R. T.Nice place to visit the locals are very nice and welcoming
A. N. A.Cool place, likeable interiors with all the gaming stuff setup. Polite staff, a very little bit longer to serve than usual but c'mon, it's a small town.
$10 Lunch Specials seem like they'd be small in quantity compared to the regular menu but they're plentiful for 1 person, even a hog like me!
The chicken wraps are yum! The fish was fresh & good. . . fantastic chips, BTW, really great! Decent beef quesadillas, very filling again. The nachos aren't the best despite the beef & stuff being the same as in the quesadillas. Superb wedges, too, and you enough have enough dips everywhere to go around & still have a little left.
J. S.We hadn’t planned to be in Tairoa but the road was closed due to flooding. We had a great night at the local. Friendly peeps. Really good food we both had the beef burger. Stop a night, play some pool with the locals and run your tunes on the jukebox. Classic Kiwi
A. B.We had a great time here. Even though it was crazy busy with the world cup All Blacks game on - the team here put up the best service. Not only did we all have snacks and drinks minutes within ordering we were well looked after even though it was almost midnight. Highly recommended. Great job Aman and team!! FYI Nachos were yumm.
P.Typical bar, the food was ok and the beer was cold but it is not an inviting atmosphere. A great place to meet your workmates for a beer on the way home
T. B.Went there for dinner tonight not expecting to much. We order steak sandwichs and beef and cheese burgers, when they came out l we where presently surprised they where absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

The local crowd are very clicky and not friendly. Bring a mate.
