After a cold cycle for over 2.5 hrs, this place was open! So we warmed up with some lovely hot coffee and delicious lemonade scone with oodles of butter. Lovely staff too.

Stopped here for a drink on our way to finishing the Alps to Ocean bike trail. Of course we were pretty exhausted so any cold beer was gonna be good!! Friendly and efficient service and the outdoor area was very nice. Would definitely recommend stopping here. 🙂

Amazing place, friendly welcoming staff and my favourite fish and chips to date. A cold 1905 beer from Scotts brewery and blue cod go perfectly. Pleasant place to spend the afternoon with stunning views, friendly locals and occasionally some cool old muscle cars in the car park. Best place to chill out and enjoy Otago. NZ at its best !

We were a group of nine cold, wet, muddy cyclists, bringing with us mud on our shoes and our bums... Yet, we were warmly welcome, invited to warm up around the blazing fire. Great service, great coffee, scrumptious pies - highly recommended! A perfect stop for cyclists on their way to or from Oamaru, with quirky artwork and well set up to host groups, inside with warm fire or outside when the sun is shining. Highly recommended :)

This is on the A2O cycle trail and was very busy at lunchtime, that said service was quick, friendly and helpful. Elderly parents able to access without issues. Food was good regular pup fare. Big draw card is the outside area which has lovely countryside views.

After a tiring bike there on a gorgeous day, I walked in and it smelt amazing!! The meals were a great size & very very tasty! Very clean, tidy and well laid out place. Nice to have an option of outdoor seating. Would 100% go back again.

What a wonderful place! They welcomed several wet and muddy riders from the A2O, in the middle of a southerly downpour. The staff stoked the fire, cranked up the coffee machine and were all lovely and welcoming.

My favorite place to socialize! Right on the Alps to Ocean cycle track. Cafe food and meals are excellent, beverages of all descriptions catering to all walks of life.
