J.Was great, noisy as it was Mothers Day. Food was delicious
C.Purpose built lean on tables with heavy stools surrounding them, mean a good many people can share a space and converse easily in comfort.
Big support for those wanting to bet or just view races of both horses and dogs. Staff snd patrons alike are keen to show a novice how to place a bet and staff keep info boards current.
A social club allows patrons a chance to win cash if their number is drawn at 6pm Friday
If not present, the amount jackpots. Meat raffles are offered too and snacks are provided via on-site kitchen..
K.Bar manager was offensive and rude. Looked at us on arrival but did not acknowledge us. Service was slow as it took 2 staff to make a TAB payout. Had to ask for service and we just got scowled at. Staff should be more tidily and appropriately dressed. Facilities clean and tidy.

C.Are you looking for a down to earth, non-touristy pub. This is the place to go. They have a couple of good beers on tap, service is friendly - perfect spot to hang for a couple of hours.
