Nice spot for a drink, with their own brewed beer and cider (cider being their focus) which were yum. Service was good, with nice spacious seating arrangements. But food was just ok, more pubby less restaurant.

Nice location and decor. Mediocre service at best. Lady serving us just wasn't interested. Food is priced well but is average. Nachos were borderline burnt and pasta lacked any kind of flavor. Suspect people are only visiting because of the location and the association with Three Wise Birds. I hope management gears up or this place might meet the same fate as the last 2. I wouldn't be returning anytime soon and cannot recommend to others.

Called in for a drink , 2 wines ,2 beers and of course a large antipasto platter . It's the first time I've ever asked for a doggy bag after just a platter . The waitress was ever so obliging .

Lovely place for a drink, fun decor and they have a great pool table. Nice to have a big range of cider on tap.

A superb dining experience with fantastic service! Let your server choose the dishes for you if you can! Everything tasted wonderful and the spacing between courses was perfect. Attentive but not intrusive table service - the whole experience was devine. Our Server nita, she was awesome. She took our order very patiently and talked to us in a very nice way. Food and service is all top notch.

Meal was nice..but table not wiped, we were not offered anymore drinks and we sat there waiting for quite a while..we even had to ask for a waiter to take our order when no one came back after 15mins to take it. They were not busy! Disappointing!

Fantastic place for lunch, good service and tasty food. Rare to find a place that might rely on foot traffic alone rather than quality service to make money. Would recommend.

Very good food and service. Last time I was there they made a little mistake with the food but were really friendly about it and gave me free fries. Haha. Lovely staff.

After Hawkes Bay Anniversary work drinks at Portside in Napier - good food, good drink, great service and Ella performing in the corner - great way to finish the week.

Decided to check this place out with hubby. Sat outside, prompt service . Shared a prawn starter ,then had the lamb contif and beef spare ribs. Both meals were ample and cooked to perfection . Waitress was very attentive, we didn't wait long between courses . Food and staff are awesome 👌 we will be back

A great place to have a meal, meet up, have a glass of wine to coffee. Warm and inviting. Large groups? Not a problem with not one yet two board rooms. Definitely recommend as staff are friendly, knowledgeable and excellent chefs!

Great in summer with generous outdoor dining. Service was very friendly and genuine. Food was delivered very fast and was delicious. Only criticism is that it can get very loud inside if crowded due to the sound echoing off all the wood.

Excellent service and great portions. Staff went the extra mile to ensure our five boys had a great experience there also. Delicious mains - the snack nacho plate was enormous and tasty. The confit lamb was a generous portion of lamb as well. Dessert was delicious also. Will definately return when we're next in Napier.

Stopped bye for drinks (and not food). Ciders were excellent, but staff were not too knowledgeable about them. Setting is great. Worth a visit.

Went for lunch and enjoyed the very reasonably priced food, which arrived in good time from ordering, and quickly to all our group of 26. It was an impressive effort! It doesn't absorb sound so it was extra noisy, but apart from that, I found it enjoyable, roomy and pleasant. Thank you to the owners and staff!

Lovely new establishment. We’ve been here twice in the short time they’ve been open, and enjoyed both times - one for dessert and drinks, and another time for dinner. Amazed by the food, and the service. We had a young guy (black curly short hair) serve us both times, his energy is unmatchable. Very kind, and very happy - great service!

Wow, Loved it!. Food was great and generous portions too !! fabulous staff Niha fit us in & was very welcoming and explained. girl could tell you indepth about the food served on the menu. Great if you have food alergies. Highly recomended !! we're very accommodating for one of our groups dietary needs. Food was amazing definitely be back next time we are in town.

We had dinner there last night. The meals were excellent and the dessert was lovely also. We would definitely recommend to others. We would go back next time we are in town.

Very enjoyable meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Liked how the tables weren't on top of each other and easy to move around. Highly recommend and we will definitely go again

An awesome new place. Is a total must to try. It used to be the Hogs Breath.which we loved. But so different. Fresh clean looking,so different. The food and wine.is outstanding. People you need to give it a go. 100% from my husband and me.

Great place with great food at reasonably priced. Great staff. Was a little cool for dinning and menu's a little hard to read in ambient lighting. Overall a great experience. A must dine out experience. Roll on summer it will be pumping.

Staff are a bit overwhelmed at the counter and serve others in front of people who have been waiting longer. We saw it happen quite a few times while we were there and some people just walked out. Bit disappointing as the food was good and the table service was accurate.

Perfect outdoor dining area when the weather is right. Indoors lovely spaces out. Lovely clean, friendly restaurant. Staff are lovely too. Food is very good.

Had lunch here today with my dad i had the fish and chips my dad had the steak we both enjoyed our meals and the service was polite and quick

Great place for a beer, a meal and to meet friends. They are about to undertake some modifications to make the place even better by improving the acoustics. Five stars when that is completed!

Having finally returned to Napier for a visit post COVID restrictions, this was a great fine for me. My sister and I were looking for somewhere easy with good food and comfortable atmosphere for an early dinner. We had a great experience, excellent food and our waitress was very attentive. Well done. I will be back in my next visit.
