A.Quaint place, located in the heart of Tauranga. Lots of good beer and great deals every day. Good food. Good service. Friendly and helpful wait staff. Enjoyed myself here. Would highly recommend to tourists and travelers and even locals for a thoroughly enjoyable evening out.

Have to say, this is the only pub (with less than 20 pumps) that I've been in that has two APA's on tap.
Stewart the owner just brought me a McLeod Pale Ale to taste. Nice chap!! Nice beer!

Went to a Meet The Brewer evening with brewer from McLeods Brewery. $25 for the night which was really good value. Speaker gave us an outline of the brewery vision then detailed descriptions of the seven excellent beer tasters we enjoyed. The Barrel Room provided nibbles in the form of various fresh pizzas.
Good service, great pizza, fantastic beers.....all in all, a very informative, enjoyable night out.
A.Cool selection of craft beers that changes regularly. Also has 2 cellar conditioned beers on traditional hand pumps. Friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff. All day Sun (If it's sunny) and great food. All boxes ticked.
A.The drinks are exceptional but the food and nibbles very much less so. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient and there is a good vibe. The music isn't too loud that it makes it hard to have good chats. Awesome outdoor seating in the summer!

J.Went in for dinner this evening are were as impressed as always. We have some odd dietary requirements at the moment (low carb) and they were more than happy to adjust menu items to suit.
Excellent, ever changing beer and cider on tap. We scored the last apple crumble cider too. Sorry. :-)
10/10, one of our regulars now.
