Big portions! Lovely food fast service and very friendly staff!! I enjoy eating here and will continue to come back. They also do charge back to most of the motels/hotels in the area.

It was average. I got the Paddy's Pork, but the pork was tough, though the sauce and its crispy parsnip shaving was nice. The margherita pizza was quite nice but serving size was a little small. The fries were nice

Just had dinner there. Seafood Chowder starter, delicious, roast pork main dish. Have to say hubby & I think that's the best food we've had in ages . Really good service from the staff. Abit quiet for a Saturday night but very enjoyable.

Great lunch hete today. Chicken pie & garlic bread for me, bangers &mash for hubby. Good service friendly staff.

We called in for drinks & dinner at Rosies which has A great old style homely pub environment. A good menu selection with reasonable pricing & a good selection of drinks available. Our food order was nicely presented & promptly delivered. Worth a visit when you visiting Palmerston North & need a pit stop.

Food is lovely and beautifully presented. Very busy as always. Shame that the door kept banging, which made it difficult for us to relax and enjoy dinner properly.

Must stop after work for dinner and few pints. Awesome service with great staff plus it is Irish restaurant /pub so always someting going on. Folks love to come to this place!

Went to Rosie O'Grady's tonight for the first time ever. Had a awesome time for the daughter's Birthday, we had the up stairs area all to ourselves. Service was good prices weren't to bad and the meals were enjoyed by all.

Think everyone enjoyed there meals they were busy as,they were on the hop from just feeding all the Jetts team.well done to the chef.and crew

Great craft beer, amazing fries, excellent service. Nice selection of beer, with some excellent craft beers on tap. Beer battered fries are some of the best Ive had. Perfectly crispy without being greasy. Excellent flavor! Sandwiches are good too, no complaints there. Service was excellent, the bar tender was happy to tell me about the local beers and offer suggestions.

A bit of a dark looking bar. Reasonable pub grub though. I returned during covid level 2 4th June and was impressed with the compliance things put in place. Single server spacing barriers etc. Good fast meal as well.

This is my go to pub in Palmerston North. Generally the food is great and the environment is perfect for a cold guiness. I ordered the massive burger (can't remember the name) and while the burger was excellent, the chips and onion rings were excessively oily and really were hard to eat. This could have been due to old oil but was a bit disappointing. Overall, great place for beer and food.

Very comfy Irish atmosphere with a great upstairs area and private rooms available. Average selection of food and a large selection of drinks. Outside area provides for a closed area for smokers.

Nice typical Irish styled pub with food, pokies, nice clean toilets. Parking limited to street parking, must have Covid Vax Pass for entry.

Had my husband's birthday dinner and drinks here as it is a fave of ours. The food was absolutely delicious. The waiting time for our food was super fast and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Rosie O'Grady's, definitely be back again!

Nice clean venue. Only popped in for one drink and didn't have any food. Well poured Guinness, non alcoholic beer options and lots of screens for the Rugby. Will have to return to try the food.

Steak was very tough. We were upstairs as.very busy. Place looking a bit tired looking, if u after a place for a beer after work it would be ok to go to.

Overall it's not bad. I would have rated 4 star however when ordering a meal, they forgot one person at the table. After a while when it never turned up, went to ask staff. After making mention at the bar, the staff member went to another member and spoke amongst themselves behind the counter making faces to show they obviously forgot a meal. They never responded to me at all while I was still standing there until one member went to kitchen and then came back saying it'll be another 10mins. Felt a little impersonal and unapologetic. Apart for that small hiccup, the food is nice, prices are reasonable. Small little pokie machines available. Nice fireplace for cold winter nights. Small upstairs area with a few tables. It's quite a small place but it's not overly squashed ether. I would suggest some tidying around the ornaments and things placed on the walls, they seem a bit dusty and give an impression its an old place. Needs a little spruce up. They also have a hurricanes tshirt framed but the shirt has fallen from the frame. Just seems like they've just overlooked a few small things that if paid attention to could really make the place feel a bit more inviting

Our absolute favourite local, we found Rosie’s the first week we moved up to PN and we’ve been there almost every week since! The food is wonderful, so many choices and we’ve never had a bad meal, great value for money and staff are always happy to tweak anything to suit your needs. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and comfortable - it has a lovely gas fire, lots of in and out door seating, a cool digital dart board as well as lots of tvs to watch sport. And if all of the above wasn’t enough to sell us, the Rosie’s team are just so kind and make you feel so welcome and really go above and beyond. We’d recommend this place to anyone, couples, groups of friends, families, it has it all!

We are here for the Massey University Graduation from Christchurch and just had a wonderful evening a meal which was outstanding and well presented followed by the quiz night. Thanks to all concerned

Great spot to watch the return of Rugby to NZ. A nice atmosphere and all types of folks seem welcome! Some kids through grandparents and everything in between. Good service and the pizza is excellent.

A busy place on a Saturday night. Food came out a lot faster than expected with it being so busy. Food was delicious and great prices. All the food we saw going out looked well presented.

Had a play in the pokie room .and every second machine was turned off.a couple of people came in with there drinks when they no that no drinks or food are aloud .

Great drinks and service. Staff always happy and polite (even with the rowdy speedway fans) and the food is not only delicious but you don’t have to wait ages like some other places.

I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was delicious. You have to try it, it's the best I've ever had. The staff were friendly and the service was great. I'll be back.

On entering there is a warm,cosy ,friendly atmosphere.Wooden seating and cosy nooks, with more seating upstairs and a balcony for those warm summer nights. There is memorabilia throughout the bar and a fully functional fireplace to greet you.This is a great bar for after work drinks and they also hold quiz nights.The menu has s daily chefs special and provides hearty pub meals.

This is a great pub to come a grab a drink with friends at. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, and if the weather is good..a nice balcony! If you're around on Thursdays definitely check out their quiz nights!

Fantastic food and great staff the platter is fantastic value for money and is delicious I would definitely recommend trying this I will definitely be returning to this venue again to try more food on the menu.

Rosie is showing her age. The interior while appropriate for the Irish pub theme is a bit run down and damage showing in places. Food and drink is very standard pub fare. Staff are friendly.

Wonderfully friendly staff, incredibly fresh food (the calamari was tender with a lovely, slightly unusual coating) and seriously decadent and generous Guinness cake.

Dark and cozy Irish pub that throws its customers back to the old country better than most reinterpretations. Good little beer selection with a thin but broad range between Kiwi craft beers and Irish stouts you need a knife and fork to devour. Go here with friends

A perfect after work or weekend pub. The staff are helpful and friendly and i always feel safe coming here as a woman, even alone. Excellent pub food. The main meals are a generous size, but the bread & dips and garlic bread are really not worth the cost. Try the steamed mussels with garlic bread instead! I also recommend the weekly cheesecake special. Limited beers on tap. Fantastic quiz master on Thursday nights: clear voice and moves at a good pace. Call ahead to book a table for quiz as it's almost always packed out. Some pokies, but not obtrusive. Tv upstairs on the mezzanine visible to.all tables. Good outdoor areas in summer, with lots of seating on the patio and upstairs verandah. Recommended for your pub visit in Palmy.
