V.Fantastic range of whiskys and a great atmosphere. The staff member serving us was fantastic, really knowledgeable and friendly.
D.We arrived at this bar and were sat pretty quickly. They have outdoor heaters and provide you with blankets also. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the prices weren't too high. I had mocktails and the drinks still looked and tasted great. Although they ran out of the banana leaf, for the drink called Banana Old Fashion, the group really enjoyed them but they just didn't look as pretty by the end of the night. One thing that made me drop a star is the amount of time that it took to bring out the drinks. It is far too long and would suggest that maybe an extra mixologist is on site on busy nights. Another thing that made me drop the star is the cleanliness of the toilets, it wasn't really up to scratch and the smell was rather foul.

H.From interior design perspective, Kismet Bar is the place offering the inspiring.
The space was created into welcoming & mysterious atmosphere, it triggers my curiosity for discovering the space.
The most impressive point is more than decorating style here, the owner put the history of Nelson city inside of the materials he chose. If curious about the connection between the old pieces of wine barrel wood on the bar bench and the old painting on the wall? Go to ask the owner.
Meaningful interior design should fill the cultural contents inside the space, beside the colour scheme, materials and decorations etc. here it is for one good study case.
K.What a lovely place! My husband and I had an amazing time at Kismet. Great customer service. The polenta fries are a must-do, very crunch. We can't wait to go back and try different drinks and whiskey!

H.Terrific fun. Very attentive staff who are quite the showmen, especially if you arrive early evening and view the effusive greeting rituals as they clock on. Willing to be challenged on their version off the classic Sidecar, which while delicious did not come with a salt rim as my friend preferred and had experienced in her travels around Aotearoa and overseas. A cocktail powered walk home up the hill was the way to go.
A.Fabulous find.. if you have a craving for a flavour, but don't know what the name of the cocktail is, or if it even exists... they'll tailor make it for you, with impeccable service.

V.Best place to go in Nelson. Great atmosphere, I met some great people. The team are absolutely amazing, they go above and beyond. The best cocktails...I recommend the Leaf & Blossom, the Brumble, El Chapo and Wolfburn Whiskey. Book a table, you definitely wont be disappointed. Will def be back
V.I very rarely write reviews but this is an exceptional little spot. Every detail of Kismit seems to have been thought out and executed to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxing, the drinks are beautiful, and Simon, our server was lovely. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable which is something that alot of places strive for but ultimately miss their mark. Highly recommend this place, and thanks for a great night.

p.Was pleasantly surprised to visit this little inner-city gem.... haven't a clue if they serve food...but if they do , I'd like to think it's as good as everything else I noticed.....only popped in on a whim the excellent vodka numbed any senses of good decision making ability quite futile....... recommend 👍👍👍

J.Arrived about 9ish on a Friday night and place was filling up quite quickly. DJ playing some cool boogie, modern dance tunes. A couple of 20 something groups filed in, by ut were served quite quickly and disappeared to the upstairs area. I had a very well prepared Negroni ( my favourite) and my 3 friends chose something else from the quite extensive cocktail menu. We were lucky 4 people left their table as we arrived, so got a good table near the bar. Popular place. I'd go back for the quality cocktails, service and the music. I'd recommend getting a table early if you are thinking of having a bender here.also, some outside seating goverlooking Hardy St.

D.Went to here for the first time last weekend so glad I did it was an experience was lovely to watch host make your cocktail and they were happy to make some that were not on the drinks list and also inventive with there drinks it was lots of fun nice easy going team.i ordered the lamb meat balls to nibble on with drinks and they were so juicy and flavorful melt in the mouth and very saucey was nice having tasty homemade bread to sock up lovely juicy sauce..the taste buds were alive I recomend coming to kismet cocktail &Whisky bar for amazing food and drinks.
