G.It's so rare to find such a good value restaurant at such a popular strategic high value location on Taurangas esplanade. Sunday roast was just perfect then we treated ourselves to a delightful tricked up banana split desert. Service fast and friendly. Highly recommended!!!
R.Previously I had raved about the dessert but... Tonight the table was sticky, not busy, so no reason.
The roast pork was really nice, good price, friendly staff, however ... We waited 45 minutes for a simple (meringue, ice cream, whipped cream) dessert when arrived was small and not worth the wait, sad to say.
J.Beautiful spot to sit in the sun and look across the water. Staff are friendly and efficient and while their menu is fairly standard pub fare it's all done well and at a reasonable price. Perfect place for a nice breakfast, social lunch or pint at the end of the day. Well worth checking out.

I went there for lunch time and there are not many people so that I could enjoy time here.
Unfortunately I could have pork ribs which I wanted..steak was nice okay and chips were great. Dumpling is not that great.
I would try other food next time.

E.Ran outt of a few things gatlic bread and asked for a side of garlic butter for my steak none avail nor was there hollandaise... Bar staff werent wearing masks wait time was a tad long for our crispy chicken starter and then mains came out looked like it was just dumped on the plate like they couldnt be bothered. Usually my experience here is pretty good why i came back to bring my sister from aucks tō be kinda let down..
L.I have no hesitation in recommending anyone from anywhere im the world if by chance you are inn Tauranga do go to cornerstone bar and eaterie in Tauranga.
Nice Atmosphere, clean delicious meals,.Not forgetting the Staffs.Very good servce and very attentive.

S.You can find awesome Fish & Chips here. Reasonable price and larger quantity. Friendly staff. If you go to Tauranga surely visit this place.

P.We ordered nachos, & wedges. Portion size excellent. But, the nachos had bigger or mince. More corn chips than mince. I did love how they added gherkins & beans & other vegies to it. Plus we asked for no cheese. We got cheese.👎. Prices for our food was reasonable.

F.Came in tonight when kitchen was soon to close and was served without fuss at all. The pork ribs sauce was amazing although the meat did not fall off the bone as it should but I would say this was because of the time. My partner had the chicken burger it was divine. Chicken was crispy, vegetables were fresh, felt very clean.

D.Absolutely terrific bar and grill. The food was top notch, the TV was playing cricket highlights and there was a fantastic musician providing live entertainment. Very family-friendly. My 2 year old was treated very well, had a comfortable highchair and was given an activity pack to amuse herself with. Highly recommend the $12 pizza Monday special. With a bowl of fries, it was enough for two adults and a toddler. Guinness on tap, along with plenty of other options, including Mai Tais. Will certainly go out of my way to return next time we visit Tauranga.
M.Excellent, friendly service and delicious, good value Sunday roast dinner. Complimentary nibbles and soft drinks for the sober driver. Awesome venue to relax for a drink/meal with live background music on a Sunday afternoon..so very impressed and will definitely be back soon :)

A.It was a pleasant day to sit outside for a late lunch. We both had avacodo chicken salad. There was a good selection of beer and mixed drinks. The indoor seating looked nice as well. As we left, a band was setting up for late afternoon and evening.

D.Despite recent rain we were able to sit outside, watch the world go by and the tide change. We each had fresh orange juice, good flat whites and bacon and scrambled eggs. One of us liked the streaky bacon, the other not. That was the only difference on a tasty breakfast.
P.Very nice for lunch. Good value kids meals on a Sunday. Fish burger was yummy. Beef burger too but personally would have switched out the onions for gherkins.

We visited x3 times over a 5 day stay in Tauranga and will be back next time we are in town. So nice to see a bit of effort put into the bar snaks. Not just Chips and weges. So sick of such slack offerings. Good service and great location on The Strand. Friendly staff. Well worth your consideration

N.We were vacationing in Tauranga. Popped in here for a cold beer. We also decided to have a bite to eat. We ordered Chili Beef Nachos and Chicken and Avocado Salad. Unfortunately my nachos were covered over with so much chilli con carne, salsa etc, it softened most of the nachos. I couldn't eat it. Our waiter noticed this and asked me what I didn't like about my meal. Shortly after I was pleasantly surprised when another staff person offered to remove it from our bill. Appreciate it. We will return.
