We stopped in for an early lunch with the kids. Nice and quiet, clean and tidy. Food was standard pub fare and fit for purpose. Service and atmosphere were also good.

Nice restaurant bar located in town. Food was awesome, try the home made fish pie. Relaxed atmosphere with 80s 90s background music. The bar and table service friendly and pleasant. Food arrived in good time and great to eat. An enjoyable evening for two. Would recommend visiting.

Awesome people ! Friendly service with a smile ! Lamb was amazing well cooked and complimented the gravy really well ! Thanks Louise and Leanne you guys are fantastic ! Will definitely come back for dinner next when I’m in picton !

We started our St Patrick's evening here, it was quite busy but service was fast and efficient the girls were dressed up in green, a great start for a fun night.

Oh it was yummy. I got a summer salad with crumbed chicken breast. It was very tasty. Lovely dressing, pumpkin seeds and it was just so fresh. I was after something light so this hit the spot. My mate however ordered the steak. It looked awesome!! Good hunk of meat. Stole a couple of his chips.. had to steal a few more 🤣 Great food. Real locals pub ❤️

Kiwi-as, lots of great locals came up and chatted, honest pub-food with seafood you can’t find in the North Island like orange roughy (done several ways).... great spot for an old-school kiwi experience. Awesome food!!! And beer is cheap too. Local musician doing 80s kiwiana.
