It was average. I got the Paddy's Pork, but the pork was tough, though the sauce and its crispy parsnip shaving was nice. The margherita pizza was quite nice but serving size was a little small. The fries were nice

We called in for drinks & dinner at Rosies which has A great old style homely pub environment. A good menu selection with reasonable pricing & a good selection of drinks available. Went to Rosie O'Grady's tonight for the first time ever. Had a awesome time for the daughter's Birthday, we had the up stairs area all to ourselves. Service was good prices weren't to bad and the meals were enjoyed by all.

Great craft beer, amazing fries, excellent service. Nice selection of beer, with some excellent craft beers on tap. Beer battered fries are some of the best Ive had. Perfectly crispy without being greasy. Excellent flavor! Sandwiches are good too, no complaints there. Service was excellent, the bar tender was happy to tell me about the local beers and offer suggestions.

A bit of a dark looking bar. Reasonable pub grub though. I returned during covid level 2 4th June and was impressed with the compliance things put in place. Single server spacing barriers etc. Good fast meal as well.

This is my go to pub in Palmerston North. Generally the food is great and the environment is perfect for a cold guiness. I ordered the massive burger (can't remember the name) and while the burger was excellent, the chips and onion rings were excessively oily and really were hard to eat. This could have been due to old oil but was a bit disappointing. Overall, great place for beer and food.

Overall it's not bad. I would have rated 4 star however when ordering a meal, they forgot one person at the table. After a while when it never turned up, went to ask staff. After making mention at the bar, the staff member went to another member and spoke amongst themselves behind the counter making faces to show they obviously forgot a meal. They never responded to me at all while I was still standing there until one member went to kitchen and then came back saying it'll be another 10mins. Felt a little impersonal and unapologetic. Apart for that small hiccup, the food is nice, prices are reasonable. Small little pokie machines available. Nice fireplace for cold winter nights. Small upstairs area with a few tables. It's quite a small place but it's not overly squashed ether. I would suggest some tidying around the ornaments and things placed on the walls, they seem a bit dusty and give an impression its an old place. Needs a little spruce up. They also have a hurricanes tshirt framed but the shirt has fallen from the frame. Just seems like they've just overlooked a few small things that if paid attention to could really make the place feel a bit more inviting

Our absolute favourite local, we found Rosie’s the first week we moved up to PN and we’ve been there almost every week since! The food is wonderful, so many choices and we’ve never had a bad meal, great value for money and staff are always happy to tweak anything to suit your needs. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and comfortable - it has a lovely gas fire, lots of in and out door seating, a cool digital dart board as well as lots of tvs to watch sport. And if all of the above wasn’t enough to sell us, the Rosie’s team are just so kind and make you feel so welcome and really go above and beyond. We’d recommend this place to anyone, couples, groups of friends, families, it has it all!

On entering there is a warm,cosy ,friendly atmosphere.Wooden seating and cosy nooks, with more seating upstairs and a balcony for those warm summer nights. There is memorabilia throughout the bar and a fully functional fireplace to greet you.This is a great bar for after work drinks and they also hold quiz nights.The menu has s daily chefs special and provides hearty pub meals.

A perfect after work or weekend pub. The staff are helpful and friendly and i always feel safe coming here as a woman, even alone. Excellent pub food. The main meals are a generous size, but the bread & dips and garlic bread are really not worth the cost. Try the steamed mussels with garlic bread instead! I also recommend the weekly cheesecake special. Limited beers on tap. Fantastic quiz master on Thursday nights: clear voice and moves at a good pace. Call ahead to book a table for quiz as it's almost always packed out. Some pokies, but not obtrusive. Tv upstairs on the mezzanine visible to.all tables. Good outdoor areas in summer, with lots of seating on the patio and upstairs verandah. Recommended for your pub visit in Palmy.
