fries could not be faulted. Perfect location for yummy crunchy nibbles.

CBK Masterton is an awesome cafe / restaurant that just hums. It is superbly fitted out, great menu, 60 beers to chose from and the staff are wonderful. You are welcomed from the moment you arrive. Quality surroundings and quality service cumulate into a memorable experience.

Excellent service, knowledgeable owners who seems to enjoy what they do. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in town.

Nice bar and some great beers on tap! A little empty for a Friday night which is cool, but should probably look at organizing some fun parties there to bring in more people through the door.

A lovely friendly craft beer bar with a solid beer and cider selection and a comforting menu of salads, burgers and steaks. The "street food" menu is good for sharing, with a few more unusual options such as tacos and bao buns. Great ambience and decor, like a very cool diner with a hip-vintage vibe. There's a smoke free outdoor seating area and an accessible entrance (wheelchair lift and handrail).

Awesome guys with a funky venue for dinner. Drinks and meals are average but resonable price. Stonegrills were full of selection.

Bar food. Eat the bao and bahn mi. Could be better. Burgers looked better. Give cookie pie a miss. Good choice of drinks.

Normally love this place, but couldn't get served last night. Got seated after 5 minutes, then waited another 10 and left.

Family enjoyed, the atmosphere, the food and the welcoming staff/owners, and choosing the music that played.

Went to most cafes in Masterton and my husband thought CBK Masterton did the best coffee around. Had breakfast and dinner here also and really enjoyed both meals.

Service is great and the food is yumm. Very pleasant family dining.

Great staff and great new menu! Absolutely delicious and my first stonegrill experience was amazing! Must try smoked ribeye for sure. Highly recommend, new management is doing very well.
