A very pleasant place to enjoy a cheeky cocktail or two along with an ice cold beer on a hot Queenstown afternoon! Obvioulsy some very nice views of the lake too!

How great is this?! A permanently moored boat that you can take your own food onto or order a $20 deal with a burger, chips and drink! The burgers were from Devil Burger and were delicious!

Perky's in Queenstown is a pleasant bar and it's on a moored boat, so that's a bit difference. Good range of cocktails and other drinks. Lovely place for a few late night drinks.

Such a cool place with an amazing view! Great cocktails and was awesome to have Devil Burger delivered!

Good deals of $20 for an dining experience on the boat. Meal comes with delicious Devil's burger+fries+house wine/beer, top up $7 to get their signature Mulled wine which is a warm red wine mixed with spices, worthy to try on winter time.

Cute place to grab a drink and relax before you do all the activities on the waterfront.

Where do we start with this place? If you want a truly unique experience in Queenstown, look no further! Hannah and the manager Max are fantastic and made for a great few nights here! If you're a fan of mulled wine look no further. On a cold night, head here and grab a blanket, walk upstairs under the heaters and watch the sun disappear as night falls. Thanks team! We will be back! Update: Been back, and still better than ever.

Really great and unique place to visit and have a few drinks

Amazing place to relax and feel the Queenstown vibe. The floating boat bar is perfectly positioned on the lake front where the other restaurants are. I love the idea of BYO food and drink. very relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Its the highlight of our Queenstown holiday while listening to the bar music and also the saxophone live play on the lake front. The downstairs seating area is cozy and warm so you can move there if it gets cold and windy at night. Nice and clean toilet provided.. friendly staff. reasonable price for drinks and burger deal if you wish to order from the bar which is great.

Best cocktails in town. If your a big fan of dark and stormys they have there very own Queenstown dark and grizzlys that are twice as good! awesome service

This little floating bar is exceptional! You can even take your own food on board and have a drink! The staff are very friendly and the views are priceless! No need to book an expensive cruise to view the sunset in Queenstown! Take your Fergburger and have a beer!

A lovely bar on a boat (that stays anchored). Great that you can bring your own snacks and food. We got some crackers and cheese to go with the affordable $8 house red wine. There are some cushions on the bow of the boat which you can sit on for extra comfort.

Awesome concept, we bought fergburgers and ate it aboard the floating boat enjoying the amazing views, There is no cost to enjoy your meal on board and children are welcome just as long as you supervise your little ones closely.

Completely stunning. This is super cool. We enjoyed our experience here. The views of lake wakatipu were totally breathtaking. This little bar also provided us with blankets in the evening to sit back and enjoy our drinks. The service was great and the location was absolutely fantastic. Must try. Highly recommended.

Interesting idea for a bar! We stopped in with some Ferg Burgers (bring your own food) and grabbed some good beer for 7.50. Not bad at all. The experience of drinking on thr boat was unique. It was quite choppy water and the boat rocked a lot sometimes but it didn't bother us. The staff was friendly and the seating was nice. We were in the upper portion and there was clear plastic around the outside to block the wind and heat lamps inside to make it warm and cozy. I would recommend stopping by for some drinks in a cool experience.

Cool little bar in the heart of queenstown! We called in for a drink at the start of our evening, and loved it! It's got a cool atmosphere, warm as anything with the heaters going and a view that you would struggle to beat. We will definitely be back

A great place to have a few drinks, upstairs is all heated so all the views with none of the winter chill. The drinks are very reasonably priced and you can bring your own food which is a great way to keep costs down if you're on a budget

We always visit here when in Queenstown; such a fun experience. It can be chilly in winter so rug up warm but the drinks are good (I always go for the special cocktail) and the service is always top notch! Hope to see you again soon!

Loved this place when we were visiting QT. Best place to take your fish and chips/Fergburger. They have cheap but delicious drinks, warm blankets, heaters and the best view in town!!!

Nice little bar with competent staff. The seating layout and access routes could have been made a bit clearer though, and the downstairs (indoor) seating had very limited views due to another, bigger boat being moored in the next pier over. Limited food options so I would only recommend coming here for a quick drink before or after dinner. It also didn't seem to offer a cocktail menu.

Amazing place for a drink or just bring your own food and enjoy the view. Really chilled atmosphere, and great value for money. Try the drink and burger combo for a giveaway price. These guys even provide free water in a bottle. Definately one of Queenstowns best little bars.

Haha once we saw this, we felt like we had to go have a drink almost as a joke because who thought we'd be on a boat? Did have some bean bags up top with blankets that got quite comfy despite the cold wind. Very basics though on the drinks or cocktails.

Real fun. Where else could you go to a bar(and a floating one at that!) and take your own food with you? A beer, a Pinot Noir and and an orange juice purchased at the bar accompanied by Fergburgers. A brilliant early evening in Queenstown.

This place is an absolute gem in the heart of Queenstown. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the lake view is gorgeous. The super friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere put it over the top. My wife and I enjoyed our drinks lounging on bean bags on the upper deck as we watched the lake. Go ahead and bring your own food, if you choose, and chill.

This was our favourite bar in Queenstown by far. Great prices, super warm, the friendliest staff, and BYO food make it a must do. Not to mention you're on a boat!

I know the owner, he's heckin' awesome and also he has great taste in interior design (he probably has a degree in it, but I'm not sure). I can only recommend going to this bar if you're in the area. Also, try the Boundary Road Lager, it's terrific. He also does the tour boat on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, try to get on to one of those. Have a great trip!

Loved grabbing drinks on this boat. Great place to watch the sunset. It’s a BYO food type of bar so feel free to bring along some munchies! Also, for those that have a weak stomach be aware that the boat does wobble a lot.

My wife and I were in Queenstown for two days and made an appearance at Perky’s both days. This is a great place to chill and soak in the gorgeous surroundings. It’s also the best place to eat your Fergburger. Hannah was an outstanding host.

Just for the view and experience of being in a boat I rate it 4 stars. The prices are alright for Queenstown but the selection is not that great and they don't prepare cocktails. Anyway you can enjoy a good glass of wine or beer with a great view.

You can bring your own food and enjoy them on this floating bar & cafe. The service is friendly and the view is fantastic. If it gets a bit chilly there are blankets to help you enjoy the last rays of the sunset or a late night beverage.

Great location on the water, we sat on the roof of the boat which had outdoor heaters and nice fairy lights. The barman was very friendly, drinks were reasonably priced, and you are allowed to BYO food which was great for us. Top tip: bring your fergburger on board!

Looking forward to a $7.50 pint as advertised on chalk board and menu but disappointed with just 0.4L beer I received - where’s the rest of my pint, I’m owed 168ml of beer. Great view, nice bar but not a pint!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Queenstown from Canada. Perky's quickly became one of our highlights of our entire South Island road trip. Sitting atop the boat in the winter with our blankets (provided by Max) and mulled wine was an experience we will never forget and never stop talking about. LOVE this place.
