The BEST Burger in Mount Maunganui. I’ve tried every burger joint in the the mount in the last 7 years and The Barn has consistently been the best burger.

We just had this food delivered to us. Our first time eating your food. Absolutely amazing burgers and dessert. And the food arrived hot. We will definitely eat here again.

The food was amazing. I custom made the chicken burger and it was an experience. The starter yuca fries were very good as well, but were a bit too heavy for me. The staff were very polite and quick, the burger place was very clean with good lighting and seating. The tables could have been a bit cleaner and I am docking one star because my table was sticky. Overall very satisfied with the food and I liked that the menu was diverse enough to offer options.

Met up with a couple friends for dinner here. They had both outdoor and indoor seating. Service was very good and the food was delicious. I ordered the eye fillet steak with vegetables and mushroom sauce. Was very very good. Happily go back here and recommend this place to other out of towners.

Went here tonight for the first time. Not sure what to expect. Wouldn't normally order a burger but so glad I did. It was fantastic. The filling was very generous and the buns not too big. Will definitely be back.

Tucked away from the the main street you will find the best place for burgers! I had the best lamb burger 🍔 ever here. Would like to highly recommend this place to everyone. Followup on Aug 31. Went for burgers and expected the same quality but unfortunately the burgers were dry and tough. Service was prompt and friendly. Bit disappointed in the burgers though.

Lovely food, great service. Just off the main street so it's not so loud and over whelmed by walkers by.

We found this lovely quit place, to drink coffee after night walk on the beach, at 10pm. Tucked away from the buzz of the pubs on the main street.

The location of the restaurant is inside the roadway, so it is a safe place for the child. The atmosphere is warm and the baby food and chairs are well prepared. The food is delicious and full. On the day I visited, there was a special burger. The servers always filled my needs and at the restaurant we went to celebrate my birthday, we got happiness.

I risk in saying it is the best burger that I have ever ate! The smell constantly coming from the kitchen you know it is a good food! Highly recommend. Good place for beers also.

Super people - Lucas & Marianna, Fernanda & Inae. Delicious - Bites, Burgers, Seafood Chowder & fresh Salads. A lovely outdoor area away from cars & crowds. 100% recommend.

I think I ate the best tasting burger of my life here. The combination of ingredients used compliments each other so we'll that the end product tastes as if it has been kissed by the gods. The strawberry thickshake is certainly well worth checking out too. Great wee bar with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff

These guys knocked it out of the park. Ordered black bean & fish burgers. Both were amazing. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Yum! The Haloumi Salad was amazing, as was the Chicken Burger. We didn't have room for dessert, very filling. Will come here every time we come to Tauranga. Friendly staff.

The best burger I've ever had! Well cooked and presented. My friend had a steak and was amazed with it as well (veggies were yum as)! Attentive waitstaff, very clean and cosy atmosphere. Would definitely come back and recommend! Thank you The Barn Team for this wonderful experience!

Burger was not that great and chips were average. Staffs are nice. Price is just okay. There's a little cute cat which is the best part but I can't say their food is nice.

I would definitely dine here again. I have added it to my list of best places to eat. They have got a great selection of foods on their menu and are also very accommodating to different diets. I was very happy with my bun less salmon burger. It looked great and was cooked to perfection. My son had the kids fish and chips. He said it was the best fish hes had. The restaurant it self looks awesome with clean fresh decor. The staff are great very friendly and attentive. To sum up - excellent quality food, great service, reasonably priced overall very enjoyable experience.

Excellant burgers, definitely worth a visit. Service was a little slow, but we did go on the $15 Wednesday special. Which is fries and a burger (100gram beef pattie or black bean burger) with a drink. Will definitely go back.

Being locals this was on our must try list. So glad we did. Delicious burgers! As well as the sun soaked outdoor location with no traffic... the menu options tempted us enough to return.

Had the lamb burger which was very delicious and cooked well. Fries were seasoned great too. Staff were friendly, dropped a star as we had to wait 40 mins for food but they did mention this to us when ordering. Would go again, perhaps when the Mount isn't too busy.

This is definitely the best place for a burger in town. It's a big feed and really yummy. If you are a meat lover, try their Beef Rib Burger. You won't regret.

Good service, but food didn't match price. Better chips at KFC and a lot cheaper. Beef ribs were so tender, BBQ sauce alright, but there was something like onion skins on top? Steak was asked to be cooked blue, but was actually medium, maybe medium rare at best. It was so tender and delicious, but small piece. We all went someone else to eat afterwards. We also got the chicken and bacon, had some really nice elements, but a strange after taste, almost a frostbite taste. Wouldn't go again if looking to be fulled on a main.

Still the best burgers in town . Unfortunately the service was very poor. The staff working there seemed more interested in playing with the computer rather thank take our drink orders or clearing dirty plates.

I'm so pleased that we spotted this lovely bar and grill. Top marks for everything about this bar from the wonderful food to the realy great IPA beer. But most of all the superb service of the bar staff, I mean realy top class. So a big thanks to Inae the bar person and Mariana the waitress. Truly lovley people . Highly recommended see photos attached.

Burgers and presentation were a winner for me and partner. Tasty and delicious. Service was great. 2 down falls tho, as a big woman with hips, the chairs were digging into my sides, not a comfortable chair to go with a lovely place. 2nd was the Baked Alaska, or in out words, a burnt blobbly Alaska! See photos. Hardly any components in the inside and the Meringue was....... still clucking! Be sure to ask next time how they bake their desserts, esp for $11.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Burgers were fine, onion rings could be better, batter too thick and sauce didn't taste like homemade sauce.

Booked with a group of 8, we had to wait to order drinks. However wait staff was doing the best they can with our food orders. Food was very good when it arrived, waiting 45 mins+ for great food. Craft beer on tap.

This is a great place to eat with the family. They have the best seedless buns ever and taste great. This is a perfect place to eat, if you're fussy. There is also a flower, antique, art gallery, and a clothing shop.

This gem is hidden away but its well worth a visit. All sorts of great burgers (I had pulled pork) and really fun service too. Really positive experience. Highly recommended.

Multiple mouthgasms. Everytime I try something new in this place it's better than the previos thing. The burgers, the ribs, the crispyness of the fries.. All of their mayo sauces are to die for! Combine that with good beer and you've got a winner! I really recommend this to anyone in the area. Even worth a detour :D

The Barn has fantastic large burgers. Everything we ordered was delicious. I recommend the nutella thickshake which was attractive and delicious. This is a must-try if you are in Mount Maunganui!
