We had some fabulous food in a lively courtyard setting. We chose oysters and a selection of starters that were all beautifully presented with care and attention to detail from the kitchen. The best jalapeño poppers that I've ever had too.

Absolutely I would come back this place. Lovely gas fires around, warm and nice atmosphere, yummy food. The staffs are amazingly kind and helpful, and especially a girl has an amazing customer service skill. I can not be more satisfied. At first I thought, it is a bit pricey bit worth to try with nice people.

We had our day after function for our wedding here and it was SO much fun. The food was amazing and the staff were so accomodating and relaxed. Highly recommend for any function/special event. Thanks to all the Hide team!

Hide is a great name as this place really is well hidden. You walk down a narrow walkway between buildings and find yourself in a beautiful courtyard. We went for Dumpling Sunday when all orders of dumplings (6 per order) are $10, a good deal. We had three orders, trying the mushroom, the prawn, and the Korean sesame beef (this last one was deep fried). All were delicious. This atmosphere is really lovely, some tables covered, some in the sun, and a small indoor area, too. They have a nice selection of beer. We thought the service was terrific, too.

Hide is really great place. Once you walk in, believe me, for some reason you want to stay...it is some kind of vibe that just takes you to the first available seat. Staff is great, always ready to chat and give you good advice about the food or drink. Music is set to perfect volume and is just right. Food is great...not really an oyster lover...and now after recommendation of the waiter...turned into oyster addict. Thank you guys, you are great... keep it going, hope to see you soon.

If you’re in the mood for craft beer and great bar food in a garden bar setting, this is possibly the best option in the Mount. I must admit that I was a little hesitant when I read that it’s a Moa bar. Their beers are pretty mainstream now. However they do have non-Moa options as well. The food is better than your average bar food. We had the ocean platter and it was so good. Often platters rely heavily on fried food, but not this one. The highlight was the charcoal bamboo coating on the prawns. Laid back atmosphere and good service as well make this a place to visit often.

Great vibe, live music on Sunday afternoon, superb service and yummy food. Happy hour from 5-6. I recommend the Hide platter and sangria.

Been coming to Hide since it opened, they have had staffing issues that can sometimes leave us going somewhere else. But we had an excellent lite dinner here last night an had service we have come to expect from Hide. Quick tasty food with drinks served at the perfect summer temperature in a very timely manner for the amount of people seated. Make sure you make the very short walk down the alley way to check out the Hide setup which is great year round.

Our first experience of Hides Winter menu last night was wow - with some stand out small plates such as the Kingfish Sashimi, Butternut Gnocchi and salt and pepper Fried Chicken getting us underway. But pace yourself as the Short Ribs, 450g Rib Eye or Leak and Preserved Lemon Risotto are also tasty treats. And then there is the Peanut Butter Banoffee Pie or White Chocolate Cheesecake to mention just a couple of the tempting deserts to negotiate. Bring your friends as Hide offers a fantastic sharing experience. Our solution to all the taste temptations was to return for lunch today!

Nice service, good food, recommend dessert, only complaint the music is far to loud. Challenging to have a conversation. Liked the kind of music but should be rather background.

Great little bar by the mount, a good place to go if wanting to unwind or catch up with some friends. Not a party bar, but good times can definitely be had. Pretty international crowd. Good quality beer. Expect to pay around $10 a glass. Casual dress, but keep it tidy. All round good atmosphere, not too loud so the sort of place you can actually have a conversation whilst enjoying so bevvies.

Good selection of food and beers, including some craft beer options on tap. We had a couple of pizzas, and a selection of the small plates. All the food was pretty good. Service was good. Nice outdoor area with plenty of heating and blankets. If you're looking for a cool spot, chilled vibes, good drink and good food, then you can't go wrong with these guys.

I couldn't recommend Hide Thirst & Hunger enough! Tucked away down a short alleyway off the main street, Hide is a beautiful garden paradise. Cool atmosphere, food to die for, and absolutely LOVELY staff (who also just happen to love dogs, which is always a win). Definitely go there, rain or shine, if you're in the area :)

Had a catch up with a friend here. Awesome atmosphere, cool layout and very good service. Pizza was very good. I would not recommend it for a friends catch up that you haven't seen in ages because the music can be a bit too loud and you can't talk properly. But even like that was a very nice experience! Planning to go back with my partner soon

Nice hidden bar down the alley. Seems to be a very popular place. Fantastic service and they had a vegan, gluten free pizza which was nice. Definitely going back. Edit: We went back 6 months later and it was quite good. But they have put a goats head on the wall which we don't remember last time. Unfortunately this drops the status of the place a bit.

I found it incredibly hard to hear people talk once the place got busy. Noise just seemed to bounce around where we were sitting. The food was okay. The drinks were good. Service was friendly although the drinks were a little slow and we had to follow up twice, apparently it was just busy. Not really the place for me.

A very nice place, hide on a busy street on The Mount. Walking an open hall, you will find an open garden. Have a selection of good crafties. Food is ok. The reason I’m giving an average score is because of the service. It’s slow and once when I order a dish they bring it when the wrong side, when asking the waiter answer very blunt that they don’t have more smash and gave me another without even ask.

The food and atmosphere was good. What let the establishment down was the lack of service and the awkward fact of having to leave your credit card behind the bar and only paying when leaving. Something to do with the liquor licence which doesn't let you purchase drinks at the bar. It does get busy on a Friday night and this is where the struggle with service starts. Otherwise it's a nice place to enjoy a quick drink and a bite to eat.

This hidden away restaurant was awesome. A work mate and I had lunch there the other day. We sat at one of the outside sunny tables and were very warm and comfortable, the service was amazing, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, the food was good and came out quick. We left wanting for nothing. Will definitely go back when I am next in the area.

Came in on a Friday evening to score a free pizza. It was difficult to find the restaurant as it is tucked away but what a cool setting! Great outdoor seating and braziers to keep poodle warm, indoors is cosy. It was pretty busy for the time of night and all different types of groups; trendy millennials (lol), after work drinks and couples. We had the seafood pizza and loaded fries. Both were AMAZING. Would love to go back and try more of the menu. Staff were really friendly too!

Seriously seriously tasty food. Lovingly handmade and you can tell by the taste. They obviously take a great deal of pride in the food they serve and the quality of the ingredients they use. Friendly and attentive staff but certainly not overbearing. Highly recommended.

I got the chicken fig pizza, while it's one of my favorite pizza, this was a let down. Staff were friendly, and atmospher was nice, but there were definitely too many smokers/vapers for my comfort
