L.Loved this place it was so delicious so fresh amazing customer service and what makes me the happiest is they have disability friendly ways to get up to it aka a ramp but also a button to press if you need help to get there I was very impressed and would happily go there again. Honestly the best place I've had a really good meal

T.Delicious lunch on a rainy Saturday. Good menu options, able to adapt meal choice for gluten free diner with no problems, friendly, attentive service, good value, extensive selection of ales on tap - and their iconic "grown up lemonade" is worth a try! Not our first visit and won't be our last. Oh and I can thoroughly recommend the Thai beef salad!

F.Second visit was not as good as before. Food was just OK - bordering at acceptable as the fish was not as fresh as last time. Disappointingly all staff decided to ignore dirty, sticky tables on the night and just walled pass time and time again. Good local beer selection.

I would only ask that Sprig & Fern would make a low/zero alcohol beer. Same goes for all other pubs.

n.Great place,we ate here twice both time the food was great, service was also great and with a smile. Gets busy hard to find a table but luckily we found a lovely couple of locals who were willing to share their table. Excellent all around.

J.Great brewpup, and they have a two liter plastic soda type bottles for takeaway. This was fantastic since it only cost about half a buck for the bottle as opposed to fifteen bucks for the throw away glass growler in the states. Food was pretty good as well.
R.Last Friday night I had my 1970’s themed 70th birthday party. The buffet food was superb thanks to Chef David, DJ Chris had the dance floor pumping & even the bar staff were dancing to Abba, Bee Gees etc behind the bar, the Service was top rate. I have many txt complimenting the entire evening. Thank you Sue & team for a fantastic night.

A.Our cycling club had a prize giving at this pub. The service was outstandingly friendly and helpful. The pizzas were delicious and wonderful variety. Baskets of nibbles were great. The staff obviously take a pride in working for this great bar and eatery.

Our friends steaks were amazing but my hubby got this tiny piece(end) with like a slice of beef underneath to make it look good.. hugely disappointed and had to pay $31. Everything else was fine

r.I went to the Sprig and Fern on a Wednesday, quiz night. Though we we not part of the quiz group, we were accommodated. Upon ordering my partner did not eat certain things. It was not a problem to the staff and they immediately offered more of other food to compensate. They food was great. I would be willing to return and have recommended the place to others.

D.This Spring and Fern map is is the place to go. With a large range of locally brewed beer you cant go wrong. The brewery has wont heaps of awards for their beers and one taste and you'll see why. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Highly reccomend.

I.This is a great place to visit. It is fine old style pub but it has had a wonderful social up date. You wont find TV,s and gaming machines here what you will find is relaxed family friendly atmosphere, fine hearty affordable food and big selection of delicious Sprig & Fern brewed beers.

K.Looking like bubbling lava, the first drink I had at Sprig & Fern was their Mango and Lime cider. I didn't see how it would work but I couldn't resist. I expected the mango to be completely overwhelming, but it was exceptionally well balanced.
The venue itself was great. I thought the historic exterior would largely be a facade, but it maintained its quaint aesthetic inside. The friendliness of the staff added to the atmosphere and the open outdoor areas offered a great view of the town.

D.Great experience. Wonderful craft beers from one of New Zealand's master brewers. The Hoptopia was yummy, the brewer has done her self proud and made a hope infused delight. Very drinkable would like to have had a few more but alas time didn't allow. Coffee was also above average according to my partner.
