Friendly staff and good drinks range, however very little to chose from mains wise so just ordered some smaller plates and was not disappointed. Needs a few more salad options or staple options such as beef burgers or all day breakfast options

Franklin’s is a must-go-to if you are going past Pukekohe. Food was delicious and the portions were decent! I would definitely recommend coming here especially for their pan seared fish 😋

I have been here a few times as well as friends and family, every visit has been amazing. The service from all staff is impeccable and the food is to die for! Amazing flavours and good variety of options to choose from. I really love the kids menu and so does my 3 year old (big bonus because he is a very fussy eater). This place is our first choice if we are wanting to go out and eat.

We had an amazing experience today with our beautiful server Bella. She was happy bubbly and so attentive. The food was amazing definitely worth the money. An exceptional platter. I'm usually a hard critic being in hospitality for 24years as a chef restaurant manager etc but this establishment is a great addition to the franklin community.

This place is a must. We went there for a nice catch up lunch and ended up ordering a lot the calamari is amazing super tender and well seasoned the sauce that comes with yummy!!. The garlic cheesy pizza bread is my absolute favorite I could just eat that and would be satisfied. Had the chocolate lava cake for dessert I was very impressed, beautiful plating and the fondant was cooked perfectly which is quite hard if I say so my self only negative is a bit to much crumb. The staff are very friendly and we’re super nice when we pointed out that our one class of coke was quite dirty they took it off our bill and gave us a free drink to make up for it. Would definitely recommend

Without a doubt this place has the best service, staff and food in pukekohe. We were a difficult group with a couple of veggies a gluten free and the standard meat eaters. The guys at Franklins went out of their way to insure we were all happy as Larry. The Korean chicken wings are out of this world and for those who don’t eat meat they do a veggie option that’s just as great. Salads were fresh and tasty, everything was super well done, cooked perfectly and well presented. Even the pub standards like hot chips and bar snacks were great and well priced. To top off the whole thing the girls and Guys behind the bar were top notch with tasty beers and some great cocktails and mocktails. Everyone seemed to work extra hard to make our meal a awesome experience. I know it seems a touch gushy but I am totally in love with this bar, the atmosphere, the staff attitude and the food are all top notch. Well done team! Will see you again soon.

This place is incredible! The second that you walk through the doors you are greeted by friendly staff, surrounded by stunning interior with the restaurant tucked away which is perfect for date nights, a family dinner, drinks with friends/family or any occasion that you can think of. Anything that you order off the menu will blow your mind and trust me, I have eaten it all! You are eating high quality food with a crafted menu to suit all tastes. I have taken my niece and nephew here (who are very picky eaters) and now my niece will only ever eat the worms and dirt (wagu spag bol) from here. They request to come back every time we go out for a family meal!

I came here the other day with my Fiancé and the food was absolutely incredible. I had a margarita pizza and it was by far the best pizza I've ever tasted. And the passionfruit cocktail was a dream.

Nice place and vibe... Music TOO loud tho and for that reason everyone needed to be screaming. Impossible to have a normal conversation. Food OK, almost too pricey for the quality.

Quite a limited larger plates menu. The smaller plates however is probably better. In saying that we were happy with the food we got. Calamari was our fave. Margherita pizza good and leftovers Chicken burger was good Pannacotta dessert was delish and yum cocktails!

Franklins in Pukekohe is definitely worth a visit. As a stylish gastro bar, it sports a good range of Fortune Favours beer and a menu that's a cut above. The crispy duck leg with gnocchi, chorizo crumb and peas is amazing. Perfectly tender gnocchi in a smoky creamy sauce is offset by little pops of freshness from the garden peas. The duck is rich, crispy and 'melt in your mouth'. A great combo! The classics, fish & chips and the lamb rumb are absolute winners too.

Third time I have dined here. Previous times the food has been delicious and a wide choice of options. This time however I had the salmon and tuna tataki. 3 small 2cm cubes of tuna and 2 smaller pieces of salmon and wonder if the budget is a bit of a concern or complacency is slipping in. The menu choices are becoming mundane and hope that this place is not slipping into suburbia back waters. The service was excellent and our server was cheerful and helpful.

Hi guys, I was in on Saturday (table of 16 for a baby shower) and just wanted to say that your FOH and BOH teams did a spectacular job. Service was awesome, never felt rushed and never had to wait too long between drinks orders. Food was top notch and all came out at the same time. Your kitchen is clearly a well oiled machine! Fantastic experience last night with friends. The girls who served us were amazing and service was efficient and attentive throughout. The matre'D was welcoming and friendly. The seating had different areas to cater for every type of occasion. And the FOOD awesome portions for affordable and reasonable prices. They even had a kids menu. Thank you for the best night out.

Food was absolutely to die for, our server Simon was positively lovely and all service came with a smile. The atmosphere was great and good to see the rugby on. Only downside was one of the other servers (young bald guy with moustache) I made eye contact and did a polite wave over to our table as we were in need of napkins and cutlery and he made eye contact and walked away. If he was busy he could have just indicated that someone would be with us shortly, it honestly just came off quite snobby and rude.

So pretty and awesome lively atmosphere. Also a good bar selection if that's what your into! Had the fish and chips which were really good, also tried a bunch of the sharing food like the garlic bread and calamari! great portions and good for groups. BUT, BUT THE DESSERT! please get the chocolate fondant, you won't regret it. Came away super stuffed and happy, thanks guys! will have to come again sometime :)

Delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere! The calamari is the best I’ve had anywhere. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Cocktails are yummy, I recommend the espresso martini’s . The kids menu was also awesome, they loved the bento boxes. Vegetarian options. We will definitely be back.

Very clean restaurant and bar areas with clean toilets. Very nice food and great service. The staff are friendly and the owner knows his stuff. The prices are ok and the whiskey selection is massive. Definitely suggest it for a nice time out.

Already a local favourite of mine after last night I cannot praise or rate the staff more highly - the after dining customer interest on the feedback & enjoyment of our meals was above & beyond! Had my Birthday dinner over their. Everything is awesome. Kids meals are huge. Bella who is our servings table, she is very good in Hospitality and very bubbly in nature. Amazing experience. No need to go Auckland city for dinner. Best in puke.

Have had both lunch and dinner at Franklins and the food has been fantastic. Loved the sharing plates especially the Persian lamb and salmon/tuna tostadas. Good to see that so many of the dishes can be made gluten free. Very nice fit out and friendly staff. Good wine list

A lovely addition to Pukekohe. Such a lively place with yum food - the squid is extra delish and highly recommended 🤤. Originally was a little loud, but they've installed acoustic panels now and my deaf old ears can hear just fine. No need for my ear trumpet. Make sure you try out the cocktails too, the bar have made some great twists some old favourites.

Have been 5 or 6 times for dinner and food is always delicious(my fave are the prawn Summer rolls and lamb rump) ! Also snuck in a couple of times for drinks, once for a cheeky solo wine after work and another for a catch up with a group of friends, having such a good time we then stayed on and watched the game. Love the cool decor, and friendly vibes, classy but casual- I was comfortable to dress up for an occasion and to just hang out in jeans and t shirt for drinks. Staff are wonderful, neither too all over you but also not leaving you waiting to place extra drink orders all night. I have recommended a heap of my friends and now we are all regulars, so good to finally have a restaurant and bar that hits all the notes and brings a touch of town to the country💜
