Phenomenal veggie burger! Definitely ordering again! And paired with outstanding selection of beers on tap... we may need a second round! Excellent service and lovely place to sit and chat. Love the Sprig!

Busy Friday night and we (2) managed a leaner table at the street front. Food was great (monkfish burger, small plates - mushroom arancini, and popcorn shrimp) drinks (beer flight) a treat and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the visit and I can see why it was recommended.

Excellent beetroot, beef & feta salad, and crisp chips. Marred by staff not wearing masks or exemption badges, and many maskless customers standing at the bar to reorder. Makes it difficult to feel safe to return.

Great atmosphere. Large range of craft beer. Good range of tasty pub food. Pizzas and chips are recommended. Sprig and Fern brew their own beer in Nelson. Several pubs around the city. This one is in a great location near the park and a short walk to the beach.

We like this place. If you want a quiet beer and a bet and maybe a punt on the pokies, this is a goer. But be warned that the locals are opinionated and sometimes may, inadvertently or otherwise, offend! We haven't tried the food but the range of beer on tap is excellent.

Over 10 different beers on tap, and all locally brewed. There is bound to be one you'll like. Also two nice ciders available. The food is surprisingly good for a bar. From what I've seen and heard it looks and tastes really nice. Usually it's pretty packed because of the location, but we have not been unable to find a space yet. Staff is really nice and laid back, a perfect fit for this bar.

Lovely little pub in a lovely area. The bar maid serving us today was polite and very friendly. Watch out for the Adult Lemonade as it tastes amazing on a 30c plus day and creep up on you.

Amazing food and quaint cosy atmosphere . Returned 2019 and still cost with lovely staff but the food was no where near as good. More pub grub than boutique bar. Still a great place to relax and if you sit outside watch the sun set which is quite amazing.

Great value craft beer and food. Pie and chips was not so flash (dry and not hot) but we had a good meal the night before (flounder). Was next to our hotel and just 5 mins from the beach.

Pizza was really greasy and they have stopped accepting the amex card. Something i valued them for. I'm happy to pay the additional 1.5% or so on top of my bill, but to remove the option........not happy.
