Stopped in on the off chance to have a meal and they squeezed us in. Best decision we ever made, food was spot on delicious. The steak so tender, chicken melt in your mouth, fresh vege and the most fantastic staff. Highly recommend we will be back. Thanks again two steaks 🥩 ☺️

Honestly one of the best meals of all time. The seafood chowder, salt and pepper squid and the main green lipped mussels were perfection. Great atmosphere and vibe. Great spot to enjoy birthday day celebrations tonight. Thank you

Fantastic Irish Bar - had dinner while up from Dunedin for the weekend. Outstanding hospitality, courtesy van, fabulous food, great service, live music by the wonderful Sam Merrall, lots of dancing, great atmosphere. Didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back. Seriously good fun! The staff were amazing. Very busy night but didn't have to wait for a drink and they brought the food very quickly. Heaps of fun!

Enjoyed our meals which were good sized portions and tasted like hearty home made food. The garlic bread in particular was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. The place has an authentic Irish feel to it.

Hands down the best pork belly I’ve ever eaten! The service, vibe and food created a home away from home for anyone who’s experienced a taste of Ireland.

Fantastic meal I had the chicken burger and chips and due to being rather fussy they removed what I wouldn't eat. Thank you and excellent service.

We had two families of 5 (4 adults & 6 kids) and couldn't have picked a better place. Drinks were delivered to tables quickly, games & activities at hand to keep kids entertained and kids meals were spot on!!! Adult meals ordered; Tuesday Curry, Hot Pot, Pan Fried Fish and Bangers n Mash. We ordered an extra Chicken burger meal to share going off recommendations and have to say all meals were tasty and finished completely. Staff were absolutely awesome! Highly recommend this establishment!

Amazing experience, stopped in for dinner at short notice after being picked up in their courtesy van. The staff were more than accommodating and all smiles. The food was great and drinks were just as good. Felt well looked after, highly recommend!

I don't normally go to pubs for food but we had such a lovely time at Seumus'! We ordered the bangers and mash and the hot pot. The bangers were okay but the mash and gravy were amazing and the hot pot... The hot pot was amazing. I will dream of that hot pot. The portions were generous and arrived very quickly. We had also ordered loaded fries and could not finish it all. We tried. Lots of dairy free, gluten free and vege options if you need those. Order the Bailey's slushie. That was also divine. The place had a great friendly vibe and to top it all off, the service was amazing. Our host was so attentive and funny. When we left, he wasn't around and I feel very sad that we didn't get to say goodbye. If you're reading this, it was nice to meet you! Thanks for an awesome night. Enzo and I will be back.

Cozy friendly service. Tasty beef burger, tasty chicken burger, yummy peas, mash and sausages and absolutely huge platter. Excellent.

We were four adults and two young children. Warmly welcomed, Sat at a nice table and enjoyed a great meal. Good range of beers.

Great spot. We turned up without a reservation but Sam looked after us even though they were pretty busy. Had a steak and a platter. Both were fantastic. Recommend the Baileys slushy and the Slammer!

I spent a few hours here a couple of years ago. The staff were friendly; the food was good and the beers were cold! Lovely spot and worth a visit.

Must try when in Picton. Had a lovely meal of hotpot and guinness here. Their jalapeno poppers are also sOoo good! Will definitely come back when we re-visit Picton.

Fantastic atmosphere. Great food. Awesome to discover they sold pickled eggs too. Lovely washed down with a nice cold pint of Kilkenny (or three!!).

Absolutely stellar pub and one of the few decent pubs we’ve been to in NZ. The only thing better then being served by an Irishmen in an Irish pub is being served by a west Yorkshireman named Sam. We will be back!!!

Great food and drinks (the Baileys Slushies are a must!), convenient location and friendly staff. We were there on a Sunday over the long weekend, it was pretty busy but the staff were very attentive and informative regarding wait times etc. We’ll definitely visit again.

Had a stew tasted good but very small size, more a lunch than a main course. Others had mussels and fish and chips which were decent portions. If you are hungrey dont get the stew (or order two if you are rich as it's not cheap either). Beer was decent and ambience usual Irish.

Enjoyed a St Pat's day drink out in the courtyard in the sun. Amazingly we were given necklaces an other Irish items, so I gave the staff 2 of my Leprechaun painted rocks. Sadly they have not posted a photo as yet.

Excellent post-lockdown meal! The Menu has lots of great options but it's hard to go past the Lamb Shank! Cooked to perfection! Would highly recommend this wee Irish pub.....and dont forget to order a Balieys Slushy!🤪

We highly recommend this gem of a pub. The Mister ate "the best lamb shanks ever" Staff and patrons were incredibly friendly. We will be making this a regular eatery!

Great service, even with social distancing requirements. Food was spot on and had stuff to keep a couple kids distracted while we waited for the meals to come out. Good pint of Guinness too

Nice hearty food and cosy environment. Perfect for the cold weather. Ordered the hotpot, which was a heart beef stew with mash. Tasted quite good however could do with some bread on side, as I had to purchase extra bread, which brought my meal up for $22 to $30. So food was on the pricey end. Other than that, was quite nice. Beer on tap was also good.

Seamus's is an amazing wee bar, it is definitely our hidden gem of Picton. Fantastic food, Excellent Staff, Great Live Music. A must visit when in Picton!!

Good food and nice staff.

Was there on a quiet afternoon in October 2015. Just got off the ferry and was starving. Checked in over the road and darted across... Bar staff were super friendly, Beer was Ice COLD, Great atmosphere, and was convinced to try the pizza. Mmmmm... So good in fact, that while writing this, I found myself drooling and was forced to go raid the fridge... Definitely recommend. Pricey but delicious.

Fantastic bar. Unbelievable to say it, but you enter in, get comfy, and you forget you're in New Zealand. Bar staff v friendly, layout (appropriately small), and food is spot on (bangers and mash, just what I wanted). You'll be amongst locals having a beer, travellers catching up, a band perhaps, and others playing bar games - very cool.

Everything was pretty good except for the garden bar, which was untidy and had 87 flies (I counted them) my friend and I could both smell the stale alcohol which was a bit off-putting when eating.

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Nice live music and good beers including cider on tap. What's not to love. Third year visiting and we hope to return next year too.

Mussels are great! 10/10! Nice beer too! Burger was okay. A bit on the chinsy side as they charged for a piece of extra bread. But overall a nice pub!

Very nice Irish Themed Pub they are "The Drinking Consultants"!! - very friendly and efficient bar staff. They serve Killkenny Ale and the staff have been well trained in pouring an ale perfectly. Live acoustic duo were great !!

The best burgers. Vegetarian options. Great bar with lots of memorabilia. Definitely visit this place. I wish there were more places like this in Auckland.

Moved to Picton 4 months ago. Was recommended this fantastic little pub on Wellington St in Picton. Service is friendly & hospitable and the Publicans Alister & Liz are most welcoming. The food is excellent, can't complain! The Chicken Burger, Steak, and bangars and mash are a personal favourite. Great pub & a must visit for anyone in Picton

A hidden gem in Picton, friendly staff and good free WiFi. Food is pretty decent and there is a reasonably good beer selection too. Cozy decor and seating and live music during the day's on occasion.

I have been to Galway Bay, Inishere and know a real Irish bar where Gaelic is spoken. Here they speak Kiwi English. Low ceiling bar, very similar to original except it isn't a place to buy groceries. Selection of beer, wines, spirit. Meals to order. View of marina but the interior takes my eye. It has that special rural feel.

Good menu selection creatively catering for all dietary requirements and at reasonable prices. Reasonably priced, quality beer and attentive service.

You could not beat this amazing little Irish pub for friendless, a great atmosphere and amazing food! We stumbled upon it on our holiday and it just blew us away! If ever your in Picton looking for somewhere to eat for dinner, this is the go to place!
