U. F.Wonderful little campground. Due to the campground being full with campervans and no room for a tent we got given a little cabin by the owner which was perfect and we had somewhere warm to sleep. We had dinner on the deck at the hotel which we really enjoyed. Would definitely stay again.

P. L.Great meals. The roast included 9 veges and the Iky burger kept me full for 24 hours! The accommodation is good value. John and his wife make you feel at home. Having a good old fashioned country meal there is a must, if you're traveling by!

W. S.Friendly. A genuine slice of rural kiwiana at it's best. Excellent, fresh food. Camping ground simple but most of what you need (we were in a self- contained camper but enjoyed use of bathroom/toilet/hot shower facilities). Highly recommend.

C. F.Incredible value for the price, powered campsite 2 adults only $26. Great stopover in the area when passing through the south.
Hosts were friendly and accommodating, and showed us where everything was.
Kitchen with utensils available, hot showers with pressure, and toilets.
No WiFi and very patchy cell service in this area.
A. L. (.Great place to stay. Friendly staff, good food prepared quickly. The only comment I'd make is our room could have done with another bedside table. In addition the WiFi signal was a bit weak as I don't think the WiFi extenders were working.
Can't complaint for the price of the room though so all up would happily stay again.
J. L.We arrived with a large family and enjoyed every minute, this is true West Coast Accomodation that is more then adequate. The staff are welcoming and helpful The meals are amazing, the locals friendly and a wee pub that is well supported. Can't wait to come back and see the renovations completed. Thank you all for making our jorney to return our parents/grandparents and uncle back home.

J. B.Friendly and hospitable pub out in the middle of nowhere. Able to sit down and chat with the locals who make you feel welcome. Nice to sit outside and watch the rest of the world rush by. Definitely a good reason to stop and stretch your legs awhile
